Same with my father. Time is something they should teach us we have very little of. But then depending on how you were raised, you might have. Freedom is everything. And it makes us lose a lot of time enjoying our selfish needs. Then one day, it all comes to an end.

It hurt hearing it lol
@@TheDiabethick I doubt
The smile on the Madam's face when Buford makes the suggestion to the Captain about the badge is priceless!
I love that movie. I could watch it all night.
Coming from a guy who don't like country music. This is a classic song. Great movie 👍
Rest In Peace Burt Reynolds💔💔💔
R.I.P. To A True Legend
Rest in peace to the one and only Burt Reynolds he will be missed💜i a true icon.
RIP a great legend
Rest in peace Burt Reynolds & Jerry Reed 💯
He died
Still gettin goosebumps when the tune starts
One of the best car movies of all time.
Glad I seen this New as A Kid,, I Know Dam Well I'm not the only One who has to Watch this every Yr,,, 10/4 Good Buddies
One of my favorite scenes ever. Trucker community is legit and I respect it!
This movie and this scene will always hold deer in my heart. I used to watch this movie with my dad and mom right before we would go on vacation. And the whole drive to our hotel I'd jam to East Bound and Down.
who remembers watching this movie on tv back in the day when they replaced "sumbitch" with "scumbum"
yeah they did!
Yeah, it wasn't the same on network TV after seeing the uncut version on Showtime. But mores were different in those days. You couldn't say a lot of things that you can now. NYPD Blue and Blue Bloods would never have gotten away with the stuff they said on those shows.
And it was the voice of the guy who did Fred Flintstone!
also "Im gonna barbecue your head in molasses" and "spot them long limbs" lol
Replaced nice azz with nice lady
When I was a child I watch this movie over and over and I always dream of becoming a truck driver when I go on the New Jersey Turnpike and I drive by trucks I still think of the snowman and I still think of how awesome those trucks are. Love this movie!!!
Every time I hear this song when I'm on the road, it's very relaxing.
How can you not smile watching this? Brings me back to a great time.
My dad had this on Betamax cassette. If you were born in the 70's you'll know what I'm on about lol.... Great film, great times👍
Jackie Gleason should’ve won the Oscar for this. Absolutely brilliant performance
Deffo! Such a brilliant character actor, love every scene he us in! Xxxxxxx
Miss Burt Reynolds, he was so fun! Loved Smokey and the Bandit!
2021. still loving this movie. Seen it several times. Still makes me lol and the trick w/ trucks always put a smile on my face
It's in selected theaters for 1 more day.
Some of the most memorable times of my life as a kid going to see these old movies at the drive in theaters with my dad.
Amazing how much better this looks watching it in HD vs the VHS and DVD versions I've watched for over 20 years.
It may look better but they should have never messed with the car's iconic tones. Sounds like a 20 year old Toyota 4 banger with a miss.
@@piedpiper8355 Yeah I don't know why they changed the sounds. The Trans Am in the original film sounded totally amazing! It was dubbed but still was awesome. Why they would change it after 40+ years is a mystery. I'd like to know what vehicle they recorded the original sounds from that were used in the 1977 film
It's the film scan. 35mm film will scan to 4k.
@@piedpiper8355 Nope. That was the era of low compression with mild cams and near the end of the big blocks.
He drive a Trans Am in heaven. The best Movie in the World. Tank you from a German truck driver. I love Amerika and his greatest Trucks 👍👍👍💋💋💋
They don't make movies like they use to
You can even say that about today's movies 20-30 years from now.
True
Nope and they never will

Sad but true.
I literally said that a millisecond before reading this comment.
Sally Fields smile after Burts iconic laugh at 3:43 is so real ...That wasn't acting ..she had just as much fun making this movie as we all.did watching it back then!!
Classic Movie !!!!
This has to be the most american movie ever made. And I love it.
Most wholesome cop chase ive ever seen LMAO "its little beaver we got your back door"
My favorite movie in the world ever since I was little!
This is definitely the best of the 3 movies. And thanks to all those truck drivers out there, you are my inspiration. Thats when truckers were king
Remember...If you bought it, a truck brought it!
@@lightningblue648, that's a big 10-4.
I remember watching this movie with my grandpa and it was one of best memories i have with him.
Hello my friends out there I am Keith Dalton yazzie Jr and I was the one who went head to head with a snowman
I love that my parents showed me this movie when i was little ❤
That scene is where I learned the rocking chair trick. I was west bound I-84 heading to Portland with some issues in a 18 wheeler coming up on the scales at Cascade locks, Oregon . I slipped back in the convoy about 8 trucks back and came up on the scales which where open. They Red Lighted the first three trucks which jammed up the scales and they green lighted the rest of us👍👍😁😁I put the hammer down and west bound to Portland 😎
(We got us an outlaw here.) 😉😈😬
BS
My favorite part of the movie with the beautiful ladies and the convoy. Thanx for posting this.
My dad took me to see this movie when it was recently released. I was 9 years old. I loved it more than Star Wars.
Burt Reynolds in Smokey and the Bandit is one of the all time masculine heroes. Absolute legend.
I've grown up watching this movie and after several thousand times watching this movie it's memorized in my head word for word
I miss watch the Bandit with my mom... we loved all of his movies
Same with my father. Time is something they should teach us we have very little of. But then depending on how you were raised, you might have. Freedom is everything. And it makes us lose a lot of time enjoying our selfish needs. Then one day, it all comes to an end.
This movie almost defines the "good ol boy" genre! So much fun packed in one film you can't help but like it.
They don't make movies like this anymore.
Interesting to see they re-mixed this as the audio track is not the same as the original film or VHS or DVD releases of the early 2000s. There wasn't nearly that much trombone in the soundtrack originally.
I knew that something was different. And... The good ol boys are an extinct breed today...
One of the greatest movies of all time
It's 1 of Universal's BEST movies.
One of the best movies of all time. Why aren't movies this good anymore?
Too much focus on "the message."
If they remade this the Bandit would be black and Frog would be trans.
They are, you're just watching the wrong ones or too busy complaining to care.
I must have watched that movie for ten times with big bro (may he rest in peace 😪) and I loved every moment of it.
“This is not a convoy this is a dream!”Rest In Peace Burt and jerry
And Jackie :(
I don't remember Burt dying and I could have
E sworn Schwazanegger died years ago but that the result of cause and effect of the Borrestein BEARs theory
And fred :'(
Right on
