I love it when you make tutorials!!! there is no one like you on YT that explaines so well how to apply eyeshadow like you do!!! I really already learned a lot of you!! what should I do without yr videos?????
I’ve had this palette awhile but wanted to see what looks people are creating with it. I can’t figure out why people hate this palette!! It’s my go to every day!
Gosh, you are so remarkable and beautiful! I could sit here and watch you put on makeup for hours. Your blending of eye shadow colors is simply amazing! I watch eagerly for each new video that you do to pop up. Keep up the wonderful work. You bring so many such enjoyment !
Hi Z! I'm excited to see you love this palette because, it's my favorite palette it has all your basic shadows you need for day and night looks. This is the palette I take when I go out of town or visit my mom's. Take care and God bless!
I used this palette for the first time today and I'm already in love!! The purple tones are right up my alley with my hazel eyes. They are matte but are so pigmented and blend like a dream. Beautiful look Z! I love your videos :)
Such a pretty look! BTW, a note about that Chanel serum. It's not a moisturizer. A serum goes underneath a moisturizer for added benefits and also helps pull your moisturizer deeper into the layers of the skin. :)
Love, love, LOVE my Tartlette palette! I didn't expect to love it as much as I do but it is a great companion to the numerous shimmery palettes and shadows I have in my collection. Beautiful look you created, by the way :-)
Oh my gosh, this look is so beautiful on you! I love matte shadows, guess I'm gonna have to get this one. Beautiful look, and as always thank you for doing it for us :).
Beautiful look Z and yes I have this palette I got it by the vib discount in sephora and I love it. Really pigmented and so worth it thank you for this look absolutely gorgeous.
matte shadows really look better on you and your look here is gorgeous! I want to get this palette one day. I only use matte shadows and they look awesome.
Zabrena, thanks for reviewing this palette. I have had my eye on it for a while. Also the tarte website has a 20% off their site this weekend with the coupon code SPLASH so now is a good time to get it! Also wanted to share with you that I have never had a makeup vanity in my bedroom and wanted one so badly. You inspired me with the beautiful one you found so I went on the hunt on my local Craigslist and found the perfect small wooden desk for $50 I could re-purpose since my space for it is small. I painted it a beautiful wedgewood blue with white handles and paired it with a straight back chair in the same color that has a beautiful floral material in pastels for the seat. I hung a gorgeous mirror on the wall over the desk and then organized all my makeup in the drawers and in acrylic containers on the desktop and I am in LOVE! Every girl deserves a makeup vanity! Thanks, Kim
Hey Z, love that 60's look in yellow! You're rockin it girl! I do believe this is my favorite palette of all that I have. I just keep going back to it time and time again since buying it. Tarte has really stepped up their game when it comes to their eye shadows. The formula from the past couple years had me swearing off Tarte eye shadows forever! But then I purchased a Tarte TSV from QVC that had eye shadow with it and I was blown away how much they'd improved! So I jumped on the Tartlette palette and been so happy with it! Have you tried any of the shades wet? I love them for liner. I've seriously thought about buying a back up! Hope to see more combos from you using this palette. xoDebbie
I have this palette and absolutely love it for its versatility and natural overall matte looks but it can be a challenge to work with when blending. I try lots of different techniques and brushes and also don’t rush but instead, take my time. The colors are beautiful! 😊
I'm so glad you did this because I haven't tried any tart products but so many on youtube have used it and still I couldn't bring myself to purchasing it just yet. I bought both the Lorac Pros and loved them but they kind of made me a sceptic and scared to purchase palletes all togeather because there are someshadows in those pallets that look nice at first application but then fade into a hot mess when blending. Personaly this makes me feel cheated sometimes. Granted the shades that work are great but I wish I could trade in the few that don't lol. What good is a shadow that just sits there in the pallet? With so many products out there its so hard to choose. even when I swatch them I can not decide because I've found that swatching doesn't do much for how they will actually look or work on your personal eyes lol. You have always been so brutally honest and help with the weeding out the gimmicks Thank you so much Z!!!
Yay, finally, the Tartlette Review!! LOVE your energy in all your videos! At 43 yrs old, I've been looking for an all/mostly all matte palette since I now have 1 dropped/droopy eyelid (the joys of aging) and one 'regular' lid. Been trying to decide between the Lorac Pro and Tartlette palette and hoping this video would help me to decide. D'oh, you love both! Could you steer me in the right direction? Thanks again for all your videos, especially the Frugal Fridays series!
