The only thing I think I forgot to mention in the video was longevity of the shadows, I generally don't have any problems with staying power with most eyeshadows as I use a tacky base on dry lids and once they adhere they kind of don't go anywhere lol… so I guess I'm probably not the best to report on that lol… anyway… decent palette… gorgeous colors, nice pigmentation, surprisingly not powdery for matte shadows… but just decent on the performance… its not a palette I feel like I could rely on to be consistent. I sure hope you fine people of the world found this video helpful.. THANK YOU for watchin' 'n until later… BYE!

I have that eye palette and really like it for an office look. I have been telling myself that I don't need to buy any more lipsticks - especially Tom Ford lipsticks - but I will definitely be ordering that lipstick! So much for willpower. Give kitty a hug for me.

I have to say, this is probably one of my favorite eye looks on you to date. The lipstick is beyond beautiful and you pulled all of the colors together amazingly! Really really beautiful look! I am on my way to go swatch the pallet in stores, hoping it will work a little bit better on my oily lids. Fingers crossed! Thanks again for a great video :-)

Tara i have to say you are one of my favorites to watch when doing looks, hauls , reviews and so on. Def love seeing your gorgeous farm area and animals. This looks like a pretty gorgeous palette, i do enjoy my tarte products. My favorite is the blushes, funny haven't tried many of their lip products yet. And i have never purchased Tom Ford, but that lipstick color :O GORGEOUS!! So it might be my first, just so me color. Much love and blessings xoxo

Your eyes look really beautiful. Here lately I noticed you have not been wearing the eyeliner and your eyes really stand out now. They look more open, wider and beautiful. You have a talent with applying these eye shadows and I love watching your reviews. Love that you always have a demo afterwards. I ordered the Tarte Tartelette from Tarte,and i got a email mail saying it was delivered,but i never got it,i live in a Condo,and the UPS driver just leaves my packages by my door,so i called Tarte,and they sent me another one,i got it within three days,i couldn't believe how quick it came.I was so happy they sent me another one,they were so nice about it to.When i opened it up i couldn't believe how pretty the palette was.i haven't used it yet,because it's my christmas present.This is the first year that i'm really getting into makeup,and so far i spent a small fortune on makeup,i don't know how you girls can afford to buy so much makeup.
This palette has worked well for me, but I use a different kind of base. Love your videos!

I have tried Tarte shadows twice over the last couple years and always found that Tarte Matt shadows are pigmented but extremely difficult to blend. So its not just your dry lids in my experience. :) Thanks for the video! xo

How would you compare this palette to Stila Mind palette? I have been enjoying the Stila Soul palette very much (but Body was horrible). I like the idea of an all matte palette (but not sure if I wanna bite the bullet for the Viseart price tag), so - yea, Tartelette vs Stila Mind? Thanks!

ooohhh I really like that! It reminds me of the LM Artist palette (sort of), in color scheme! LOVE!!! Will def be getting this....I had backed off of Tarte for a while, I really thought it was such a misrepresentation as a makeup company to sell bronze shades as "contour" sticks...whatever! Anyway, they do make one of my fave foundations eva! The Maracuja foundation is AMAZINNNNGGG!
How and what do you use for your bottom lid eyeliner? I like how it looks!
Curious to see what you think of this compared to the It Cosmetics Naturally Pretty palette. I got the It Cos one and found the colors were lacking in intensity and although they swatched beautifully they all looked similar on my eye and kind of blended into mud.
Hi Tara, great video and review on Tarte. I'm not a huge fan of their eyeshadows, but was debating on this one. I think I'll hold out for the Viseart when it's back in stock. The lipstick is stunning on you! Do you have any opinions about the By Terry line? Keep the videos coming! Thanks!

I just ordered this palette & I'm excited to have it & use more matte eye shadows ;-)) this palette is currently on QVC for $36.36 & also comes with a double sided brush! Great deal & initially I was really resisting this palette but after seeing it so much & seeing it for that price i caved ;-)) the price is good until 1/29/15 ... Your welcome all who can get it for $36 instead of $44 ;-))
I love your videos, there's nothing else like them on UA-cam. I always feel bad because I have so much makeup and I can't stop myself from buying more but after seeing your collection videos I don't feel so bad lol Your collection is beautiful though! On another note, were you able to get your hands on the UD Vice LTD palette?

When I apply it, it has been patchy and tuns muddy later when the eye shadow moves from my upper lid to below my crease. I thought that it was because I have somewhat hooded eyes but I used a sample from Mary Kay that my sister gave me the next day and there was no transfer from my upper lid to below my cease and I don't usually have that problem. I think it is because I am applying more product to try to get the patchiness to disappear. I have tried it with my favorite primer Estee Lauder Double Wear and a less expensive a lot stickier and I used with the Mary Kay eyeshadow with much success. Anyway I thought it was just me and my lack of experience with high end eyeshadow, but if this is the way high end eyeshadow works I'll go back to the drug store.

I just bought this palette and I have been trying to find a look for my daughters prom she doesn't wear makeup so I think this will work and put a little gold in the middle of her eyelid her dress is black with a gold and black lace sash.

One more thing, the Viseart sold out unfortunately before I could make a decision on which one. I would love your advice on which one that you would recommend for me. My picture isn't there but I have long blonde hair and blue eyes and I am also 52 yrs old. I am looking at the Semi Sweet from 2 faced, Kat Von D and the Tarte one. I have a 25.00 rebate with Sephora so I have to make a decision by the 15th. I would really appreciate it if you could recommend one of them :) TIA

Hey Tara, did you see the holiday special that Tarte released on QVC. I've been looking at this palette but wondered if it makes sense to get this palette since Tarte's colors seem to be a bit similar in shading, etc. Could you let me know your thoughts please??! I had to have this palette and when I got it, it was nothing but dust. Called Tarte and they replaced it promptly. Haven't tried it yet but I have high hopes.... But I don't think it'll surpass my matte palette by Viseart!!!

Can u plz do a review on the new released eyes on mac palette? I don't own any mac shadows and I've always wanted to try them. They are definitely great value but I am not sure if I wanna make the 99 Canadian dollars investment on one palette especially there are many options like makeup geek, too faced chocolate bar etc. I wanna invest in one great everyday palette tho. Oh boy there have been quite a few lol… but the one that sticks out to me the most is the Viseart Nude Matte… or either of their mattes palettes I have… I used to really not enjoy matte eyeshadows and I think its because how much trouble I had with them… when I discovered the Viseart mattes shadows it gave me a whole new outlook on wearing mattes… so I guess I'm going to go with that one :D
