I loved riding my Bicycle to the Burschell dairy for an ice cream cone almost every day.. I was just talking about Stop and Go . It was a challenge for North Pocono , young Adults to Race backwards to Stop and Go. . I walked on the tracks from the Trolley over the Iron Bridge that went into Scranton from the bottom of Moosic Street. I remember the Elyphant getting a bath at the Zoo.. Going to Movies at the Comoford Theatre. Shopping at Woolworths. Learning to swim at the YWCA ( recently torn down. ). And the Woodlawn Truck bringing things to our door.
Tillie and Joshua so remember seeing them together at the zoo. My grandfather and I would take the trolley to get there. That would be more than 70 years ago. So many great memories about "Old " Scranton.
