My favorite Halo game.
Halo 4 has the best net-code in the entire series. Playing from Asia, I could still keep up on American servers with 200+ ping. I can't say the same for any other game in the series

My best 4v4 maps was Haven
My best BTB map was Outcast
Outcast is very underrated
BTB was actually a blast in this game. Maybe my favorite BTB experience
And for favorite map, mine was Haven for 4v4 and Exile for BTB

I totally agree with you on everything. I always had fun on Halo 4 BTB and I genuinely can't remember much of arena H4 outside of FFA and Swat. But BTB was where it was at. And playing on MCC allowed me to rediscover just how fun it actually is!
Halo 4 was fun I enjoyed its story and spartan ops and well its multi-player wasn't perfect I had so much fun with it I played this game alot back in the day mine was probably haven I always did well in that map

I love playing halo 4 and I still have it on my Xbox 360 and I am a really good halo player and also got killed a lot too and I played online a lot and I’m thinking about getting on it sometime again on my Xbox 360 if the servers are not offline
Especially for 2023. This game is light years ahead in terms of graphics, gameplay, pacing, story, lack of bugs, compared to anything released nowadays.
Swat in halo 4 was where it was at!!
I did get this game when it came out, and yeah I had issues with it, I do rememeber going back to Halo 3 and Reach more right before they switched to the Xbox One and then 343 made Halo MCC, I don't think it's a bad game, but it's def the weaker of the Halos. Overall, 343s track record pissed people off more than entertained, especially when you look into everything that happened with MCC and Infinite up to this point, but I still think this game can be fun to pick up every once in a while.

Halo 4 has always been the easiest Halo imo, but I think thats a good thing. I think the hit reg and overall netcode was pretty good, but it had really bad timing and hurt the franchises momentum unfortunately.

Can't say I loved halo 4 it's 4 vs 4 wasn't great but I do agree it's big team battle was excellent and I don't think 343 has made a big team battle that good since

Thank god for the mods. Try the Halo 4 Rescored mod, it dramatically improves the BR sound folly and every other part of Halo 4's sound design.

4 was always fun to play, it genuinely played very well. Just sounded and looked rather terrible, aside from the hiccup with the stupid “CoD” mode the game had the most out of 343 halo, I’m not gonna toot its horn but I do look back fondly
One of the overlooked worst aspects of the 4 is the game audio and sound effects... that BR sound is awful. The gameplay is underrated, now 10 years later, I enjoy going back and playing when I've had enough sweaty Infinite ranked.
I agree. I actually talked about that but had to cut it cause the video drug on a bit too long. The br sounds atrocious

fine ill give you the br but i think hte sound design is incredible otherwise
I'm sad I missed this game since it's so easy to take out vehicles. I personally think vehicles ruin Halo. Vehicles require no skill.

Halo 5 was bad how u gonna say halo 4 MP was worse
It's cuz the whole competitive scene. That said halo 5 was also trash for having a lot of Arena maps and no BTB for months. Halo 5 was like one step forward for those who said halo 4 wasn't competitive to 2 steps back by removing the fun factor. Only good thing on Halo 5 launch was the pistol felt better for headshots.

Halo 4 was a good game, go back to your Bungie Circle Jerk echo chamber HORHAY
