We love our 2018 Artic Fox 295T made by Northwood Manufacturing in LaGrande Oregon. We’ve had their Trailers for years (2000 Nash 19B, 2005 Artic Fox 22GQ, 2010 Artic Fox 27T) and our current 295T. All are well built.
We bought a 2022 keystone sprinter 30RL in the spring of 2022. Had several camping trips to Florida, texas and around Michigan and Indiana. Boy! Did we luck out! New to RVing, knowing nothing about 3rd party inspections! We’ve had nothing major go wrong except for a very minor slide adjustment. Just had a complete inspection done (proactive maintenance) - just a couple of screws tightened and a tiny bit of lap seal applied - nothing else. Amazing! Inspector said it’s rare to find a RV without issues. Propane, electrical, plumbing, roof, etc excellent running condition. We’re keeping it until we’re too old to climb the stairs! Wouldn’t think of buying another anything now!
We have a 2021 Jayco Pinnacle and we love it! This was made during Covid and we have had very minimal issues from the outset. We would buy this brand again.
Happy as a clam with our 2024 DRV Houston. It measures 47ft from front cap to rear ladder, and GVWR is 24k lbs. Our F-350 DRW with a 5300# payload just handles this rig. Loaded out for full time living, the trailer comes in at 23,730#, and the Truck is right up to its max 14,000 lb GVWR. We do have a generator and washer/dryer installed. We put 15,000 miles on it the first year. We've had it over the Sierra Nevadas, been over 10,000 ft passes, and up/down long 8% grades. The truck and trailer handle perfectly. It took some six months to get the initial warranty items settled, the dealer and factory support have been great.. My one gripe is that the solid wood used on the valences over each window are too heavy, so they tend to get loose with our mileage. These are stapled on, and have been my only quality complaint (well that and the useless tank level indicators). These are quite minor items and can be dealt with; nothing is perfect! I've had issues with the rubber membrane roof covers in past 5th wheels, we sought out the fiberglass roof option, and have had no issues with that. Weathering TS Debby, we've had 9 inches of rain in one day, some of it sideways...dry as a bone inside, and rock steady!
That's awesome James. It sounds like you have a great rig and you're very happy that you chose DRV. I hope you have lots of fun adventures in your full-time travels!
We have a Drv FULLHOUSE 2023 The bedroom slide liks water I have to close it when it rains Very annoying There is more I can go on The warranty people say it was fix but not until we got to Florida we find out
I just purchased a Brinkley Z3400. We are going to most time when we retire in 13 months. I have been researching for about year and half and I love the Brinkley’s fit and finish. I never thought in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would spend that much on a fifth wheel.
My husband has been in the RV business here in Oregon and he is absolutely impressed with the quality of the Brinkley line as well. That will be our purchase when he retires
I am also pleased to see Montana make your top picks. We have a 2018 3560RL Legacy, and while we've had a few minor issues which I've been able to address myself, it has been a fantastic RV.
Thanks for sharing your Montana experience. I'm sure it will be helpful for others viewing these comments. Have safe and happy travels in your Montana!
@@RVInspectionAndCare It would be fantastic if Keystone introduced some 29-33 ft Montana models. Just because a 5th wheel is shorter doesn't mean it has to have less amenities. Some older fivers built in the 2000-2012's seem better built & equipped than a lot of the newer models being pushed out recently - & they weren't the price of a house either, which an RV really shouldn't be unless the manufacturer is only interested in selling to wealthy clientele. Prices now are insane.
As always, thanks for another informative video. It's good to have someone with your experience so willing to share their knowledge and further educate RV buyers/owners. And, as before, my hats off to you with your patience and good sense in handling some of the comments posted here and in previous vids.
Thanks for the info. Happy to see you list the Montanas here!! I agree. We are really happy with our 2022 Montana Legacy 3761FL. We had minor issues but overall it's been a great rig!!
