Wow, I think this really captures that lonely feeling of having to drive anywhere early in the morning, let alone the solitude of a trip you make multiple times a week. The real passage of time on the clocks and even moments where that elevator door seems just a bit too slow really made me feel the frustration of all the lost time.
I'm thinking of making a video explaining the composition, and what my intent was, but I don't know how much people would care to know. I like cinema, so it's the type of video I would enjoy, but maybe that's uninteresting to other people.
Documental tratando de exponer tal ves la soledad, estrés, y repetitivo que es el día a día de ir ala escuela. y gran video por cierto, ya tienes un seguidor mas XD
Im glad you made this! I have both these lenses and I want to make a short film i just always get discouraged. I will keep working on it now. Thanks for uploading!! Did you use any LUTS or is this straight out of camera?
Haha nice documentary to look back on 👍 couple questions, kit lens ? True representation of of the time of day / on purpose or best exposure you could get with apsc . Good job 👍 ✌️🤙
Thank you for the kind words. It’ll definitely be difficult to watch once I graduate. These are trying times to say the least. I was using auto iso and auto wb, so I tried color grading and manually adjusting exposure, contrast, shadows, and highlights in post to give the best representation of what it really looked like that morning. I had a quiz at 0930, so I couldn’t spend too much time on any of it.
I should have mentioned. I used the kit lens (the 18-45mm that you can buy with the camera as a package) for the last shot only. The rest of the video was with the 50mm f1.8.
@@rawbsworld6604I know. It’s truly an excellent lens and it’s under $200. I’m going to buy some Meike cinema lenses for a full length film I’m working on at the moment.
Wow! Be using the R50 with em? I’ve often thought how a cine lens would do on a R50 👍 hopefully I’ll stumble across your feature if you post it , good luck on your endeavor ✌️
I also uploaded it in HDR. Both look great on my pc, but this SDR version looks worse because of UA-cam’s compression. Check out the HDR version at ua-cam.com/video/BKekCKju87g/v-deo.html
@@C4Crotona thanks for the kind words. I wish I had more time for it, but school and work eat up most of my time. Maybe when I graduate I’ll have more time to make videos.
I used a tripod, but stability is pretty good with the rf lenses and “advanced” IS in the settings. It does crop when you use IS though, so you’d have to shoot with a 35mm to get the same view as with the 50mm.

I can’t believe how crazy good in lowlight the 50mm lens is! 🔥🔥
Check out the hdr version. It’s even better.

No LUTs. All manual lumetri color settings. I can make a video on how I did it if you’d like. Please let me know when you post so I can see it.