Kate Szczypinski Hi Kate! Thank you for your kind words! :) Haha! Both ARE really great, but for what you're looking for, I'd recommend going with the Tartlette palette. I promise you won't be disappointed with it! Thank you for your support, beautiful! xoxo!
Unfortunately i can not purchase the palette, but i have other eyeshadows that i know will work. Just will have to build the pigment up more, I have 4 kids and i just put myself on a strict budget. I have two teens. One 15 and one fixing to be 17 in July. College will be around that corner. So i am on a no buy for everything. I love your videos and your frugal fridays help me out so much. Thank you. You're awesome doll 💜💜💜💜
Love your channel. On Tarte's website, the have another group of the clay eyeshadows for $38 & they are not all matte. About 6 or 7 are limited edition.
Thanks for this look and review Z! I have been eye balling this palette for so long but I feel like I have most of these shadows either in other palettes or in singles. IDK!! xoxo
Love the look! I've been eyeing this palette for a while now but didn't get it because I have soooo much makeup already but now I'm thinking that I'm going to get it....yup... I'm getting it, lol
I want this palette SO BAD...!!!! I've looked at it several times at Sephora. It's so gorgeous when I've tested it out.. I just need to get passed the price tag.. I'm on a budget.. boo.... I will get it someday... lol It's probably the prettiest one I've ever seen.. Love the matte shades.. Thanks for the video.. Now I want it even more.. !!! Thanks Z...
My Tartelette palette actually arrived the same day this video was posted. I am so trying the look that you did here! By the way, Too Faced Natural Matte is another good neutral matte palette.
I was waiting for you to post a video for this palette before I used it!! Sounds like it's a 👍!! If I spend good 💵on a high end palette, I want to make sure it's worth it! I value your opinion and other YT'bers...but you're the one I look to for eyeshadow reviews!! Thanks!
So glad you got this palette and like it! Can't wait to see what you create with it. Where did you purchase the eyeliner from? I've never heard of that brand.
Pretty combo! You take such care with your blending! I throw it on a little sloppier, but this palette is very forgiving for impatient folks like me. Love this look and will attempt. : ) xox
This palette looks awesome! I love Tarte products - I discovered them kind of randomly and now I've been using a ton of their stuff - there is a mascara that's incredible from them, I forgot the name but it comes in a gold tube, and I love their blushes. Oh, and the BB Cream is perfect, too! And their brushes are even great. Love love love. Just a side note since you weren't happy with that moisturizer - there is a weird moisturizer out there that isn't from any big brand, called Egyptian Magic. It has very few ingredients, and sounds kind of weird, but it's seriously the best moisturizer I've ever had. Read the reviews on Amazon, you'll see others say the same! One jar lasts forever because you use so little. I have no affiliation to it, just a huge fan and I'll never use another moisturizer again :)
Loved the video. Your application is always seamless and PERFECT. I have crepey hooded eyes and all shadows seem to end up looking the same. Which palette would you recommend ...... the Pink IT palette or this Tartlette palette? Thanks for all your guidance!!
Wow, this palette is quite pigmented. I've tried Tarte eye shadows in a holiday gift set and found it so disappointing that I swore off Tarte shadows. Well, now I'm going to have to check this out.
Hi, Z! I recently got this palette and I'm gonna try this look. It's beautiful! :) Btw, which brush did you use for the blush? I'm still looking for the perfect blush brush. Thanks!
i was thinking about buying this palette ! Thanks for the review :) btw i was at sephora and swatched the colors . i felt they are a little bit powdery. did u feel that ? love ur videossss xoxo
Claire El Chalouhi Hi Claire! You're very welcome! I didn't find them to be powdery in my experience. I thought they were very creamy and buttery :) If you've been looking for an all matte palette, it's a great one to get! Thank you for watching!
Hi! First time comment, so I got this eyeshadow by maybelline new york " the blushed nudes" and I was wondering if you could to a tutorial on it because I dont know how to use it I just like the colors.?
I love your videos, but I wish you did more cool-toned looks and more looks without rosy tones too! Don't get me wrong though, your videos are awesome :)
This is not a criticism to this vlogger but I’ve never understood why beauty vloggers always tell the specifics of the brushes they use. How crazy would you all think I was if I told you all that I lost my Tartelette palette in my own house? I've search my apartment like crazy and still can't find it. :/
MyNijahDarling OMG! Get the makeup sniffing hounds ASAP! LOL ;) I can believe it! I "lost" MAC's Vex eyeshadow for the longest time, bought another one, and then found the lost one months later - haha!

