Yea exactly..if he's already being critical over her clothes selections then its gonna be a problem once they get married. Unless he's paying for the dress and has set a certain amount for then it's about her and what she chooses.
1st bride - I am eternally grateful that my husband was clueless about fashion and styles. I can't imagine having to pick between what he wants and what actually looks great on me...
So happy my husband and I both hated mermaid and fishtail dresses!!! I got lucky there! We did do online browsing together and he hated the one I fell in love with because of the details. I secretly got it and on the day of he didn't even remember he had voted it out. He LOVED it! A week later I told him it was one of the ones he hated the details on and his reply was I'm glad you didn't listen to me, you looked AMAZING! Got me a keeper!
My fiancé would happily marry me in a brown paper bag, I can't believe there are grooms out there that would actually say they hate their bride's dress.
I even think the fiance might have liked it. It was more flowy than most mermaid designs. I was astonished when the sister didn't like it. She should've stayed at home.
Loved the reaction of the second bride. She looked amazing in the three styles but the third, with that unique pattern, it was like made for her... sooo pretty 😍
With an unlimited budget the answer to Becky`s dilema would be a ballgown or A-line overskirt over her fishtail, for ceremony which could be removed for the ceremony.
Exactly, a soft A-line with light skirt for the Italian hot climate or even boho style with a simple and close to body skirt, there are so many options
On one episode they added an overskirt to make a fishtail princess for the walk down the aisle but at the reception the bride was going to remove it. I am surprised he did not suggest that.
The lace on the second gown was fantastic. Something wrong with that "sister competition." She decided that the bride had to be nice enough but not too nice.
I’ve always imagined that if I got married I would wear a ball gown; because it’s really the only time you can wear one without people looking at you funny
It’s the only time you can wear a lot of dress styles. I really want to try on a ball gown because I’ve always wanted to wear one but I don’t think it would be the most flattering style on me so I wouldn’t wear it for my actual wedding. I have a style picked out that I love and my wedding will definitely be the only time I can wear it.
Any man that would tell his bride that she looks horrific in her wedding dress is not worthy of that woman. Dump the dude or you will have years of sorrow and low self esteem down the road.
First bride didn't make the best choice! Probably they were more dresses,styles...I really didn't like the first dress at all...and when they say you are the bride, this is your day. So get married by yourself and forget the groom! Second bride tried different styles and her choice was nice!!
Not considering what the groom would like to see his bride in is awfully inconsiderate. I wouldn't want to marry someone who only thinks of themselves.
I wonder when they say "it's YOUR day", when it is really " their" day. Bit of an ominous start to the marriage when you discount your partner entirely.
Exactly! You are not the only one to get married! Maybe for some women is their life dream to get married and spend big money on a dress but there is also a groom...
“Every girl wants to please her nearest and dearest with her choice of dress” Definitely not every girl. I’m wearing my dream wedding dress, I’m not changing my dress for anyone. I would be very upset if my fiancé said he did not like my dress but he would have to get over it and then apologise to me because I’m wearing the dress I like.
If I knew my fiance hated a particular style, I would try to find a compromise. Not a great way to start her marriage. And why take all these people to shop for YOUR dress? Wedding craziness, I tell ya.
Why do all these women think that a man has a choice in what she wears? It’s shocking to me. Do your husbands tell you what you can and cannot wear out of the house? If it’s their wedding and he loves her, I’m sure he would think she looks beautiful in whatever she walks down the aisle in. Anyone who disagrees must just be used to controlling men.
@@stephanieyee9784 because that’s not the sort of thing you say to your bride on your wedding day. She walks down the aisle smiling a huge grin because she’s so happy to be getting married to you and then the first thing you say to her is that you hate her dress and it looks terrible? That is a huge red flag. It does not do anything except ruin what’s supposed to be the happiest day of your life. It’s not like she can even change at that point. All it achieves is hurting her.
I don’t know why the first bride didn’t at least try a silhouette in the middle like an A-line, just to see. That being said, a groom that doesn’t think his bride is beautiful in ANY dress, well, there’s a problem.
I don’t know why I’m binging this show all of a sudden, but it’s so funny how much some of the brides completely rely on other people to pick THEIR dress for THEIR wedding….and rudely sometimes! Yikes
@@kristy1653 exactly! Always the bride's dress. The wedding is also for the groom, it's HIS day too...is what I meant to convey. So many say, as they did in this video to / about the bride, "it's YOUR day". No. THEIR DAY. But her dress! .
Yes! But, there are tons of people in these comments who think that her fiancé should basically get just as much say in her dress as she does. A bride is going to look beautiful regardless of which dress she wears. I’m convinced these women commenting this are in very controlling relationships where their partners have to approve their outfits before they go out somewhere together. 🙄
Red 🚩 If you walk down the aisle and the groom says he hates your dress or asks why you chose that style, turn around & walk away. No one should be controlled or insulted by their GF, BF, fiance or spouse.
I always feel bad for the bride when she can’t have what she wants but rather hast to buy something to please the groomer the mother or the sister or so on to somebody else in the family. It’s just not going to make her happy wedding day. Day.
I’ve never understood why brides felt it’s only “their” day and it’s selfish to not want to look beautiful for your groom as well. So that might mean compromising in the middle on the dress design.
I agree that it Isn't only the brides "big day". Do they not think the man who has proposed to them Wants to get married too? That He isn't excited and nervous and worried about what he'll look like? It's Their wedding. Not just hers.
Of course a bride want to look beautiful for her fiance and please him. But at the same time, it would be incredibly rude of him to criticize the dress. After all, he is marrying the person, not the dress. Her personality should be what matters the most.
It’s not selfish to pick what you want to wear on your wedding day. As long as what they are wearing isn’t crazy, they have the right to wear whatever they want and it’s none of their partners business. The bride can wear what they want, and the groom can wear what they want. It’s selfish to make your partner compromise on their once in a lifetime outfit just because you don’t think they look the best in it. Let your partner wear what they want and you should be happy to see that it makes them happy.
I'm with the fiance on this. I liked the ballgown best. And the bride says the fishtail is his worst nightmare, yet picks it anyway. I'm wondering about the relationship between these two, especially since the editing did not include the usual "Tell me about your fiance". Was it omitted because she did not show any enthusiasm for him? It's just weird. Just odd vibes from this bride.
I think it’s always the bride’s wishes that have to be first priority. If he’s willing to tear her down because of a dress style then he’s not worth it. At the end of the day, it’s both her and her fiancée’s day, and it’s the bride wearing the dress. If her fiancée is so set on wearing ball gowns, he can wear it himself
I’ve never liked fishtail or mermaid dresses. They remind of the 80s. Though I’m a little surprised the husband wants a ball gown. I would think most men would want to see a sexier silhouette on their lady.
Wow, not considering what the groom would like to see his bride in, is very selfish. If it's "all about the bride" perhaps she should not marry a man. This poor guy is in for a world of hurt.
The first brides dress looked weird with that extra roll of fabric at the top of the "tail". What on earth was that for? Whomever designed it was not in their right mind IMO.
It was rolled up to show what the dress would look like with the lace over the skirt off. No one liked the lace. It didn't come that way. When the dress is made the lace won't be added.
when the bride's sister said that... LOL reminded me of my cousin. since day one of my relationship shes always been salty. lol My NOW husband (then boyfriend) never liked her, he saw her saltiness from acres away. lol
It’s sad for a bride to think that her fiancé would say to her when she reaches the altar “I hate your dress”. That’s not love, that’s control.

So true!
