I like how sure and confident she is in deciding on a dress.
Her family is so amazing and supportive in this video. So positive and uplifting. That's what every bride needs
meh, could’ve done something better. she doesn’t seem very enthuiastic about the dress, and there were alot of people putting pressure on her to pick the dress.
That blonde chicks eyes have no warmth to them. She just stares at you with off putting eyes. Not comfortable at all.
I am 4’9 and absoluetly tiny lol!!!!! My friends kneel down to talk to me
(Edit: I never thought I’d get this many comments or likes!!! We talk people should stick together!!😂)
yo what?
Same here
I'm 4 '11 =( and 18
@@laurensamuels9367 I'm 5'0 and I'm 22 😂💪🏼
I'm the same height
I can relate, I am 5' myself and was so scared the shop assistant would just point me to a small corner with five dresses in it, saying those would be the only ones that could fit me... I ended up visiting a seamstress and having one done from scratch, it was amazing, one of a kind and no compromises needed to be done
I think people often forget this option. It will often be cheaper too!
I believe this is the route I will have to take I'm 4'6.
I’m 5’0 and also having mine custom made. I’m doing ballgown with sweetheart neckline, off the shoulder sleeves, and corset back.
Love this! It's so hard to find flattering dress for petites. I'm 4'9" & was so happy too when I found my wedding dress 💛
I’ve been 4’11 since I was 12, now I’m just about 20, y’all this is gonna be ME.
I'm 4'11" and I have never once wanted to look taller honestly. And I definitely don't want a ball gown b/c I want to show what curves I do have! It's interesting to see everyone's tastes. ☺
The dress with the belt looked soooo nice on her!
That dress is absolutely beautiful and she's a beautiful bride
Being 4'9, finding dresses that fit right is such a struggle. I'm curvy so to see someone who's also on the small side trying on dresses is so refreshing and nice to see
Another 4’9” girl here! Got married in 1976! I chose the first dress that didn’t look like I had on something huge. It was a size 4 sample. Now there are so many more choices. I have a fantasy of doing it again. Same husband thank you!
@@annebator950 wow that's really amazing I'm 17 years old and 4'10 this really change how I feel about being short because it's really hard for us short people cause I remember one time in school group of tall girls was walking behind me saying "omg she so Short lol hi girl grow an inch or 2 or That could never be me lol" I felt very weak cause I didn't say anything and I kept walking 🙂❤️
They were not prepared for a 4'11" bride. I don't think any of these dresses fit her well. She had her reservations, and she wasn't wrong. I think the dress she chose would be better if the front 'tail' weren't there. Basically, if the whole front were one piece, and the mermaid tail started from the back, and an additional 'tail' started below or right at her butt. The dress flattens her butt.
And she could have tried more dresses. Im sure they had enough.
That's what alterations are for. For getting rid of that front "tail" lol
Yup, they definitely need to get her dresses made for a petite bride
Struggle of being short😢
Struggling of being super tall, 5’10, and can’t find guys who aren’t the same height.
@@lindstheteacher1611 That's because all the short women go for the tall guys. We're genetically driven to find tall guys. The shortest guy I ever dated was about 5'10", the tallest was 6'5". I'm 5'1".The good news for tall girls is that they will have tall sons thus helping out all of womenkind is our subconscious but never-ending drive to improve the gene pool.
She made the right choice. That dress she chose was just a perfect one for her.
Congratulations 🎉 Rosy
Every bride needs these women to accompany them. This makes me happy
Grandma was 4.11 and had an amazing body. She was a beautiful woman who, on her wedding day back in 1934, looked even more so. Her dress was simple yet stunning and made her look way taller. Grandpa was 6.1!
The ilusion of height and length is given by a column or fit n flare style, not one that sections the body off. :-/ I love the 2nd dress on her.
I am 4'10" would the fit n flare be the best option?
Hi 👋 how are you dear
@@kaydreamworks6971 a fit and flare would work but make sure the dress has a natural flare from above your knee. You may need to get it altered so you ought to find something that has an easier construction to move the flare up (versus say a fully, head-to-toe beaded trumpet which would be difficult to adjust).
The dress she chose is so stunning. It’s so perfect on her. I just hope she was happy with it❤️
And here I am crying of been 6:11..
She's so pretty wish her the best..hope I also find someone that will love me for me🙏🙏
Awwww. You just got me teary eyed! I hope and pray that in GOD'S perfect timing you will have a respectful, responsible, loving and thoughtful man in your life. I pray that his heart and your heart will be prepared for one another. In JESUS Name amen.
@@RepentAndBelieve1437 AMEN and amen Thanks a MILLION
@@Maryjane_henry you are so welcome ❤
The way the family and friends cheered for her. So wholesome
Very supportive entourage and group of consultants! She looks amazing.
Finally a petite girl on the show. I do wish she tried on more dresses though.
Being short is sweet let it not bother you you're beautiful
This is the BEST entourage I’ve seen on this show. They were all so nice and focused on the brides happiness!