We’ve had good luck with our 23 3761FL as well. Some initial issues which Keystone took care of without hassle. It’s nice not to have stuff break every trip as we did with our previous Grand Design.
I don't know or follow Liz Amazing, so I can't comment on her specific issues. But I do know that the vast majority of DRV owners are very happy with their rig and with the customer service they have received.
Luxe and DRV Mobile Suites are the premium in many ways. We own a Brinkley and are full time. A well built RV. We have some issues. We own a RV Solar and Repair Company and so my own service and repairs. We have some Guinea Pig issues and it will be repaired at the factory. Our Next 5th will be a Luxe
It sounds like Brinkley is taking care of your problems like they should. And Luxe will be a great step up for you. Thanks for sharing your experience here and I hope you make lots of great full time RV memories in your fifth wheels!
@@RVInspectionAndCare don’t get me wrong on anything, we love our Z3100 and it is our home for the next 5 years. They had some units with a bedroom wall issue, this will be repaired at the factory.
It appears that The Riverstone Legacy 442MC or 421FK is going to be our choice for our first RV. I like the steel frame construction from the filth wheel deck all the way to the rear of the frame to the Aluminum wall frames to the walls being 3 3/4 " thick making it easy to heat and cool. I aim to tour the plant as our rv is being built.....i just have one thing I hope that can be done and that's to put a utility room in place of the half bath...brookstone 370RLLO has just that. but that is the main poit of interest in the rv.
I really love what Brinkley is doing, and your reviews are simply amazing! The biggest issue I've heard about the Brinkley's is the plumbing. Your thoughts?
Like so many other issues about good RV manufacturers like Brinkley, the spreaders of negativity and drama on social media have taken a kernel of truth about plumbing connections that need to be improved and have blown them way out of proportion. You would think that Brinkley owners are experiencing major water leaks on a grand scale, from what these influencers seem to be implying. But that's simply not true. Brinkley owners are by and large very happy with their RV and that includes the plumbing. But it's OK if these influencers and their vocal supporters avoid buying Brinkley RVs. Because it just leaves more for the rest of us who appreciate what a great RV product they really are.
That is the one issue none of us Brinkley owners are having, zero plumbing issues. And if you watched that guys video in the work shirt? He is full of it!
Not really. Like I said in the video, these brands don't constitute the full list of recommended 5th wheel brands and models found in my guidebook. And Outdoors RV is one of those brands.
I"m going to agree with you. We've had numerous RV's over the past 45+ years and currently own a ORV. Yes they have some issues; but overall we've had great success for 3 yers; & would buy another one in heartbeat. They are smaller profile & length than a DRV but also half the cost.
I really like the floor plan that Forrest River Cardinal 35FL has. The price is alot better also. I know you said, we get what we pay for. Do you have any opinions on this RV?
I'm sorry but Forest River products are not on my recommended list for various reasons. I understand that an RV's floor plan is an important part of the decision making process. But I always caution not to put floor plan above build quality.
I had a Keystone Montana and the frame split in half. Customer service had all the "answers" and would not help us one bit. Lippert, who made the frame, was more help than anyone. Bottom line, insurance paid for repairs, but it was never the same so we got rid of it. I will never go back to Keystone.
I think giving Brinkley the number two spot is a little premature considering how new they are. I think it will take 3-5 years before you can start putting them ahead of 98% of the others.
I'm sorry you don't agree, but I stand by my recommendation. I have seen enough to confidently recommend Brinkley as one of the better quality RV builders out there and their building methods are far ahead of most other RV manufacturers right now.
Thanks for the informative video! Have you inspected a Northwoods Arctic Fox Grand Ronde? I like the fact that they make their own frames and have heard a lot of good things about them in general. Thanks again and I just subscribed to your channel.
There is a lot of misinformation spread online about RV frame issues. And most of it has been blown way out of proportion as the overwhelming vast majority of RV buyers do not experience serious frame problems.
