hello, sorry for the inconvenience, first of all thanks for your reviews which have always helped me, I would like some advice for a monitor. I have a ps5 and a MacBook m1 to connect so I would need at least 2560x1440 120hz (for ps5) and with usb c to connect the MacBook. Which one can you recommend with a budget of 400/500 euros? I have the S2719DGF and S2721DGF and both are good with the 21 version being a little bit better. It has better colors and goes to 165hz while the 19 only goes to 155hz.

Looks like the S2721DGF without the blue lighting in the back. Same specs/ looks, it's the same monitor. S2721DGF is a fantastic monitor, had mine for 3 years now.
Same here I use the S2721DGF and have been looking for a replacement but I’m just so used to it that I’m having a hard time

Are there ANY monitor arms that’ll fit a 6” thick desk? Because of the drawers. Every arm I’ve seen is meant for a table, not a true desk with drawers
Just an update, this monitor does support VRR on the the PS5 since it comes with hdmi 2.1. I must say very impressive monitor all around that too in its price range!

I can't seem to find the Freesync option in the menu despite I have already enabled it on the AMD drivers. Anyone has this problem?

How are you able to put it to 10bit color mode when you also have 165Hz? I had to first put it to 120Hz, to enable 10bit. I have rtx 3070 if it matters...

Is the contrast better on this Dell compared to the LG 27GP850-B or similar monitors?
contrast is above average for ips i believe its around 1300:1 according to pcworld's review; i find the contrast to be exemplary, especially due to the matte-glossy coating.

Hello, I don’t have 10 bits but only 8, can you tell me why? I use DP to USB-C(with laptop Lenovo Legion 5)
Check your nvidia settings, if its a 120 hz monitor, lower it to 75 hz, maybe then you could enable higher color depth.

Just got myself 1. Its the new standard bearer for budget gaming! Cant recommend enough. Still waiting for your G2724D vs M27Q-P side by side comparison tho!

Did it have any backlight bleed
glossy = you cant use dark themes during the day or just with any light in the room ... And its not dim xD, it's already brighter than your wall, and you want monitor to be ~ same brightness as your surroudings for best perceived gamma/color accuracy. It's supposed to look better than 95% of ips with this parameters because of native ~1400:1 static contrast and factory color calibration

Could you please measure the space between the table surface (not the base) and the lower bezel in the highest position?
I measured mine and it's 16.7 cm between table surface and bottom edge of the monitor. I used a measuring tape from a sewing kit.

Thank you for this! Does it support 120hz tho?? Coz many gamers make the mistake of assuming a 165Hz monitor would support all the lower refresh rates like 120hz. That is not the case 😢 It needs to have the specific mode enabled by the manufacturer.
All monitors do, though from what I’ve seen, higher refresh rates make lower refresh rate content not look as good. Though, this isn’t an issue with all monitors, some monitors work better than others. If you are wondering whether this will work well at 120hz on a console, then yes, I’ve heard pretty good things about this monitors from other reviewers ^^

pretty much the same. the Dell has HDMi 2.1 + 2x DP and bleeding is better. I own the 27gp850 and this 2724D. If you're not going to use a console, buy whatever you can get cheaper

true 10bit monitors cost xx.000 and are only video edit only.... the rest is 8+2 simulate
How are the black levels anyone who has it???
It's a bit better than most ips panels on the market, but you can't expect anything amazing from an ips panel.
If contrast is really important to you, you should go for a mini led or oled, but these are much more expensive.
The other option would be to go for a VA panel, although it is not highly recommended for competitive games due to its response times.
@@Veldruk ive only had a gaming laptop which was an IPS and it had amazing blacks with a 1000:1 contrast ratio. I dont know if it being laptop changes anything but its literally my most accurately colored screen. Ive just been optimistic to find a monitor thats the same since an IPS panel is the monitor is the jack of all trades for me

@@Veldruk alright, thanks! I had to return the dell s2522hg yesterday as the darkest black is literally grey as hell. Im worried I'd have to return this if anything, but it seems no one has mentioned a bad contrast ratio.
Also adding i have the surface pro 8: also an IPS, also has great blacks.

@@0xbwill Not for me. The difference is big, especially when you are used to displays with 1.07 billion colours
I have the monitor. 10-bit colour is supported HDR in Windows 11. The video even mentioned it.
