I have 4 Steinhart watches currently and they are all very high quality. I would consider Steinhart one of the best watches in that price range. Great video by the way!
Own one, great watch. The bezel action is tight, but better than it being loose and sloppy. In every other aspect it’s really nice. As far as these being Subby homages or even knockoffs-if you do a side by side comparison they are quite different. Case shape especially. I have a San Martin that is incredibly similar to a Submariner and the Steinhart is not a copy by any means. Sure, it is a black bezel diver on a oyster style bracelet. But still different. All in all a great watch.
I have wanted this one for months...just a tiny bit out of my comfort zone for spending. Hoping to get one in the used market. Congrats on your purchase.
I have a Steinhart 39mm Ocean 1 Vintage GMT sporting an ETA 2893-2. Two years and I just adore it. When I get 10 times the money (735.00 USD TT&L) I will look for a Sub. A Rolex. Used & probably old to get one for $7350. 😭😭😭
I will talk about price and dimensions etc in the full review. I try just to talk about the watch in these first impressions. But check out the Steinhart website for prices. Thanks for commenting
Hello. Yes. This one comes with a SW200 Elaboré. I’m not sure if all Steinharts come standard with this. I have seen others with a ETA movement as well. On the official store they are 460 euros, but that includes 19% tax that I did not have to pay. I had to pay local taxes.
I own one 39mm and two 42mm Steinhart watches. The bezel action on the 39mm is tight. The action is much better on the 42mm. They are very nice watches but not perfect.
No….it’s Steinhart. Their bezel action is WAY to darn tight. After 2 YEARS, & much manipulation mine is now just about right and it aligns perfectly. Haters everywhere……until you own one!
It’s a nice looking piece, but……what puts me off this and many watches like it….THE CYCLOPS. I hate them! I know it’s a homage so is a mimic of another design but why any watch manufacturer thinks that it doesn’t spoil what are good looking pieces is beyond me. I really don’t understand why a lump of glass/plastic has be to glued to the crystal to ‘enhance’ the view of the date. Is anyone really that bothered about the date that they need it blown up on their watch!? Sorry, rant over…😂😂😂😂
Hahahaha. I tend to agree. They are not my favourite and has been my reason for selling watches in the past. I seem to be ok with this. Only because the watch is so good.

Thank you.
I’m really impressed by this watch. I can definitely see another Steinhart in my future.
Congrats on steinhart hopefully this is the homage you've been looking for looks great can't wait for your review
It really is amazing. It is getting lots of wrist time.
I think I may have found my favourite Subby homage. It is soooooo good.
Congratulations mate, steinhart do make some awesome stuff. Would like to see how this compares against an AliExpress one. That would be cool
I can say it is better than the cronos and definitely better than the Pagani design.
It is just better quality, better finishing and better movement.
Awesome, a good looking watch from Steinhart!
Thanks Naomi

Thanks mate. It really is good. Keep your eye on the market. I have seen them come up before and am sure you will find one.
Nice find James. I love a good Submariner homage and this one looks incredible!
Thank you. This one is particularly good
First! Great job on the review
Thanks Dennis. I appreciated your support.
I have two Stienharts and love them both. Great value!
I’m really impressed and already looking at getting another.
Great review. You reckon this one or the Christopher Ward C60 Trident?
Is the CW worth the extra few hundred?
The CW is definitely better. A lot better. It surprises me. The Steinhart is amazing. But the CW is just something else.

I love the look of the GMTs. I’ve handled a few Rolex watches lately.
Is it bad to say that I like my Steinhart more 🙄
😜😝🤪😆😂…….Nope!
Hahahaha
Thanks for doing this possibly the best looking near the original submariner
It is definitely the best I have come across.
I’m really enjoying my time with it.
Liked and subscribed! HELL YES!
Thanks for WATCHing and subscribing. I really appreciate your support
The bezels are tight on the Steinharts , got the 39ceramic Pepsi and it’s tight , loosens with use.
Great to know. Thanks for that.
Indeed, it looks like a quality item, and I would have been interested to know just how much it’s worth.

I Think in time this watch could become as collectible as the skx seikos? A lot of watch for not a lot of money and look very nice 👌
It is amazing how good this watch is. Especially considering the price.
Hi James, what is the movement in (SW-200?) and the price of the Steinhart?

Thanks Jason. Good to know. I’m impressed by this one. It’s a lovely watch to wear.
Whats the link for this one James. Looks a stunner you really have great taste!
It is fantastic
They are available from a number of places but here is the official store.

I absolutely love them. I just bought another.
If they would make their chronograph a 39mm I would stand in line. They use a 7750 ValJoux and those movements are sweeeeet!
I’ll have to check it out

Small blow-torch and cyclops will pop out ;-)
You'll change your mind when eyesight goes downhill.
@@sensible202 it already has & I still hate them