We have stuck by Jayco but now since they got bought out by Thor we have changed our mine on a new jayco ,Brinkley or Alliance is on our list we know the Brinkley is quality built what do you think about the alliance..
Hi David. Alliance is on my recommended list. But I wouldn't rule Jayco out just because Thor owns the company. In most cases, Thor does not interfere much with the companies they own in a negative way. And my personal inspection of Jayco at the recent Hershey show indicates that they have pretty good build quality overall especially for a higher production manufacturer.
I have heard a lot of good things about Venture RVs but have not been able to spend much time with them yet. So I don't really have an opinion on them yet.
I have the buyers guide you mentioned but there’s a newer model that I was hoping you might have some thoughts on? I’ve heard both good and bad about the new SPORTTREK 353. I like it because I’m a big guy and the inside is spacious, especially the bedroom. I was just hoping you could give your opinion as far as is it a decent lower/middle end RV, or something you’d suggest staying away from? I’m looking for a full time living RV. I wish I had the budget for the higher end models, because my first choice would be a luxe. I’d also need an F450 or even F650 to tow that beast. Thanks for any advice you can give.
Unfortunately I haven't had much experience with Venture RVs yet. And until I do, I just don't want to give an opinion that doesn't have much evidence behind it. But I agree about Luxe. They are incredible, but they require a really serious tow vehicle to do it right. There are other brands on my 5th wheel recommended list that should be useful for you though.
The best fifth wheel on the market is a LUXE they are not mass-produced and they are not sold through dealer Network you buy Factory Direct if you can dream it they will build it yes they're expensive but the quality control and construction is the best. If you plan to live the rest of your life in a fifth wheel the obvious choice is a Luxe once you see one in person you will understand why
As I said in the video, there are more 5th wheel brands that are worth considering first for purchase. But I didn't want to do nothing but stay in the higher end of the 5th wheel market with this list. So I included some that were more affordable. There is a brand that I would choose even over Luxe, but the cost is really prohibitive for most people.
As I said in the video, I feel that Keystone makes some pretty good higher end fifth wheels, like the Montana. And the Cougar is another iconic model that has many happy owners. Of course, there are lots of versions of the Cougar as Keystone seems to be bent on putting out a dizzying array of models. But the one you mention is on the high end of the Cougar line. And my experience is that Keystone tends to build better quality RVs as the price increases. So it could be a very good choice. Just be sure to get it inspected before you take ownership of it to be sure that it is in good and usable shape right away.
Might I recommend you evaluate Forest River Riverstone 5th wheel luxury coaches? In my humble opinion, for the price, they blow away all 3 of the RVs you mention in this reel.
Thanks for the suggestion Mark. Unfortunately, although the Riverstones that I have inspected in the last 6 months have been some of the best Forest River products I have seen, they fell short in overall build quality and attention to detail. So they aren't on my recommended list for now. But I appreciate your input and I'll keep checking them. Maybe my review can change after I've seen some more.
@@RVInspectionAndCare As a current owner of a 2023 442 MC, myself and many other actual Riverstone owners would disagree with your assessment. I’ve owned many RVs over the course of my 65 years, and build quality of the Riverstone is 2nd to none in my humble opinion. So much so that Riverstone has come out with a front office floor plan (425 FO) and we have ordered one and expect delivery within the month. You don’t spend over $150k on a brand if you don’t feel you’re getting your moneys worth, especially twice.
H Sharon. No I am sorry but that brand and model did not make my recommended list. That doesn't mean that you can't get a good East to West RV. It just means that I feel there are better choices to consider in that price range. My full recommended fifth wheel list can be found here - payhip.com/b/82KPO . Thanks for watching!
Hi Dan. There is a lot of negativity being spread around online about Grand Design RVs now and much of it is unfair in my opinion. I have personally inspected several Grand Design 2024 fifth wheels and travel trailers in the last 6 months on dealer lots. And my conclusion is that although GD experienced problems with quality during the Covid years just like all other RV manufacturers did, they seem to be returning to pretty good overall build quality at this point. So I have no problem recommending the new models.
