What a great pedal. I have two of the original Alter Egos, and they are my favorite delays. I happen to like the crazy modulations, and probably get more comments from that sound than any other. If I need less or none, I adjust the mix down or choose another setting, but, yes, it would be optimal if there were onboard controls for modulation speed and depth, as well as tone. GREAT demo!
What a fantastic pedal, so many good sounds. I guess if you A/B it against a boutique delay it may fall short slightly but as it is by itself with wonderful clear delay repeats and nicely controlled modulations it is just so useful. Nice demo by the way.

bonomo2007, tenho um alter ego V2, o modelo dm2 não tem modulação. Também tenho um dm2 waza e o modo dm2 do alter ego é de fato muito semelhante ao modo padrão do dm2 waza. A diferença é de tão discreta imperceptível para um ouvinte.
Hello! I was looking trough the comments and many ppl complain about the lack of rate/depth controls. I believe you can tweek it in the tone print editor. Say you choose the E.rec1 as a starting point for your custom tone print and then you lower the rate/depth or you add functions to the time/feedback/delay level knobs, so maybe the feedback knob also gives more or less depth.( or whatever suites you) I have the HoF and in the tone print slot I made a plate reverb w mod and the tone knob also gives me more or less modulation, works really great for me!
No man in the Toneprint editor you don't have acces to these vintage delay sounds,you can not modulate them.But you can create similar delay sounds tweak them to your likings and beam them in the four Toneprint slots and Ofcourse use them one by one.
Sorry, I'm probably getting annoying now, but do you think they will be making an extension foot pedal that links to the usb to give you extra preset selection and banking functions? Its amazingly good without it but imagine that that could solve some peoples desires.
True and once again only 3 presets, but at that price this is a gorgeous device, just bought a Vox Delay Lab 3 weeks ago instead of the X4, no regrets this will cover tape sounds aside, but still wondering why only 3 f...presets?

Yes, absolutely. There a re e tons of toneprints and they are all from the flashback I believe so most of them have less or no modulation. That's the only thing I dislike about this pedal, no modulation control and it's real heavy on most of the presets

Yes it does emulate oscillation, more controlled than a real thing but not too bad

There's a buffer bypass switch inside the pedal,so turn it on and you're good to go with the trails.
