Hi, many of you have criticized me and commented that there is no picture of the final result. First let's start with the title, this is a video tutorial to create the stencil! Second, it would be enough to open the description to see that a link is there and connects directly to the photos of the finished rifle! So dear unpleasant commentators start to open your eyes! I also confirm that the background song was made by me, it sucks, I know :-), but it should not even be the center of the video (next time I will mute it), in which, REPEAT, was made for show the only realization of the stencil! thank you all! however, I thank you all, because constructive criticisms help us improve!
Thanks to everyone for the support… and if anyone has suggestions or ideas to propose I will make them for you (time permitting). This tutorial was born from a discussion between me and a friend of mine, challenging me gave me the opportunity to grow and thank you !!
This is such a cool and unique idea for a stencil, the way you can fold it around the objects you are painting is very convenient. The final pattern looks great too.
You may not get this, but this is a great tutorial! I actually really like the music cause it reminds me of a show I used to watch called how's it made so it's very appropriate for this video.
Awesome...! I've spent weeks looking for the easiest way to do camo painting. You nailed it. Criticized...yeah for easygoing and dumb people who haven't realized this is the easiest way among several other good ideas, but not the optimal one for camo designing and painting. God bless you, Matteo!
Your idea was excellent. The tutorial speaks by itself. Don't even worry about those envious people. They probably don't have enough brains to do what you did. The video is outstanding. Thanks man.
✌️✌️✌️🇨🇦 great video on stencil making !!! But the painting and music was pure awesomeness😍Iove it all. Superb!...and let haters hate....they are jealous😉✌️✌️✌️cheers🇨🇦
Awesome job and idea ,I build model tanks and other military vehicles and this is gonna be awesome and a lot better than trying to hand paint or even airbrush, camo patterns are really hard to pull off free hand either way. Thanks again
As I mentioned 8 monthes ago, I was concerned with the WD residue and I did receive feedback on this concern. One of the remarks was to use a silicon cookie sheet and this got me to thinking. I am now using the very paper thin cutting boards (sheet style) that can be rolled up and taken camping. I have tried Emers glue and Titebond construction glue, both work great and easy to peel off the sheet. Emers is alot cheaper. This video has made camo painting items extremely easy. Be creative with the designs.....THANK YOU Matteo for the ideas.
Scott Gorman I see my idea like it! it's simple and cheap .. but there's a guideline on how to make the stencil. the residues on the stencil just dry them, among other things just paint them once to eliminate any remaining trace.
Cool idea! I usually just get a handful of fern leaves from a flower bed for stencils, but the flexibility of this and its ability to be shaped to objects is great!
Nice idea I have done this with hot glue on warm glass. Another stencil I like to use is handy wipes reusable rags non woven it can be cut with random holes then fraying the edges of each hole this is a technique I learned in military model building it works well cause the small hole in the wipes expand when you cut between the holes into random patterns. Depending on the size this is very scalable. Try pam as a release agent for your stencils. Wd-40 didn’t work for me plus I stock Pam for glass bedding
I worked at NIC making and spraying cerakote with many different Vinyl stencils. This is an amazing technique and extremely customizable. I plan on trying this myself the clear plastic is a good idea as you can put different designs underneath of it in trace them with the glue ticket different patterns. Supper cool vid!
Thanks for the great idea! I'm currently repainting a 2-man ladder treestand and wanted to do some camo. I was struggling with how to do it since it's only 1" square tubing. I've now made a flexible stencil thanks to you. I'm also going to spray it with some small plants and grasses to give it even more depth. Thanks again!!!!
Matteo, after reading through the comments I made another. I ruined the first trying to get the oil off of it when I really should've just gave it a light paint coating. I also want to say the comments inspired me to try another method. I made another using a hot glue gun on aluminum foil. I didn't coat it with oil and it wasn't too difficult to remove, just took some patience. It's more rigid but will also be more durable. I'd highly suggest it for flat pieces that you want to work fast with. Thanks again for inspiring me!!!!!
I love this idea if you want something that you can't find on the Internet. The money spent on the supplies for this is the same amount you would pay for stencils. Thanks for the awesome video and idea!!!
So I tried this out. AWESOME here is some tips Instead of a folder, dollar store cutting mats work, don’t use the smooth/shiny side, after wd-40 it just ran off. I used glue and Mod Pog dimensional magic. Both worked good, Mod Pog seemed a bit stronger. I make one about every day, just to see what I can come up with.
Thanks for a great idea, and showing how to achieve a good result with minimum materials. This is definitely going to be done on a prop item i am making.
great idea, I've been using a vinyl cuter and I can download the camo art but the vinyl is somewhat pricey to just use once I'm going to try and download some art and overlay the plastic and try the glue and also some silicone . I belong to a local gun club and have done about 60% of the members. Starting a round of arctic camo now and this will help. thanks for a great idea.
Looks very nice. The idea with the paper glue is great. Still my feeling is that the last stencils create to sharp borders. Maybe a second round with the paper glue stencil would have made it all smoother. Anyway: thanks for sharing!!!
Thank you Matteo for sharing this gr8 idea, I have made several of your glue stencils and the paint jobs the 7yr old grandniece has done on old toys, bike helmets is pretty cool
A stencil made From Elmers Glue?? ... Now that right there is a person who has the ability to think Outside of the BOX!! can't wait to see your system assembled.!!
Great technique, but I was looking forward to seeing how it all would come together. I had hoped to see your painted gun assembled. Thanks for sharing your great idea.
With all the BS content on youtube this is by far the first creative video I’ve seen in years. I do like how the thinner glue looks versus the wide portion. It being flexible is a plus and can be used more than once.
Thanks! This is the simplest and coolest way I've seen yet! I love the idea. I've don't some with mostly weeds and leaves that does look pretty awesome but it's very time consuming and if you try to use them more then a couple times paint will drip and ruin the whole thing making it take even longer. Also if you wait for them to dry you can't use them again either. Weeds a leaves do work but definitely not as good as this seems to work. I wonder if wood glue would work until I can get some paper glue lol.
Another way to make stencils is to use a laminator, you can either print out the details and laminate/cut it or just laminate the sleeve and cut shapes out of it....it’s also resistant to paint, one wipe and it’s clean
Hey bro, I would love to see the finished product on the rifle itself. But other than that sick video music and all. Very creative and gave me some ideas for a few of my rifles. Don’t let the haters get you down!! 👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🤘😝🤘
I just use Wax Paper to make the stencils. Works fine. Just be patient taking it off.... be gentle and you won't have any problems! At about 1¢ for a 12" x 12" piece, it's hard to beat.

