If you want to follow along with the course with all the assets, you can get them here: gumroad.com/l/CWEiY Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy, but here's my twitter, so follow maybe? twitter.com/oossoonngg or instagram for that matter instagram.com/oossoonngg/
Say i have this problem when trying to use layer mix when my principled shaders are using displacement. If a person uses the regular noise nodes for the alpha on the layer mix then my displacements will work just fine but when using something like rounded edges, amb occlusion , or edge falloff you lose the displacement in the mix. I think it has something to do with not having reference to position kinda like rest position with these nodes but cannot figure out how to make it work . You seem to have good knowledge on mantra and would be cool if i could possibly pick your brain over email if your interested?

Thank You very much!
I'm getting a "You cannot drop this kind of node into the IPR shader" when I try and preview the Rounded Edge
I figured it out, if anyone else encounters this. You need to use it in the Material Network directly, not in a Material Builder.

Greetings, Josh. Sadly, I can't afford one on one sessions time wise (not this winter at least), I hope you understand.
in such case, you may want to use geometry displacement but not texture. I guess.
