hi thanks for the video, ur curls are so pretty😊 i was wondering how u apply your leave in products? after smoothing leave in over my hair (raking breaks up my waves) my hair loses curl pattern and flattens before applying curl cream, im wondering if its just best to ditch the product or if there is a better suited method?
Hey Joanna! Thanks so much, and I have definitely had that problem before. I don’t rake or brush my curls often because my curls can also fall flat. I would recommend keeping the products, but finding ones that are lighter weight, and make sure to scrunch and diffuse your hair! You may not need a thick leave in, curl cream, and gel (I don’t always use a leave in conditioner) depending on you hair thickness and curl pattern, so stick to light-weight products and diffuse :) my curls don’t look too curly until I’ve diffused
yes! My curly hair routine on my channel is what I would do, and then after I use curl cream, I would either use the mousse or the gel. I found that a light-weight curl cream was much better with the mouse though :)
while I do love my gel, I have to say my best wash days are when I use the not your mothers curl talk mousse. My 2b waves look 3a. Some also like to use both a gel and a mousse in the same routine tho!

Mousse doesn’t work for me. It makes my hair frizzy and doesn’t hold at all. Gel works great for me though.
Gel makes my hair too stiff and weighs it down. My hair loves Moouse tho
