That wasn't AboutFace with the horrible foundation, it was Youphoria or Youthphoria.. however you spell it. I haven't bought from GiveMeGlow in yrs. She posted in a makeup group on FB and I got off vibes from her, so I never made another purchase. So glad my intuition is still steering me in the right direction. I'm so sry you have to deal with the bs Tina. It's disgusting that it still goes on.

That was ridiculous what Shroud did. I don’t care about her personal problems because she’s not someone I know. I only care about having the confidence that when I buy from a brand that I won’t be ghosted or not receive my items. They have beautiful shadows but I’ll never buy from them again because the trust is gone.

Sydney Grace is my favorite eyeshadow brand. Their eyeshadow’s are better than Natasha Denona to me.
I’ve never worked with Sydney Grace but I do showcase them often on my Instagram page and UA-cam channel. We ended up talking through DM a couple year’s back and I could honestly say, they are sooooo freaking nice and respectful. They’ve sent me thing’s before but they NEVER asked me to show or do a video of the thing’s they’ve sent me. It’s more of a friendship gift when they would send me thing’s. I was talking about Sydney Grace for year’s before we even started talking. I honestly don’t feel they’re intentionally not showing darker skin women. I think it’s more of who talks about them and let’s be honest, there’s very few black creators that talks about them but I also know a couple of African-American creators that SG send PR to and that Sydney Grace show on their IG stories with different eyeshadow looks. 💜
You’re the reason how I know about Sydney Grace and I was excited and happy for you when you got your collaboration. That’s why I brought multiple of your eyeshadow palettes and gifted them to women I know, to support you and support Sydney Grace. 💜
Sydney Grace really are so nice!! On IG they've been able to send me comparison swatches by dm when I've needed to decide which shade to go for. 🥰

@@kayla4702 Yes!!! Sydney Grace will do that for you and there’s not many brands that will do that. I know a couple of indie black owned brands that won’t even answer your dm or email you back if your order was messed up. One of the black owned indie brands is going out of business now. I can’t say I feel sorry for them because how rude they’ve been to me and their other customers. 🤦🏽♀️
It’s tiring when blacks stick up for black indie brands when they’re doing wrong but be so quick to call out the white indie brands for petty stuff. I’m not necessarily talking about Tina but I do see it done a lot in the beauty community.

I still have so many OG palettes that you out me on to like the KVD you mentioned so many decluttered and naked and viseart are still faves. You are so right about the drops were so exciting being spread out. Tfs. You still have an amazing collection lady. 😊❤
Shroud did have great color stories! I wanted Moonfall. I have the old OE Norn’s and I’d love to upgrade to the new one! It’s so pretty.
Arcana is the Shroud palette that I have a major crush on, as well as a few of the singles from Moonfall... I wish I could trust the brand enough to buy those while they're currently on sale, lol

I have a deep love of eyeshadow and I honestly do mine as my daily self care practice. Even if I don't do my complexion products, I'll always do eyes, lips, and cheeks. In a mix of mostly bold, sometimes neutral. Lol. I can understand how that's not for everyone, though. 😊
I still have the Urban Decay Smoked palette 🎨 w/the double ended liner and ten neutral Basquait w/ the brush!! Thanks …. I just pulled them both out!!!

Terrible hearing about GMG practices with black influencers. It was so cool seeing the drawer of cool packaging and history of how some of these brands were great before. I agree, some of these brands have run their course.
The UD Smoked palette was my very first high end palette. I loved the Mushroom shadow, a great neutral taupe. Look forward to seeing which singles you keep.
Urban Decay Born To Run is my all time favorite. Tarte Sweet Shop, & the original Two Faced Chocolate Bar😂❤

Low key I still wear OG Naked have 4 backups and hope they rerelease it. I have all the OG Viseart Clamshells too and wear them all the time for the simple look paired with a UD Moondust stunning! Fun trip down memory lane
Hi there! Just a suggestion for the Melt Impulsive palette, Melt's palettes are magnetic like colourpop so I depotted my Impulsive into a smaller more compact magnetic palette. That way I can still enjoy the beautiful colors without the incredibly bulky packaging. Loved your declutter 😍

Hey Tina! Have you ever thought of taking the time to catalog all of your pallets in an Excel spreadsheet with pictures to correspond so you can reference your collection? I know that may sound like too much work and completely nerdy but it would be a great reference tool 🤷🏽♀️ just a thought- always enjoy these videos

So i did end up getting the Dark Academia from Shroud and it's GORGEOUS. beautiful quality just like all her other palettes. I did wait till the owner emerged from whatever she was going through and it arrived a week after i ordered it. I feel really bad for all the people kept in the dark waiting for months. That sucks. and i ALSO love violet voss. it's not revolutionary crazy shimmers and pigments but it works and it's beautiful and makes me feel beautiful. Even when i don't think a palette will work, like it doesn't have enough depth range or it looks too light for me, somehow it still look really pretty. I'm kinda rooting for them not to go out of business.

Good declutter Tina. I’m wishing you a peaceful and easy move. All I have from Give me Glow is a couple of their magnetic palettes. I used to want Haunted Pumpkin but always talked myself out of it. I will no longer support the brand. They seem like a soon to be flop anyway

I have the Smoked palette still! I just don't use it anymore.
It wasn't About face. Halsey who is half black herself has always made sure her foundations were for everyone, not just those who are white. She has one of the best color range from those with medium to darker skintones.

Yaaaas ma’am for the truth, and the declutter of palettes and the truth. These indie brands are not as clean as they portray and I’m side eyeing SG as well for not collaborating with women of color. I see it and I don’t like it.

I’ve got your back no Give me glow for me! Where’s the girl code? All creators should stick together. But I know for sure Sydne Grace does have all skin times on their IG,FB,UA-cam ect. I’ve seen them. There’s reeks of all different skin tones.
No Jacqueline Hill brought companies down because she’s greedy individual. No ethics no code of honor shame on her! Look into the true situation with her and makeup geek. SHe knew ahead of time to have Loop holes, when folks can’t take you at your word….shame!! How do you say this I raise my kid character is what you do with no one’s watching… if you can pull off greed & laugh it off… shame
