    Cool info about Ribeye Steak
    A rib steak is a beef steak sliced from the rib primal of a beef animal, with rib bone attached. In the United States, the term rib eye steak or Spencer steak is used for a rib steak with the bone removed; however in some areas, and outside the U.S., the terms are often used interchangeably. The term "cowboy ribeye" or "cowboy cut" is often used in American restaurants for a bone-in rib eye. The rib eye or "ribeye" was originally, as the name implies, the center best portion of the rib steak, without the bone.
    In Australia, "ribeye" is used when this cut is served with the bone in. With the bone removed, it is called "Scotch fillet".
    It is both flavorful and tender, coming from the lightly worked upper rib cage area. It's marbling of fat makes it very good for fast and hot cooking. Great for Steak Grilled in an Air Fryer.
    Thanks for your support. God Bless

    Your steak would cook better, if you let the Air frier heat up before throwing the steak in their, also - steak typically takes 3-5 minutes to fully cook inside once you take it off the pan, it would be more tender if you let it rest, otherwise it can get a bit dry and stiff on ya, take care !

      Not true. The air must circulate around the food too cook it. You do have to flip it because the top is going to be hotter than the bottom no matter what.

    Do you consider the airfry method superior to grilling? Does it stay more juicy than grilling? Or does it perhaps taste more like roast beef? Nice video. Thanks.

    • @RANDOMFIX
      @RANDOMFIX  6 років тому +2

      Iso Man, great questions, grilling is awesome when done perfectly, however, the airfryer delivers me more consistent result so you will almost always have a great juicy steak. The only thing I prefer to airfrying is out grilling with wood which can be a lot more time consuming. I used the air fryer earlier today to grill 3 awesome burgers that were done perfectly ( the secret to the best burgers is fat content, get the fatests ground beef 30%). _RandomFix

    You just messed up that steak by adding olive oil! 😫😝 It doesn't need any fat while cooking. Maybe in the last minute of cooking, throw in some cold butter. Or at the beginning of cooking, slather the meat with some Wagyu Beef Tallow. But ditch the olive oil! 😝

    Don't tell people to not pierce the steak and then cut it immediately without letting it rest. It's like telling your kids not to smoke weed and then confessing to having a crack habit. Any meat should be rested at least a third of the cooking time.
