He and family came to our house and met me.We talked with each other everyday for hours and we got to know each other very well. We had 6 months before marriage and we met only 3 times. We are happy. Parents mostly know better than us. So giving them a say in choosing life partner is not bad. My mother asked me thrice whether I am totally convinced about the relationship. If I had said a NO once,this marriage would not have happened.

My sister she doesn't like having her picture taken and if she does she'll tell you don't add her to anybody social pages, if someone says they saw her on there they are asked to take it down. His preference could be he doesn't want to be involved with drama that comes from being active on line. I know I dealt with drama case I accepted a friend request one guy ex started sending me msg calling him all kinds of names, another had a gf who warned me off and the only thing we ever said was hi... I hate to be the one to say it. It’s hard to know who you are marrying when you only communicate through technology. It’s easy for a person to tell you all the right things verses you seeing the true them in person. Speaking from experience.
Charee Britt my husband i met through technology. Knew him for 4 years, dated him for three years and then got married. Now married for 2.5 years with a little boy. Lots of ppl do it and it works out for them and some it does not.

I had a long distance relationship with my now husband. Honestly, it made us effective communicators and we know how to handle problems in our relationship effectively. Talking via technology requires a lot of trust and vulnerability. I'm sorry that your experience seemed negative, but there's always someone out there who can be true to you always :D
Deepa D'cruz we did both...some times the timing only allowed texting and other times phone/facetime etc. You can only hide your true self for so long...you just as well be honest.
@@mariewilliams8859 both is perfectly fine, i mean that's how its supposed to be. We do the same.. im just concerned when it is only through the phone. Also there is no absolute must that it mess up.. depends a lot on the person on other end

The first dress: friend says the cap sleeves “make her look like somebody’s grandma.” Are you kidding me?! She looks GORGEOUS! With her body and face, she also looked good in the 2nd and 3rd dresses (she couldn't look bad in anything), but those were so similar to other brides’ gowns. The first one was more “her,” regardless of her entourage’s preference(s). (But, in perspective, she was swayed by a man whom she hadn't seen in 3 years.)