Rule #1: NEVER post anything on the internet. You're going to upset someone...that doesn't know you...probably....
The entire video was legit bro, good shit. Let the haters hate
Hey man.. really cool video, music and all, don't let them get to you

What a F'ing GREAT IDEA!! You win the Nobel Peace Prize for Camo Technology of 2022!!

This guy is a craftsman and I for one would pay good money for a him to do a quality job like this for me! Two thumbs up! 👍👍
Ho! Thanks! You can see my works on blackappletattoo.com Page: aerografie

At first I though you were making a flower. I was like, "What?" You are pretty talented. Thanks for sharing.
holy cow - i've been doing something similar but love how you kept it all together. this is GENIUS and i odn't say that lightly well done!
I know this is a really old video but thank you. I started making different patterns and such for certain things and works amazingly.

Kudos for coming up with the technique. I think the smaller the model, the harder it can be to use stencilling.

@@dwalker26101use parchment paper it peels right off better than aluminum foil
thanks for the stencil idea but stayed for the painting skills...very nice job. made that look easy.
Rotating base ..NOT .. Just for barbecues , but the mans shed also.. great idea 😎🇦🇺👏👏👍👍

Best looking camo job I've seen on here
FANTASTIC idea!!! I will use this to help my grand-daughters paint their rifles. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!
The end result is a very tasteful camo effect. Nice one.
This video is absolutely genius.
Thanks for a great idea, and showing how to achieve a good result with minimum materials. This is definitely going to be done on a prop item i am making.
Outstanding work !!!! Well done. Extremely professional looking !!
thanks. i like your way of stenciling over anything else i've found.

