Thanks again for watching! The loft is handy to reduce the clutter, but the downside is that I need climb up and down on the ladder to water or check on the plants. But then again, I get some exercise doing that...
How do you make your malay apple look so healthy and grow faster? I live in Maryland and have the same plant but its taking like forever to bear new leaves
It likes a warm and bright spot and being potted in well draining medium. I fertilize a little when it's actively growing. Water it when the pot dries out a little.
@@EastsideGardening oh i be putting a whole amount of water to it thts why my plants has leaves falling down. And plus is really cold where i live so i think the air heater is making my plant loose leaves even faster.
@@ninsyenamorado7534 Malay Apples are not easy to take care of. I've lost several during winter when they were all smaller, and this is my only survivor. If yours doesn't make it, you may want to consider Syzygium samarangense, which is a similar fruit, but a little easier to grow in colder climates. Mine are currently growing in the greenhouse, while the Malay Apple isn't. ua-cam.com/video/4EY_WzTX59k/v-deo.html
