Lancaster is becoming Philadelphia, the amish can't function there anymore and are moving to the center of the state and paying big $$ for any farms they can buy.
You left out the part where they are all terrible biking cities because everyone goes 60mph and the part where Scrantons neighboring city Wilkes’s had such bad “gun violence” the federal government and the president stepped in
The president didn't do anything. There's still gun violence in Wilkes Barre like every week. With that said Wilkes Barre is still 10x's better than Scranton. Scranton's main street is a ghost town w everything closing. There's literally nothing to do in Scranton but drink. Wilkes Barre has twice as many restaurants, shops, activities.

Best place to live in Pennsylvania is the furthest place from any large or mid sized city. If I wasn't born, raised and so established here,,, I sure as hell wouldn't stay here.
These stats must be from the 1970's! Home prices reflect crime rate and joblessness...the lower the home prices, the higher the joblessness and higher the crime! What they forget to mention is that these first 6 cities mentioned are all "the new havens for illegal immigrants ", none of whom have any skill sets except to take unskilled jobs from people currently here; and when they talk about Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, they were, at one time, great cities. Now, unless you are a healthcare worker or tech guru, Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, or Philadelphia will not do well for you. Gone are the good-paying blue collar jobs of welding, tool-and-die-makert, semiconductor industries, space and aeronautics and aerodefense jobs.
Best place to live? I just finished a video stating that everyone's leaving there!🤣😂 I'm from there now living in NC because Pa. is a Democrat and RINO crap hole with high taxes, no jobs and high crime rate! The weather is another issue!
