    • @dgax65
      @dgax65 3 роки тому +2

      @@FreedomStencils I get that. I'd just like to see how you approach some of these more detailed patterns. Multicam is fairly detailed, but your stencils and technique provide a pretty good rendition. Some of the newer commercial and military patterns look like they can't be replicated with just the use of positive stencils. I think you could produce a fairly decent replication, but it would take the use of positive and negative stencils or hand detailing.

    Can you explain the gradients a little more? Where are you spraying it? The front, rear, top or bottom of a shape?

    • @FreedomStencils
      @FreedomStencils  3 роки тому

      No problem. So basically you are just making the shapes look like they fade out behind one another. So the gradients are completely random. Just a little here and there wherever you feel like tossing them.

    • @FreedomStencils

Good prep will definitely make a difference for durability. Yes, we recommend still doing the base coat of Black over the well prepped surface. It should bind well, and the additional coats or colors should bite to it. Hope this helps.

    • @FreedomStencils
      @FreedomStencils  Рік тому

      We recommend flash curing between coats for 5-10 minutes at about 180 and saving the big cure for the end. The stencils can handle flash cures. They will become pliable and the edges will begin to roll when exposed to extended heat which is nice at the end to assist in removal!
