Yeah but who wants to respect boomers. I will respect someone from the traditional generation but a fucking boomer. Go fuck yourself.
This is honestly my favorite movie of all time. Have watched it almost 200 times
No actor/comedian could have played Buford T Justice like Jackie Gleason. According to Burt Reynolds; Jackie adlibed many of his lines and consulted throughout the movie at the request of Burt.
+Tarn Sand Not a bit surprised, and that made the movie so much better!
+Tarn Sand Too bad the sum bitch smoked 5 packs a day :/
Junior: [waiting for the "funeral procession] Damn, he had a lot of friends, didn't he?
Buford T. Justice: If they'd a cremated the sum-bitch. I could be kickin' that Mr. Bandit's ass around the moon by now.
Rest in peace
AMEN !!!! May he R I P .....
J.W. pepper is the only one who could come close. But yes I agree.
Burt Reynolds may have been billed as the star of this film, but Jackie Gleason stole this movie. They don’t make them like this anymore.
Definitely some of his best work
My dad and I have had this conversation. Jackie Gleason made the movie.
He improvised alot of these lines hes saying here
Yeah man, I remembered when I first saw the films. Jackie Gleason was and is the only person in this movie who could make me laugh until my guts hurt.
Agreed, he's one funny sumbitch!
Man I’ve seen this movie a thousand times and can quote the whole movie…
Beaford T Justice is a legend and hero! Lol He was the most decated lawman in american history. He chased bandit through like 5 states. Oh to mention he might have had a quarter panel of his patrol car left after it was all set and done! Lol. I love this movie.
97 people must have had their asses barbecued in molasses!
now it's 103
Scott Dunigan Well, it has been over a month since I posted. :)
+vccstudents 103 wankstains. lol.
+Rex's Channel 105 a holes now
+Rex's Channel damn right
My favorite is when he goes in to get a Diablo burger and turns and asks Jr. If he wants anything. Jr says, yeah I want some hush puppies daddy. Buford said, we ain’t got no time for that shit. One of the best movies ever.
The gentleman who played junior was a great number 2 man to Jackie Gleason. They made a great comedy duo.
Was also a guard in original Longest Yard. Played football
Everytime I watch this movie I laugh my ass off. Jackie Gleason was the best . Rip Mr Gleason.
They didn’t have to use anything but were funny as hell rip all of you!
JG, WAS THE GREATEST, just like he said all the time
Who the shit would call their child Buford!
One of the funniest bastards to ever live. Classic shit.
Brian Viera The GREAT ONE !!!!!
This reminds me of my grandpa. Watched this at his house as a tot in the 80s/90s and loved Gleason every bit. What a great time!
I may no longer be a part of this world but I’m STILL in HOT pursuit!!!
How could someone give this a thumbs down?!? It's classic Jackie Gleason!
Probably a frustrated L/winger lol cause it is classic.
Sonny Wright That or they've had an experience on Craigslist where they actually HAD their ass barbecued with molasses...
LOL!!!!
Mama didn't nurse them when they were 5.
Smokey and The B. when movies were movies.
Buford T. Justice is one of the most underrated movie villains ever. RIP Jackie Gleason.
I think a better word is "antagonist". Villain would have to be an evil character and I wouldn't really call him evil.
I'd say futurist. Power abusive cops, who knew.
I wouldn't say villain.
Fuck you mean he made the movies what they are,
This guy was different he had the kind of aura that someone like John Wayne or Clint Eastwood has there will never be another one like him
Gleason's comment at 02:31 must have garnered a big laugh from amongst his fellow performers, in their industry.
He should have gotten an Oscar for that role.
I can't believe he wasn't nominated for an Academy Award for this role
Makes me think about my dad. He loved quoting ol Buford. You Mooseprick! Love it.
Sumbitch! , pile of monkey nuts,
I’m gonna barbecue your ass and molasses!
This is funny 😆
"Hold up on that car wash gentlemen". Great opening line...
Jackie Gleason was a tremendous artist, and he killed it in the Smokey series.
Only in the original
So he's been chasing the same guy from state to state & is stood right next to him in a restaurant & doesn't even realize it's him, always gets me every time 😁😁😁😁
"Nice ass."
I lose it everytime.
let me have a dr pepper and a diablo sandwich and make it fast Im in a ......................
@Lance - "Nice ass." It's been so long since I heard it that way I had forgotten about it. I guess the last few times I've seen this movie was on TV and he says, "Nice lady."
Let me have a diablo sandwich and a Dr.Pepper and make it fast, I'm in a goddamn hurry
Oh my god I need to rewatch this again
I've been in stitches for the whole video 😂
"Daddy, the top came off!"
Junior's stupidity was perfect.
"you sounded a little taller on the radio"
I remember it "You sounded a little whiter on the radio."
I remember Jackie saying “ a lot whiter’ as well. Nobody believes me!
Jd that was the joke, it was a way to say the sheriff sounded like a white sheriff, without making it a “racist” joke! I’ve gotten a few double takes after showing up to a job interview after an initial phone call. I too sound “taller” on the phone! 😉
he he what the hell is da world comin to
your going away till your grey I got the evidence put the evidence in the car@@bobbymoore3436
4:30 "For some reason or another you sounded a little TALLER on radio." LMAO!
Junior had no problem throwing that heavy door in the backseat 😂
Without question, Buford T Justice is one of the single greatest bit part roles in the history of cinema. Jackie Gleason is a legend.
Bit part? Not by a longshot. Big and Little Enos could be considered as bit parts.
Jerry Reed gets beat up by a motorcycle gang at a bar after one claims his dog bit him. Then Jerry destroys all their motorcycles with his 18 wheeler. That still gets me every time.
Same here. Old "Cleetus" bruised up from his beat down by the bikers slowly gets in his cab. Cranks the engine. Peers ahead. A sly grin comes across his face. Then he drives his 18 wheeler over the parked cycles.
:)
Yep! And that Glowing Smile is why they called him The Snow Man! Hahahahaaa!! Classic movie all the way through!
Jerry Reed had the last laugh
“Far Out” 😅
I did the same thing for real in Texas about 14 years ago. I was jumped by some young thugs. Because of my sticker on my truck. I got a 12000.00 dollar fine. But it was worth every damn penny. As a V. P of a club. We respect other peoples right. to any patch or stickers. But we can voice our opinions.. We will not fight 15 on 1. That's a bunch of punk ass bitches.. I'm still free to fly any flag or any sticker I want to.
All my Pop needed to say to me when I was a kid and would do something wrong is, "Ain't no way... No way..."
And I would fill in the rest. 😂🤣😂🤣
Rest in peace Burt and Jackie, thank you for the wonderful movies and entertainment. You will be missed and never forgotten. 😢
no one can pull this off the way Jackie does, it was him all the way, a true comedian and one we miss
"She insulted muh authoritah"
some of the best cursing ever!!
Shut your ass!
When comedy legends refer to you as "The Greatest" well... that about says it all.
#oneofthesedaysaliceoneofthesedays
Jackie Gleason said this was the most fun he ever had in his career, he said he really was Sheriff Justice, it was his inner personality, he also said it was hard for the film crew to not crack up and laugh on set, Gleason was allowed to ad-lib, a great deal of his lines, he said the scripts were not very funny but that he could fix it to where they would be funny, boy could he,.
"For some reason or another, you sounded a little taller on radio"... lol
what the hell is the word coming to
muckerwood Hey boy where's sheriff branford?
Classic
