here is the thing any kind of legal issues is based on US laws so they are not breaking any laws and if anything went to court it would be a court in cali and most likely nothing would come of it since based on us laws they havent broke any
As a recently new streamer, I will be taking full advantage of these tips. I just ordered a capture card and ill be very excited to finally start using OBS. I would really like to be able to find new growth while playing some shooters or arpg's as ive noticed that the majority of my real audience only enjoyed watching me play arpg's but i began to get burnt out and wanted to try new games on stream

5:06 - restream DOES the same as what he was saying about Bottrix. I use Bottrix only because its Kick's best option for alerts etc since there's no other decent tool available for it yet. I've been using Restream for awhile now and the reason why I didn't move away from it when they kneecapped their free tier is because I have chats from DLive, UA-cam, Twitch and Kick all show up on my overlay as one continuous chat. My viewers are able to interact with each other easily even though they're watching on different platforms. Also, restream has a chat dock that I can see all messages in one spot so I can reply to my viewers as if they were all watching on one platform. Other restreaming options are limited to what platforms they support for group chat. So, yes - restream does do multichat very very well. At least from my experience :)
Thanks for the great video, I'm just starting to stream and figured I would need to create short form content to market the livestreaming. This really helped validate that for me

I actually stream on all platforms. Kick, Twitch, UA-cam, and TikTok. Just not all at the same time. Different times, different days, and it works out well for me.
Restream does relay the chat on other platforms but only to certain ones , like youtube and twitch are able to see what each other and facebook are saying but facebook doesn't relay the chat from anything etc

I figured if I was going to do that, I would just need to make all my streams 1080p. I totally forgot about the damn second screen on OBS that's been staring at me all along. I didn't realize you could change the resolution. I guess I can keep my main stream on UA-cam how it is, and send a 2nd 1080p feed out to Twitch, Kick, and Rumble. Great video as always!!! 5:19 Harris. There is a web browser widget that shows that all-combined chat as an overlay on restream! its in your chat settings where you can find this link and customize how it looks.
I am originally a twitch enjoyer but watching corporate vtubers made me nowadays watch way more youtube streams. And I gotta say, some features there are really neat. Like community posts (I try to stay away from other social media *coughtwittercough* as much as possible and sometimes you simply wanna get a notice out to your viewerbase), or the waiting rooms and the fact that the VOD is automatically saved AND under a different tab then when I'd upload it by hand to youtube (which makes it much more organised if you also upload edited videos). It's also neat that you can give perks specifically to paid subsribers. But twitch also has it's perks. A worse encoder for example... ok but aside from that, I like the interface of the platform more, I like the whole using emotes site-wide, the animated emotes, the chatting culture, no ads for subscribers... Somehow, writing this right now, I feel like youtube actually has the better features imo... But I decided to stream on twitch anyways, because it was what I was more used to when I first started out. I just weirdly don't see myself as a youtube streamer. Also, I get tons of small indies recommended on twitch and regularly find new people. But even after watching streamers on yt for like two years, I only recently got small streams recommended and then it was only people with like 2 viewers. Where are the in-betweens? It always felt like the indie scene on youtube doesn't exist, so it felt like I'd be streaming into a void. Anyway, because of aforementioned features, I considered dual streaming. But at the moment it's just too much of a hassle for me, I don't wanna change all my settings because I am not knowledgeable enough to know what all the settings really mean and stuf... it seems like a big hurdle still...
I, currently, only stream on Twitch. I have plans to try out multistreaming on Twitch and Tiktok, but I do not meet the follower requirements to use their live studio.
I could be wrong but one of the downsides of restream is your audio tracks get compiled into one. So if you are trying to filter out sounds from vods it ignores your routing in obs
@@DefCantGame yeah for sure good to know. I recommended restream to my friend without realizing this. He loves to blast music. He msged me after his stream to tell me it didn’t separate his audio.
Tik Tok live studio does not seem to capture the audio from my Elgato HD60 Pro Capture card. I can get the virtual camera from OBS studio to broadcast into tik tok live studio, and it can pick up my microphone audio, but it does not capture any of the audio that comes through the Elgato capture card at all. So tik tok viewers just have my microphone audio and that's it. The video is being captured fine. It's just the audio via the capture card that is the issue. Any idea where I'm going wrong?
Small streamer here, thanks for a clear and versatile guide. I think recent multistream rules changes on Twitch will make this video even more useful and popular.
The problem is it's easier to get monetized on Twitch, so streaming there is the focus. I would love to stream on UA-cam but I'm not going to make it the main place if I'm not getting paid.
UA-cam, but I've been thinking about doing multiple platforms at once to go with videos once i can pick back up on those instead of just streaming. I think you've sold me and helped many others as well and as always, thank you for the insight. 🙏🏼
Would love to see a way to have different frame rate between the vertical screen canvas and main OBS now that you are recommending it as a multi-stream solution
If someone were to use the Aitum Vertical Plugin to restream to a different platform, wouldn’t the quality be slightly better or worse due to there not being other settings such as B-frames, etc? That’s something the devs should consider addressing in future updates maybe
Well I just learned something and now I feel silly... Had no idea you could link your vertical scenes with your horizontal scenes. Am I the only one...? :/
Is there any way you can show how to have 2 different people playing with each other but in one stream for people who play in groups. My brothers and I always play with each other and would nice to stream in place for us
It would be cool to have platforms use both your landscape and vertical scenes at the same time so people can choose which style to watch your stream/videos depending on their device. Unless they do this now and I don't know about it?
Recently decided to start my streaming career as a kick streamer. Still trying to make this decision on if multistream g is for me. This video is very helpful though. Been running with a lot of good ideas for my stream hopefully I can figure out what's best. Either way I have been enjoying my time on kick!
Looking around, no one is really specified what hardware is suggested for Multistreaming. Like will a 2070 handle the load or do you need a 4000 series?
@@RhinoThunderHLV I have version 1.2.5 of the plugin installed in OBS version 29.1.3. At the bottom of the vertical plugin canvas, there are 4 buttons. The last one turns on/off the virtual camera.
Yeah restream has a overlay and when i streamed in kick and UA-cam they were having full blown conversations (more like debates on the superior streaming platform lol) in the middle of my gaming lol. Restream honestly is the better option purely for the resources favor
Im bouncing between twitch and yt, and twitch and kick. Gonna use the vertical plugin and send that to kick while i restream to yt&twitch. Use botrix to combine chats and have 3 streams at once. Itll make me lose the verticle capture button on my steamdeck, but i can always write down a timestamp and edit later on
I have audio desync with tiktok live studio when adding the virtual cam and stream mix from goxlr. Its fine in the obs/vertical window when i do a recording tho
❓Question:❓How do I pull out the "virtual camera" button for the Vertical plugin? I tried downloading it again from the aitum website and it didn't changed anything :( Thank you for the video

