- The price I paid for a 2023 Scamp 13 ft with options included. Also what I paid in taxes, registration and the cost of a hitch and wiring (Uhaul) for the van.
I enjoy hearing the details and your thought process.
I paid $24,000 for a 2023 13' Standard Scamp with front bathroom. Many upgrades including air conditioning , awning etc. So figure $24 grand for a decent upgraded model.
Where else can you get a home, all expenses totalled in , for 25,000?? Great investment in yourself and lifestyle, Cindy.

A 13 x7 box is not a home, nor is $25,000 some incredible deal for a 91 sq ft fiberglass container

Hi, Cindy! What a lovely surprise to see you have posted a new video so soon after the previous one. It is a good idea to deal with the cost of the Scamp and all the possible extra options that can go with it. I think taking the option of the air conditioner was a very wise idea as you have the cats to think of when it gets very hot.
It is nice to see you being so enthusiastic about your new home on wheels. It must be such a big change from being in your van, all the additional space you have gained must be great.

smart choice on the electric brakes. much safer. btw, tank monitors means the monitor so you can see how full your gray tanks is, fresh water, etc. How do you like towing so far? i have decided to keep my mirrors bc i actually am getting a truck camper!! it's been suggested i keep them. i am having a backup camera installed on the camper and they said they can fix it so i can see what is behind me while driving too.
Isn't it always the way. Everything goes up except my ability to pay for it.

I bought my 2014, no bath, awning and AC. It was $12,500. You got a lot of upgrades and options so seems like the prices aren’t much more.

that was a bit expensive - but I guess you were wanting something to travel and not have problems with it.
I like second hand type trailers and things so that it cuts the cost down. The way people do up these small trailers is really interesting to see - if you get a chance have a look at older ones done up to look new again.

I think a near loaded with everything no bath standard interior one 13’ is $17900. That was 2022. Every option. 25k is hard to swallow!

@@djkenny1202sorry dude, you have no idea what your talking about. I just spoke to the company last week, and have current pricing literature. Base price on a 13 ft scamp no bathroom is 19,421, that's a fact
How did you decide which trailer to chose? Not the size but model? Did you look at casita? Or any other brands?
Hi Heather! Casita doesn’t have 13 ft trailers anymore, so since I wanted fiberglass, Scamp was the only affordable one. I didn’t need the bathroom and preferred the sofa model.
