Picked it up for $200 on Amazon last week, just waiting for it to ship. By all accounts, this monitor gets reviewed really highly and I’m excited to try it out.
its great, it should not be this good for $200 its crazy.
Huh?? But it’s not on amazon
It’s nice that this monitor isn’t really hyped up online at all. Got this in November last year for 185
yeah it’s kind of a hidden gem for the price
I bought this monitor two days ago , Can’t wait to try it out on some fps games
i like it a lot, hope you enjoy it!
Just picked one up for $150 with various deals and cashback, excited to try it out now
Your side by side comparison (where you juxtaposed a colored screen object) convinced me to buy this monitor. I had a 10 dollar credit so I got it shipped from Dell for 190 dollars. I have one of the fastest computers on the planet (128GB ram), but never thought to get an ok monitor because I only use it for work and sometimes play pacman. Now I see the difference in my work and understand why 1440p is the way to go. Most excellent purchase.
for being $2-300 it’s amazing what you get. it should cost around $4-500 in my opinion.
@@MetraBoyyou found it for 2$!!? too much
"fastest computers on the planet (128gb ram)"
the amount of the ram doesnt make a computer the fastest
@@UnluckyDomino Having my students at MIT build the system with parallel processors does make it pretty fast.
@@rayr4320for being a teacher at MIT your understanding of computers is ridiculously low
It's so cool and amazing how the monitors are connected ❤😂
Just got this a few days ago. Loving it so far
Glad you enjoy it! its great.
How is it in dark environments? Using a 4K benq tn panel looking to upgrade to a budget gaming
@@brandondonovan5545 it does great although I don't like playing in complete darkness and always have some lights on. Not too much light though because it can reflect on the panel and could be annoying
@@Jabvi awesome thank you for the reply
Dell G2724D or AOC Q27G3XMN?
Especially asking for PS5 gaming because the Dell has VRR and the AOC doesn't but the AOC gets much brighter and is mini led.
? Help!
For 1, this monitor gets bright enough i don’t think you need more than 400 nits. and the AOC is a VA panel, which i typically stay away from if im gonna do anything else besides gaming. But if you’re only gonna game then it’s not an issue. it comes down to the panel type and what you’re gonna do with it.
@@MetraBoy actually I am going to do studying and casual working on it.
Don't you think VA Mini led is good for that too? Based on RTINGS, it has awesome score for these type of tasks. The only main difference is the VRR functionality for the PS5
@@mosheargaman9249 VAs just tend to have worse color accuracy and viewing angles, but get great response times and contrast, so they are still great panels in their own way just like IPS is great in others. If vrr is a deal breaker then get the dell but personally i dont use it.
They are very different monitors. If you want HDR then the AOC if not then probably the Dell since it's $100 cheaper
Manufacture Date ? A00 panel or A01 ?
If the monitor was original there should be a sticker in the middle before opening right? So something that indicates it was not opened before.
there was tape, the first second of the video i cut it with red scissors
can you enable the fps counter on this screen ?
I have an issue where it sometimes turns off and on when I start up the pc. It did it in games before, but stopped when I turned off hardware acceleration in the control panel.
that’s interesting, is it still happening?
Hello I am just buying monitor its either this lg 27 gp850p-b or dell 27 G2724D they same price basically dunno which is better?
They both look pretty similar, however the lg is nano ips, which is cool and all but can result in worse contrast compared to the dell. The LG can also go to 180hz if you care about a 15hz difference. Look at some video reviews to get more in depth.
I got this monitor and its a big upgrade from my old tn 75hz monitor for cs2. I have it set to 120hz thi because if i go higher my screen has random flashing artifacts on the screen and idk if its the monitor, gpu or the cable... Im still happy with 120 and dont mind keeping it that way hut its kind of a bummer it has artifacts at higher refresh rates
@@vilmfilm that shouldn’t be happening. Try a different cable and a different port in your gpu if you have one. if none of that works get a replacement
@@MetraBoy my new UGREEN cable arrived and it's fixed. Pro tip, don't buy IVANKY cables and others have also complained about flickering 👍👍
Do you recommend it for coding mostly? Text should not be pixelated
@@septilevg6897 no i did not it was for gaming and regular day tasks. text is not blurry where it’s noticeable
@@MetraBoy so it should be fine for text based work?
What video did you watch for initial setup? I just bought one and wanna make sure I have the best possible settings for fps games
it was a reddit thread that had some good feedback, here it is:

Does this monitor go on sale a lot on Amazon ?
i think i’d does, at least i saw it did
where you take it only for 200 ?
link is in the description
edit: seems like it has gone up to $250
Is this good for cs2? Have ghosting?
First of all, thanks for your review, is this monitor 10 bit or 8 bit? Are you satisfied with the monitor?
it shows me 10 bit in display settings, and i am satisfied with this monitor for the price to performance.
@@MetraBoy To be honest, I'm torn between this monitor and the aw2724dm. What do you think about Aw2724dm? Does it make sense to pay 150 euros more and choose aw2724dm?
@@ibrahimaltnay4033 I don’t think so, 180hz vs 165hz is not a difference anyone can notice. Maybe there’s a chance there’s better colors but the G2724D already has great colors.
This or the M27q (rev 1.0)
Hei! can you confirm the monitor doesn't have any backlight bleeding as well? thanks!
i have have not noticed any black bleed so for myself i can confirm
Cool!!!
Hey, what about ghosting?
ghosting in games is really good, but scrolling on a white page with black text becomes blurry and hard to read. but it’s not that noticeable
Mines got a bit of blue and orange smearing in motion
This Dell has smearing ?
