- Halo 4 in 2022 on PC is satisfying, the gameplay is smooth and feels really solid on mouse and keyboard. Plus when Halo 4 gets it's official mod tools later in 2022 (or next year) the potential for even more epic Halo 4 content will be huge. While the campaign and it's gameplay had it's boring/bad moments, it was my first halo and will always hold a place in my heart. Introduced me to a franchise that got me through many a rough time.
Halo 4 was never a bad game. It just never felt like Halo.

I think everytime a halo game is over 5 years old, I always come back to it and im always like “wait, theres a lot to love here” even if I originally really disliked it at launch. Happened with h5, h4, and a huge amount with reach. But yeah halo 4 is the peak arcade halo for me just stupid fun. Still can’t get over the BR sound effect tho.

And I think this is why halo infinite sucked. You are not the only one doing this and it's partially why 343 changed infinite to what it is now. Ngl I would have liked a multiplayer like 4 and 5. Now I play mcc constantly bc infinite is just nice on a event.
Halo 4 is by far my favorite of the series. Ricochet is the best game type that came from this saga, great times.

I feel like MCC matchmaking is really weird sometimes. Because usually I get Halo 4 games immediately (also search BTB) but sometimes, it takes forever. And if I back out all the way to the main menu, and then go back and search again, it works. I've even done a little test by searching with one account on my Xbox and then on my PC, and one will get in and I'll even get multiple games in, while the other keeps searching. Idk what's up with that though, I've noticed this for a while now, and not just in H4
H4 was my intro to the series and I'm a roadie/gravel ripper so I always appreciate the riding commentary.
I personally think every halo game (both good and bad) age like a fine wine and people will enjoy them in the future
I've been saying this myself. It might not be a good halo game, but as a game itself. It not half bad.
I'll admit, the most fun I have is on 4 because the gameplay is so smooth. That paired with 3 & Reach Swat.
Reach, 4, and H2A are my favorite Halos for MP in the MCC. I'd say in the franchise, but I do like some H5 customs.

The SAW is hands down the best new gun 343 made imo. Absolutley loved it and it was great in h5. Wish it was infinite, balances by a lower mag or only 1 mag
It’s just crazy that a game that is almost ten years old is more fun and enjoyable to some then the new fps games coming out today.
Halo 4 was and still is a beautiful game. It may not fit in the Halo universe but I still loved it. If 343 at least stayed true to the gameplay formula of Halo it would have been appreciated a lot more for sure. BTB was incredibly fun to play, I wish 343 stayed with 8v8 and delivered more from the start instead of what we have now in Infinite., They also shot themselves in the foot with it considering they can't bring any classics back with 12v12.

Halo 4 wasn't that bad story was bit different than what we are used to but it still managed just a little bit too many multiplayer stuff.
Tbh, I'm a fan of the halo games since h2 but H4 multiplayer was wild, always loved it and I don't get why it got hated that way

Other way around. Halo 4 Shames Infinite because Infinite isn't even whole yet. Be real if Infinites core gameplay is so good, why are people leaving in mass exodus? It's because the core gameplay is average at best and the game sucks.
