Great stuff. I've compared all 16 other DMB live playing the same song. Nothing like live at MSG. The audience can sing, dance and play. NYC is the best place to see live.
I just keep coming back to this. Dave's band was killing it then Warren just blew the roof off the place, what a way to close a show. I show this to everyone, most don't know Warren, spread the word, they will like you for it. :)
Just me or is the DMB bassist killer great? Love the exceptional musicianship of the band... It was obviously the point from the get go but it still is amazing to listen to them/watch recordings (super cool because there was no UA-cam at the time!) and hear everything that makes them so great still.
What a KILLER performance!! Dave Matthews breaks a string...so what?! They keep jamming!! On walks legendary Warren Haynes who just RIPS up the place. First he lays down the solo like a boss, culminating in a jam with Dave himself. At the end of that jam, warren strolls back to the mic and just belts out the last verse. On the way to the mic, Warren first stops and gives Dave a samaurai style bow, respecting the jam that just happened. This is MAGICAL.

Omg, I remember the string break. He just replaces it like a musician does. Wow, great concert... albeit, quite awhile ago now:)
