I'm so glad I found this video. I actually have a great doc who has prescribed me testosterone cream. Along with oral estradiol, and oral progesterone. It was absolutely life changing for me and all the positive benefits I've experienced since. Improved mental clarity, relieved vaginal dryness, incontinence is 95% better, sleep improved, energy improved, no more mood swings, better muscle tone, hair is thicker, weight has stabilized (I was under weight), my skin tone has improved. I'm 52 and feel better than I did in my 20's.

Happy to see you addressing issues related to women age 75+. We are baby boomers and have been forgotten about by the medical community when it comes to hormones. We matter, suffer from rapid bone loss and low libido. We want hormones too.

Great video‼️ Well….without being tested for testosterone levels, based on this video’s info, I can say with almost 100% certainty that mine is zero🤭 On Monday I will be calling your office to see if you’re licensed in my state (I’m not on Instagram.) I need to be under your care because my quality of life is in the toilet in reference to productivity especially. So grateful there is you‼️

Very helpful info about testosterone. I’m starting it soon and am looking forward to seeing if it helps my symptoms.

I was prescribed compounded testosterone vaginally. Never heard anyone talk about this route of administration. Any insight on that, Dr T?

Thank you for the info. My kids are Aggies as well. My problem is, now that I finally convinced my ob/gyn to prescribe estradiol and progesterone, my Medicare adv provider has decided not to pay for the progesterone. Already paying for testosterone cream from a compounder.

UGH, I am on Medicare also.
had to switch to oral estradiol from the patch when my 'affordable' drug plan recategorized the patch to the highest co pay which will run over $200/month. The patch worked much better for me. I do take the estradiol pill sublingually to.avoid the digestive system breaking it down.
Getting these hormones is expensive. I just paid $70 for a month supply of progesterone cream and am not using the recommended amount so I can make it last longer!

I am so thankful my algorithm found you! I ordered your book yesterday. Looking forward to reading it. I had blood work done and I am now waiting for my appointment with MidiHealth this week to determine if it is safe for me to restart HRT. Looking at my results, I don't see DHEA or testosterone , estrogen, or progesterone. Is that normal? I suppose because I'm postmenopausal, it's safe to say I am not producing any of these hormones so why test?

Estrogen and progesterone probably zero, but not the others.... you need to know those! Best wishes from Germany 🇩🇪

My TT level was normal last year. I tried a wild yam, vitex cream for 3 days mid cycle and then tested and now my levels are elevated for TT, THS, And Estradiol and FSH a bit elevated now too. Back to the drawing board I go.

T-levels fluctuate over the day - so it might probably depend more on what time of day your blood was drawn... Best wishes from Germany 🇩🇪

I wish you were in my state. Docs only want to do pellets and I tried that with disasterous results.

Does having low testosterone or progesterone at 43 mean you’re perimenopausal OR hormone imbalance??

Fits me to a t. Trying to find a doctor who will prescribe bhrt. In Brownwood Texas and doctors here still believe that bioidentical hormones cause breast cancer.

When my dr. put me on Testosterone I started losing hair. Went off it and my hair stopped failing out.

Is oral hormones safe? The price of patches and torches are so much more expensive! Also, since starting the estrogen patches I have some cramping. I’m a healthy 69 year young woman. Six months post hysterectomy surgery and bladder lift. Help!

I take oral estradiol but do not swallow it. I let it dissolve under my tongue (sublingual route). The veins there uptake it immediately. I think this is better than swallowing and having it go through the digestive system. I also take my thyroid hormone and DHEA this way.

I’m still conflicted about when the hormones levels can be checked during peri menopause when the periods stopped? How can I decipher my hormone levels when there’s no ovulation etc?