Hi 👋
Helena’s Corner ,,Hello how are you
I feel like there needs to be more diverse options taking into consideration height and plus sizes
KamilaDalmate - yes!!
I'm tired of shopping in Teens& being 40. Lol.
In the old department stores there were petite, regular, tall, large, sections in the ladies wear with fitters around to help. I loved going with my mom and grandma as a kid. It was an experience and it was for regular priced clothes, not upper class. My grandma was 4' 9", and she had some nice fitting suits and dresses. Hats for Sunday of course!
HER FRIENDS AND FAMILY ARE SO SUPPORTIVE
And she even got a short consultant. I feel like there is hope for all of us shorties. Sometimes I fear that I might not show up in my wedding photos. Most times, you can't find my head in group photos.
Who else is 4’11”, cause I am. Shorties unite because we’re not short, we’re travel sized for our loved ones convenience. We can fit into small spaces and pass for kids when we wanna see a family flick
{7:50}
maddy miller sammeeeeeeee I’m 13 and 4’11 too and every time we go to the movies my mom always tells me to tell them I’m 11 and they believe it 😂
But it’s kinda annoying when my friends bother me for being short like sorry I can’t control my height
isurehopeso
Well I was talking about a full grown woman who is 4’11”
@maddy miller , my mom is full grown and is also 4’11 , my height is genetic lol I’m not gonna be growing anymore lmao
isurehopeso
Ok, now I don’t feel bad about how tall I am
@maddy miller , lol
Straps... I would love to see dresses with straps (not dando London though)
I feel straps along with a deep neckline wud make one appear taller.
It would in Sheath or trumpet cause an Aline or princess would eat her up. And I'm why she would put her in the 1st one
Yes. I think so, too.
Yes! Thank you. I was looking for someone calling for another neckline. Vertical necklines are not for her, her chest is small, short. Straps and a plunge neckline would have been a killer.
First entourage that's 100% supportive of the bride and not trying to take over the appointment or be rude and judgmental. Very refreshing to watch.
The bride is just so pretty.
I'm 5'2, this gives me insane confidence with finding a dress :')
Hey, I'm 5'2 as well, I felt the same 😊😊
4'11? Honey come to the philippines. You'll fit right in 😘
Japan too!
Remember, brides wear white, as homage to HM Queen Victoria who married HRH Prince Albert of Saxe-Cobourg-Gotha in 1840. Queen Victoria was 4'11"!
People were shorter back then but genetics have improved over the years.
@@erinvandalayyy7507 People were very tall back then
@@wesambader5023 Huh? No... people used to be shorter.
Erin Vandalayyy Being tall is not a genetic “improvement” and neither being short. Height is a complex polygenic trait, not to mention the effect of the phenotype on human height development.
@@rigel92 Genetics have improved through diversity. They've done studies that show offspring from genetically diverse parents are more intelligent and taller.
I just got blown away by her entourage that were so sweet and nice and supporting. And when they cheered and clapped at the end I just had to wipe away tears. It is so wonderful and rare to see friends and family so supporting and sweet and not just thinking about what they want instead of the brides wishes.
A beautiful stunning lady. She looks amazing in her dress.
I'm 4"10 and got my beautiful wedding dress already and can't wait to wear mine on the big day
“SHUT THE FRONT DOOR” 😂 Omg I can’t 😂
Honestly, she's so sooo pretty.. idk what she's conscious about
Hi 👋 how are you vanya verma
First dress made her look so beautiful like a doll but atlast it's all about her feeling
So amazing how it made her look so much taller. Lovely look.
I love how the “thinner” dresses do not add bulk to her petite size, but does make her look taller!
I'm 4'9 and I feel this on a p e r s o n a l level, oh g o d
*Can we just take a moment to appreciate this family not focusing on them but on the bride?*
As a fellow 4’11 young woman, I feel so seen here! Happy to know when the time comes, I won’t have an issue trying on dresses😊
Rosie’s a freaking stunning woman!!
My friend is size 6 petite, we went shopping for a wedding dress. She told the store clerk, '' I want to look long and lean" They brought out a pair of beautiful bridal block heel shoes, to give her a little height, plus block heels are very comfortable. They showed us the slimming vertical line halter-neck wedding dress + veil creates an illusion of lengthening the torso. It was an amazing to see the " long and lean" transformation . Apparently, a slimming dress is halter-neck , corsetry, vertical seam lines, plunging neckline, couture finish V-neck asymmetical details wrap dresses or wrap neckline .
$1100 "CANADIAN" dollars for this gorgeous dress. Someone please tell me why other SYTTD shows can't do this? There is no need to be spending the down payment for a house on a wedding dress!
June 3, 2021 $1100 CDN = $908 US = £644 UK = €750 EU
I don't understand the sales people here. Their words don't match their emotions...AT ALL.
*Mouth says "OH AWESOME!!!"*
*Face says "Oh please, kill me now."*
I see this with certain people, but....it would be mean of me to generalise.
That was so nice to see her people so supportive of her. She chose the right dress for sure! She looks lovely!
the bride's voice is so beautiful and soothing. god i could listen to her talk for hours!
