Made this look so easy. My headlights are kind of tricky it goes from smooth then it has a bump that's for the lowbeam then another bump for the highbeam that piggybacks the first bump. Its Kind of like a 3 floor building. I lost my patience, removed the film crumpled it up, tossed it on the floor and just stood there with my heat gun blasting heat at it, that'll show the film to not do what i want it to do....

I tinted my headlights with a wet application a few different times, since it's cheap and harder to get the water out I f8gured it would be pretty good practice after watching some of your videos. I could never get it perfect I did it without soap/water and used it like this film works and it came out the best I've done it. but this film is a game changer

This film is so stupidly easy to lay down. I had been using Ebay wrap and tint for 3-4 years and thought I was just not made for wrapping. Turns out I was a whole lot better than I thought once I tried a proper film.

I just tried applying 3m vivid clear for my new headlights last night and failed miserably. I used tac2 spray, should’ve done dry I guess. It looked good but I couldn’t get the liquid out from the edges. Then I saw a small bubble and tried to remove it which I should’ve just left. It was getting dark and got cold, I ruined it.
So ya, I’ll be ordering more material and watching more vids lol

looking at the texture i would say APA looks a lot better. It doesn't have air release tho. On the other hand its a cast vinyl so it will feel and stretch like a regular wrap material. Not rigid like other headlight films.

I've been trying to wrap a car for the past few days. Whenever I lift up the vinyl it seems to shatter, it isnt cheap material and when heated it is quite easy to get glass without overstretching. I love scotland, its march and inside my shop its like 2 degrees celcius. I bought a painting booth style gazebo in hopes of using a space heater inside it to raise the air temperature a little bit, I really hope it works. Your videos have helped me so much so far, except the film snapping whenever I try to lift it, I hope its due to the cold temperature :(

???? When are you removing the protective film?
This comes wirh a protective film that stretches with the film itself, I don't see you mentioning that or removing it?
But heck yeah huge game change I can diffently also highly recommend Lamin-X headlight film is awesome to work wirh super easy no sticky backside, no plastic protective film it just stick with water 1L + 1-2 Drops of dish soap easy super and no scratches if that happens use the Laminx polish creme is amazing and keeps the headlight looking new att all times + protect AGAINST UV.
Downside is it leaves some cleanning when removing it 1 year after, takes little cleaning up but no biggy used it 7 years I'm am amateur but I always get it looks like a real pro after installation. For those who want to use liquid for install = buy Lamin-X. ..
It is NOT cheap but take it from me you get what u pay for simple as that