I also brush (with a fluffy eye shadow brush) a tiny amount of make up forever setting powder on my lashes before applying Mascara (I'm sure any setting powder would work). This will absorb any oil on your lashes & grab hold of the mascara & sets it. It also makes your lashes appear thicker but that's not why I do it. I always use waterproof mascara. Anita Marie how did it go? Did you like it?
Love, love, LOVE my Tartlette palette! I didn't expect to love it as much as I do but it is a great companion to the numerous shimmery palettes and shadows I have in my collection. Beautiful look you created, by the way :-)
What a pretty look! I have been eyeing the tartlette palette for a while...this might have pushed me over the edge! xo
Hi Zabrina, yes I have this palette and LOVE it!!! So many combinations you could do...Thanks for the video!!
Blessings, Robin
Oh my gosh, this look is so beautiful on you! I love matte shadows, guess I'm gonna have to get this one. Beautiful look, and as always thank you for doing it for us :).
Love this look and can't wait to try it! Question...do you have platform, white, go go boots on?? Love the whole look on you!!
You did an amazing job! I found the Tarte palettes to be very difficult to blend.
Beautiful look Z and yes I have this palette I got it by the vib discount in sephora and I love it. Really pigmented and so worth it thank you for this look absolutely gorgeous.
I just bought this palette today. Can't wait to try it!

Dianne Buckingham Hi Dianne! I haven't had much success with the IT palettes, just my opinion - I'd say go with the Tarte one, MUCH better quality! :D
Thanks for your reply.....Off to Ulta I go. lol
Love your narration! Very helpful, thanks!
I love the 60's vibe your hair/clothes/makeup were putting off! You look like you stepped right out of 1966 - very mod. :-D
Gorgeous and love all the tips! ♥ Elle
You look beautiful in this video......I really love this look, good job Zabrina!!!

ohhh my thanks
This is not a criticism to this vlogger but I’ve never understood why beauty vloggers always tell the specifics of the brushes they use. I think as long as you have a similar size and shape brush then it doesn’t really matter what you’re using. I know some want the exact specifics to recreate the look. But one can do it with different brushes. Just my opinion.
How crazy would you all think I was if I told you all that I lost my Tartelette palette in my own house? I've search my apartment like crazy and still can't find it. :/
MyNijahDarling OMG! Get the makeup sniffing hounds ASAP! LOL ;) I can believe it! I "lost" MAC's Vex eyeshadow for the longest time, bought another one, and then found the lost one months later - haha!
omg you have such a baby face! you look like 16 :)
I love your videos on here and snapchat. Thank you so much for making them. I have some questions for you.
1. Do you prefer real or synthetic hair brushes?
2. How do you clean them and how often? What soaps do you use and why?
3. Have you seen/tried the eye liner made by a fellow youtuber Lex? If so what was your opinion? If not, here it's the link if you are interested. I would like to see your take on it.

4. When I put mascara on my bottom lashes, even if it's water proof, I end up looking like a raccoon in about an hour. How do I prevent that? Eye shadow does it too. I use Nyx matte primer, foundation, and powder and wet n wild concealer. My mascara is waterproof lash stiletto and my eye liner is the rimmel waterproof liquid with the angled tip.
I love seeing Inky on snapchat!
I know I'm not who your asking, but ... My lashes are very long, the bottom ones brush against my face, so if I'm not careful I'll get the dreaded raccoon eyes too. I use a very thin layer of brightening concealer under my eyes, I set it with Laura Mercier secret brightening powder (made especially for the eye area) & I blot that area as need throughout the day. Try the Maybelline lash discovery in waterproof on the lower lashes only. & waterproof liner, you can even brush a tiny amount of setting powder under &/or on top of your liner to create a "barrier" so it doesn't smudge. I don't generally use liner or shadow on my lower lash line or waterline. I typically don't use eye primer either, but that's just me.
Hi Zabrena! I just wanna tell you you're GORGEOUS. So beautiful! Always stay healthy and go to as many dates as possible with your husband! Have a happy day!
I got UNSUBBED!!!! What the???!!!!!
