Here is a little ammo exploit for those just starting out. On Kreet, the tutorial moon with the Crimson Fleet base, after you have cleared the base, instead of fast traveling back to the ship, go back into the facility after the boss fight and every dead pirate's inventory will have respawned so you can double loot ammo and guns. I normally leave there with 1500 of the 7.77 ammo and around 1000 of the 6.5 ammo. Haven't seen this happen anywhere else yet.
After watching dozens of "tips and tricks"/"Things Starfield doesn't tell you", you are the second youtuber who actually mentions the "loaded guns" feature. Really need to spread this knowledge more.
5:49 That could be true, but I found another way the red dots are being utilized. If it’s red, that means you can’t go to it because you haven’t explored a system that comes before it in jump routes. Once you do, it will turn white. It will even give you a warning that says something like this: you can’t jump to this system because you haven’t explored a system leading to your destination system
2:59 can be skipped, since you don't need to spend any skill point in that perk, due to a glitch, allowing you to have high end parts without having the skill.
First tip i wouldve liked to have heard when starting: - you have to play the main missing ~ 10-11x before you are actually allowed to keep your savegame without being limited by sth :D
HUGE TIP!! For being over the weight limit, use Personal Atmosphere! Run your oxygen out, then run your CO2 up and use Personal Atmosphere. It will give you full Oxygen and remove all CO2 for a short while. Use the Essence to recharge your power faster and you can run a huge distance, even with over 2000kg in your inventory.
Thanks for the tips. I would be happy (using PC) if I could just enter the Den and the space station over Jemison to speak with Vlad. I've entered the Den twice but now cannot hail. Have not been able to hail the space station even starting a mile away until running into it and hammering the R key (and at times others). I've deleted the game and re-downloaded in case I had a glitch - no change. I've had the same problem with missions to board another ship - cannot hail. First time playing a Bethesda game (15 years playing WoW, swtor, GW2) - disappointing UI problems with Starfield.
Tip number 2: you can actually store your rss in your ship right after pressing square/X by: - going in your inventory - pressing switch storage twice (go to your ship inventory, back to yours) and you can then store your rss in your ship (without getting up)
Some of us haven't done main story yet....and also I think the power stuff is kinda silly tbh. I know it's part of it, but just doesn't fit into my pirate smuggler role playing
Biggest thing the game doesn’t tell you is that because it’s a Bethesda game you may brick your game by doing a quest wrong. Had to go back 22 hours of playtime because I ruined Sarah’s “in memoriam” quest. Don’t be like me a do a proper save every few hours
Honestly I was being a troll but in reality I do make full saves each time I enter a new area and quicksave often as I move through it. Not every 15 minutes but quite often. Especially since the game crashes on me a lot for whatever reason lol.
Here are secrets that took me about 10 hours to figure out: there is no point to outposts or exploration, the story was written by a high school kid the night before it was handed in, enemy space AI attacks the center of your ship so make yours with a hole in it, most loot is garbage, ships are worth 2 rare weapons if you try and sell them, there are multiple ram leaks so save spam, scanning planets is a boring waste of time, many of the powers are silly, you can fly through planets (you won't land), companions for the most part are wooden and their dialogue is uber annoying, the ship building system has little logic to it, You cannot compare gear on/for companions....
Before anyone calls me a hater I bought the game and upgrade. I have not returned it as I am hoping they will fix a lot of it. I can forgive a little Polish developer and I am glad I stuck out the Cyberpunk debacle. Bethesda outsources 80% of the game to places where indentured servitude is legal and there are no labor laws. I had hoped that had learned from 76 but they haven't. I had hoped Xbox would have straitened them out. What do Xbox, Bethesda, Bill Gates and Jeffrey Epstein have in common? They all love effin some kids.

It's a cool feature =) goes a long ways in terms of immersion

Ahh okay thank you for helping clarify
The weapon tiers messed with me at first because i was getting a ton of legendary weapons but the damage was trash. This explains a lot thanks Derka
👍
Thanks for the tips Derka! We probably drank some Bog at the ol apartment lol
More than once! 😆
Great video Derka. Subbed
❤️❤️❤️

Very cool, I've ignored the "powers" so far but this one sounds good

You can get better than 'advanced' gear. I am running around in a 'superior' space suit that gives me over 200 defenses in each category.
Clearly I'm not that high of a level
Does having your resources and crafting material in the lodge safe come up on the crafting tables?
No it does not
There are med kits everywhere in the game. I find them on the walls all the time... I have too many
Just use Personal Atmosphere when over encumbred.
Wtf is this....I'm a Bethesda gamer who doesn't play main quest till 400 hrs 😆
For being overemcumbered just use the unlimited O2 Powa

@@DerkaReloads I like 10 mins max to get the power and I havent swapped it in 40h
There is higher tier of equipment called "Superior"

do a proper save every 15 minutes lol
Holy smokes man. Dually noted will save more

@@momogod01 yea lol I completely relied on the autosave for way too long 🤣🤣
I have carried over 30000 over my weight limit, no problem.
Playing this game on a console with a controller seems like a travesty.
Can play on both, prefer Series X and my massive 4K TV personally
for pilot skills i used cheats hahahaha
PC players have it too good lol
oh yeah! y'all don't got commands on console? damn rip 💀@@DerkaReloads
