@Xander Kase yeah, that was why I instantly appreciated this song, great work of radical honesty. People ask why the growls? Because it perfectly expresses the dynamic. There are plenty of guys who are just the same, only usually with physical abuse added into the mix.

Jiinjer has become one of my favourite bands. They all extremely talented and then Tatiana caps it all off by also being so gifted. It never gets old watching people when they hear this song for the first time. That vicarious thrill is as close as we can get to ever being able to actually experiencing it again for the first time ourselves. Without suffering a brain injury first, anyway (not recommended).
Check out Unleash the Archers sometime. The studio playthrough of their song Awakening is a good start. They are also excellent, just not as well known and they should be.

I normally don't listen to growling.. very specific songs, from a very select number of bands. But, I love listening to virtually everything jinger does.. I don't know if there is a different quality to her growl,, or female growlers in general.. don't know.. But, I love it.. This song is a bit specific in what they are doing,, The duality in the song and the duality of the two fish in the pieces zodiac.. I started out shocked, but by the second listen it was "This is very interesting... but I think I LIKE IT.." from that point on, I'm addicted.. Check out their sing called "Teacher, Teacher" it's excellent and it will give you a better understanding of them and the Metal Core sound.. They incorporate it all, "the stops" the "blast beats", well you'll see..

Hi Marlene, Tatiana has been singing in 8 different bands since she was 15 years old. She was born in 1987, in the year of Cat or Rabbit according to Chinese horoscope, and her Zodiac sign is PISCES. She made absolutely great lyrics to this song. You could find them here in UA-cam. In this song Tatiana reveals her own personality, she tells about her attitude to life, about the features of her own character... GREAT LYRICS.

@@MarleneMendozaMusic Technique/theory would be useful, there are lots of people (me included) who are interested in how things works (whatever if it is singing, playing drums or what your specialization is). Anybody can quickly find some info on the song/band if they want to so it is not the most important thing (also they mostly know the song already and want just your reaction on it). No Rock musician/music teacher is complete without a little Tool in their lifes you should check em out any song will do they dont have any bad songs , my suggestion though is to start at the beginning of their discogrophy which is their first EP Opiate released in 1992 and work your way to the present but if you are more of a random type of person then you should start with the album Lateralus and embrace the random with the song Lateralus. #spiralout ENJOY!!!!!! P.S. Head phones and lyrics are a must and try to avoid fan made videos they can be very distracting and can take away from the experience as a whole
