Hi Dwain, this was so helpful thank you. I would like to know can you pull your guest in from Streamyard to OBS and how? and lastly it seems that when I downloaded OBS it knocked out my audio from Streamyard so that I can not get audio on Streamyard and I would like to use both programs. There is a drop down box where the url is but it is grayed out so I cant switch over. Do I have to uninstall OBS, because I have a paid prescription with live Streamyard. I'd appreciate your help with this thanks!😄
Hi Dwaine, Please help. I want to pull Zoom into OBS to use as a interview feed. All the video I have seen is going from OBS to Zoom. I want to go the other way. Getting video capture is of, its the sound i'm struggling with because of feedback and echo. Can you assist??
This was SO helpful. Thankyou. Only thing I am wondering (or missed) is that I know I set the stream up on streamyard.. do I still go live from streamyard or from OBS?
yeah can you do a video so we can see what it will look like with 3 guest on screen at one time. every video i watched only consider the host on screen but what about the guests and the vertical format ?
Hello I am looking some advice, I loved the video How do I fix the audio from doubling? When I use streamyard for our intro or anything with sound I can hear it doubling.
So I have a question. When having 3 co-hosts and I crop the box or window. I move every one to a custom OBS lay over. My other host is in some back water part of the FL. He always is coming in and out of streamyard and when that happens. Stream yard automatically shifts the windows. So I'm asking if a person drop the feed. Will they say in their custom box in OBS??
No they won't the way this is setup is copies exactly what you're seeing in Streamyard. I need to make an update to this video because they are newer options that address the issue you're having.
Check out VDO Ninja or EVMux and see how they might fit for what you're doing. VDO Ninja is a browser based video conferencing service but you can bring each person into OBS as a separate source which allows you to setup scenes that you have more control over. EVMux is very similar to Streamyard but has a "Pro" option that gives you a browser based OBS essentially.
At first it worked fine for me but now everytime i use the obs cam on streamyard the like either is choppy or the streamyard message says no connection.
@@Artasmagic How is your mic connected? You should be able to have it active in multiple programs. As far as adding guests I have a video for that too.
This stream isn't really about that is kind of the other way around and bringing parts of Streamyard into OBS. But your goal can be accomplished using the OBS Virtual Camera. Hope this helps!
My screen doesn't resize like that though. When i do the resizing of the docks and try to make them flush with the main window (moving them up), OBS attempts to put them horizontally ABOVE the entire main window.
The UI is temperamental you have to make sure you drag it perfectly left or right of the main window it's also easier to line up when the main window is not in studio mode.

I would use VDO Ninja instead of zoom it will allow you to pull your guests into OBS as browser source
Once I have this set up with the plug ins do I have to set them every time when launching streamyard?!
So you'll have to set the target for the window capture each time but you won't have to setup up the browser docks and crops each time.
@@BurkeMade thank you for the quick response. I would hate to soo the browser docs each time!!!
@@Binbuster No problem I'm here to help.
Another great episode Dwain! This is one i've been thinking about for quite a while

You would go live from OBS
@@BurkeMade thankyou!

Hello I am looking some advice, I loved the video
How do I fix the audio from doubling? When I use streamyard for our intro or anything with sound I can hear it doubling.
So it could be a couple issues. The audio doubling is it just in your headphones or also in your recordings?

@@BurkeMadeplease make that video because I know about both but was looking to see if you had a video on it lol

How do we add guests and not have a mic problem?
What problem are you having with guest mics when you add them?
@@BurkeMade i cant use my mic on both platforms its one or the other, also how would i add guests?
@@Artasmagic How is your mic connected? You should be able to have it active in multiple programs. As far as adding guests I have a video for that too.
Is this gonna work also if i add a guest on a streamyard and will appear on obs screen?
It would require few extra steps but theoretically it could.
Do I use the windows capture if I have a two camera setup?
A window capture should still work.
@@BurkeMade so just use two window captures? I ask as I am in Indiana and my co host is in Tennessee
@@SnowmanMultimedia That's probably the most straightforward way to do it.
@@BurkeMade And to confirm, stream from OBS correct?
@@SnowmanMultimedia That's correct
I would like to interview about tech talk. I would also like to know how to add the StreamYard cam into OBS PS nice video😊
You can use a window capture or display capture to do that.
@@BurkeMade it does not let e use the cam when I do that.
@@CoachErikaLove Is your camera active in another application when you open Streamyard?
@@BurkeMade no it's not just stream yard
@@CoachErikaLove Do you open OBS or Streamyard first?
How do you bring in a guest window?
I've got a video on that here: ua-cam.com/video/F5reEWX5mp4/v-deo.html

In OBS 29 'Docks' got their own menu. It should be the third option in the 'Docks' menu.