Thanks Matteo for showing us this technique . I will use this soon.
Very impressive stencil design and construction, seems very stout yet pliable. Well done.
Been wanting to camo my ar but was just a lil too scared until I seen this video. Fantastic! Best video yet.
Wow! Looks great man. I can see this isn’t your first time painting a rifle. Nice work man.
Thinking outside the box.
That is awesome. I'm definitely trying that... Thanks.
Slick A.F. Elmers glue, dried, copious amounts of imagination. Ty for this.
Wow! What a dynamic shift from printed stencils!
Well done.
Absolutely awesome! Sorry to keep repeating that word, but wow. Best self designed camo, period!
That's absolutely amazing !!...who knew you could do that with glue and wd40?....you sir are a genius !!!
I did not expect that to end up looking so good.
Looks very nice. The idea with the paper glue is great. Still my feeling is that the last stencils create to sharp borders. Maybe a second round with the paper glue stencil would have made it all smoother.
Anyway: thanks for sharing!!!
I was thinking of the same thing. Having the base layer be the darkest might have helped too.
Having a second glue stencil overlapping the first would have looked better in my opinion
@@MrTopflight29 Sounds good too.

Very cool idea for stenciling. I am sure I will use this idea in the future.
With all the BS content on youtube this is by far the first creative video I’ve seen in years. I do like how the thinner glue looks versus the wide portion. It being flexible is a plus and can be used more than once.
SimplyOrange537 these are the characteristics I was looking for. thanks for appreciating them!
Just what I’ve been looking for! I thought you might be able to make stencils with glue and there you are. Thanks, I’m on it.
This is just an awesome way to make a stencil. Very smart of you. =)
Thank you!
So you're telling me just because you don't have that setup he shouldn't post his videos?
aaron smith how did you get that from the OP?
Terrific idea! The final result photos are awesome. Thank you!

That’s brilliant cuz I’ve been looking at my local environment, wondering how to capture that in camo. This is perfect!
I appreciate your time in making this video,
Thank you very much
You are a gentleman and a scholar! That is awesome!
Hey man, great idea. I made one with just PVA glue and it turned out great.
Rhino's Outdoors Pva glue is good .. it's like the one I used.
Oh wow. Thanks for the almost instant reply. Respect.
I´ve never seen a stencil made like this. Nice.
Man this is the best stencil ever! My AR looks outstanding now thanks to you! 👍
Clever idea with the glue. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome mate, gonna do this for a FABA kit I just got for the Warwick
One of the best videos about camo paint.
I'm going to use your idea, but using polyester resin
Best I’ve seen so far gonna try it
That was incredibly creative. Totally doing that!
The beat is fine🙂but yeah I'd like to see the rifle on this video, Camo looks good👍Thanks 🇺🇸
Your actualy a smart person for coming up with that!
Sundizzle Bhambizzle-Bazzle thank you man!
This is awesome, thanks for this. I'm going to try this for some keyboards I'm going to paint.
Would have liked to have seen the rifle put together.

Rick Everton thanks man!!! I love airsoft and I love to create weirds camouflage 😉
Of all the camou tutorial this is the best of the best brother Oh My God man
Incredible idea man, I did it with silicon and it works very good also
Ima do this to a green bicycle that has small rust spots here and there, thanks for the idea, I dig it.
damn thats so cool better than all other videos. i have tried on my own looked okay..........
So happy I found this video
Don't forget to thoroughly clean the stencil to get rid of any trace of WD40 or whatever release agent you used.
Obviously I did not think there was need to write it. My stencil has dried in the heat for a few days before using it.
Its pretty apparent he knows what hes doing ,no?
andrew l - for sure, but I think his comment was for the viewers who intend to try this
@@BrockNessMonster1991, I found using wax baking paper doesn't require wd40
TheRoadhammer379 - thank you!
Spinning table - awesome idea dude
The best way for tiny things ;-)
Wow sweet nice trick I like it ! I always just spreat it tan w rustolium camo then streaks of brown and then just sand w steel wool
That's the best DIY I've seen..
Would have never thought of doing that…. Damn good idea!
This is great. So glad I found it! Great job. And thank you. EXACTLY WHAT I EAS LOOKING FOR

It's cool. You want larger patterns to break up an outline. At a distance, that pattern bleeds together and makes a general shade of color.
What kind of distance? How large a patten can you get on a 2" red dot?
Dude.... this looks amazing. Ty
man. You are smart :) I like this idea than cutting the paper
Sorry you received some bad comments from a few individuals. Most of us think the video is awesome. Thanks for sharing.
pretty clever idea. cheap and easy