Great video Harris! but you forgot the link to the RTMP, can you please add it to the description i would love to give it ago
You’re right
@@tafGarcia Figured I'd bring it up for anyone who is afraid of having things they wanted cut out of vods, dmca fear, etc
@@DefCantGame yeah for sure good to know. I recommended restream to my friend without realizing this. He loves to blast music. He msged me after his stream to tell me it didn’t separate his audio.
@@tafGarcia thats a big oof, i mean unless they dont care about vods getting muted
I stream on Kick and Twitch, I definitely am trying the co-stream just need to learn more on how to do it right.
thank you for the great videos, you have helped me more than you could ever know.
i was thinking about Tik Tok + twitch even if i think i don't like to have 2 separated chat or stuff... but this video is right on point!
Twitch now allows multi-stream! BUT you are not allowed to merge chats. The idea is to prevent anything that would draw viewers outside of Twitch.
I guess the link was never put in the description for the plugin
Yeahhh - you got me with this one. I saw the title and was like - NO way!
Great video Harris 💜 thank you for sharing all this wisdom and knowledge with us 👏
thank you for the help, def coming back to this video in the end of the month .
yeah i stop Multi-stream years ago and now just get back right at and thank you so much for the extra tips
can i do this with ps5? stream from ps5 to twitch and youtube at the same time
Thank you for all you do for us! I hope your family is doing well these days. So glad you’re still making content, so helpful! 🫶🏻
It’s good to note if we are an affiliate on Twitch it’s against our TOS to multi stream simultaneously
Well I just learned something and now I feel silly... Had no idea you could link your vertical scenes with your horizontal scenes. Am I the only one...? :/
Is there any way you can show how to have 2 different people playing with each other but in one stream for people who play in groups. My brothers and I always play with each other and would nice to stream in place for us
I am back to streaming after years and i am back here to get guidance. You rock!!
Can UA-cam Partners multi-stream? was thinking about giving Twitch and TikTok a go.
Didn't Twitch recently make it to where you're not allowed to multistream if you're streaming from their platform?
It would be cool to have platforms use both your landscape and vertical scenes at the same time so people can choose which style to watch your stream/videos depending on their device. Unless they do this now and I don't know about it?
Recently decided to start my streaming career as a kick streamer. Still trying to make this decision on if multistream g is for me. This video is very helpful though. Been running with a lot of good ideas for my stream hopefully I can figure out what's best. Either way I have been enjoying my time on kick!
Thank you so much! I was pulling out my hair trying to find my stream key for tiktok. Going to try the virtual camera trick.
Looking around, no one is really specified what hardware is suggested for Multistreaming. Like will a 2070 handle the load or do you need a 4000 series?
Another cracking video, keep up the good work sir!
The virtual camera feature is a GAME CHANGER, thank you!
wait please LMK how you got that on your Aitum its not there for me.
did you have to install a different plugin or did you install aitum recently
@@RhinoThunderHLV I have version 1.2.5 of the plugin installed in OBS version 29.1.3. At the bottom of the vertical plugin canvas, there are 4 buttons. The last one turns on/off the virtual camera.
Yeah restream has a overlay and when i streamed in kick and UA-cam they were having full blown conversations (more like debates on the superior streaming platform lol) in the middle of my gaming lol.
Restream honestly is the better option purely for the resources favor
Thanks, I was thinking to multi stream for a while now and this definitely helps
Cheers mate , great info delivered perfectly
I tried downloading it again from the aitum website and it didn't changed anything :(
Thank you for the video
Downside to streaming to TikTok forcing you to use their software is that the software is not even available to anyone below 10k followers sadly
Did you know something when you made this video? xD
Anyways, great tips and good to have now that Simulcasting is allowed at Twitch!
Question I can stream using my PS5 for the game part but for the camera can I use my phone ?? So stream my game on Ps5 and use camera on my Phone is this possible or do I need to use the ps5 cam 📷 🤔 for twitch 🤔
GREAT information. As always, well thought out and presented.
Streaming is something I really want to do in the near future.
🔥🔥🔥 Useful recomendations. Great content! Arigatō
Have you ever done a review on rumble as a platform?
I'm an affiliate on both twitch and kick. Would I lose my twitch affiliate if I also stream to kick at the same time?
Don't you just love it when the link in the video description below is in fact not there