My wife and I are looking for a small 5th wheel we can tow back to the midwest from Arizona each summer. We looked at the Keystone Cougar 23MLE and there were a lot of obvious quality shortcomings. So, we're reluctant to purchase that one. We've seen reports of Alliance coming out with a 23ML rear kitchen design, but there are none out on the market just yet. Your thoughts the smaller Alliance 5th wheels? Should we wait for one?
All I can say is that Alliance tends to build a very good quality product. Keystone is much better on overall quality in the higher price ranges but as the price for the RV goes down, so does the quality. Of course, that is to be expected to some extent. But the dropoff is a little more dramatic with Keystone.
Heartland is not on my recommended list. Of course, that doesn't mean that you can't get a good Heartland RV. It just means that I feel there are better choices to be had for the same kind of money.
@@prestondye2573 Here's a couple videos I made that may be helpful - ua-cam.com/video/cZtKLMK-Rv0/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/n-HsLP2aB10/v-deo.html
Heartland is not on my recommended list of 5th wheel RVs. Of course, that doesn't mean that you can't get a good Heartland RV. It just means that I feel there are better choices to be had for similar money.
Duane, what’s your thoughts on the Jayco Pinnacle and the Riverstone Legacy models? I agree with you on Brinkley only issue is they don’t put half baths in the Z line. Thanks for this video!
Unfortunately, East to West is not on my recommended list of 5th wheel brands. That doesn't mean that you can't get a good RV from East to West though. It just means that you can probably do better for overall quality consistency with a different brand for similar money spent.
@RVInspectionAndCare thanks. However, I was talking about the Ahara line. This line uses Dovetail cabinets and has brass fitting for the plumbing. This is the same as the Brinkley.
Appreciate your content. What are your thoughts on Palomino Columbus. I'm sure I know lol but still curious. It's more in our budget for a seasonal spot in the Canadian Rockies. We wont be moving it but winter is an issue. Thanks so much!
It's not on my recommended list. But that doesn't mean that you can't get a good Palomino 5th wheel. They often struggle with quality consistency. So if you buy one just make sure that you use an RV inspector to verify that it's in good workable shape from the first day of ownership.
Hi Steve. Columbus 5th wheels are built by Palomino and unfortunately that brand is not on my recommended list. That doesn't mean that you can get a good Columbus 5th wheel. It just means that there are better choices for a similar cost in my opinion.
Honestly I haven't had any experience with them so far. But I'll keep my eye out for them in the future. Thanks for your suggestion and for supporting the channel!
Tk u for reading.i do love your channel. It's hard fine real out there.if you ever up too Nashville TN. Let me know come on over to Cheerkee Marna and Camp ground....❤
I’ve been considering an Ember RV, and their owner reports of problems, Ember saying no after a few attempts to repair leaks (water intrusion while driving) have made me pause and rethink my decision.
@@RVInspectionAndCare - what is your opinion of Ember? I’m not sure if you’ve done one of these for “semi-quasi off road RV’s,” but I would love your input. And yes, I am just now aware I should have checked if you had before asking, my bad!
@@Erin-Thor Honestly, I plan on doing more hands-on inspections of Ember in the next 6 months. So I haven't had a lot of exposure to them so far but what I have seen has been encouraging. Stay tuned. 🙂
Keystone turns out pretty good quality for being a high production RV builder. And the better quality RVs are at the higher end of their line, with quality dropping off as the price decreases. The Sprinter Limited you mentioned should have good overall build quality in most cases. But I always advise to use a certified RV inspector to make sure that the RV doesn't have any hidden problems before you buy it.
Unfortunately, I don't recommend Forest River 5th wheels for various reasons. One of the biggest mistakes RV buyers make is getting an RV because of its appearance or floor plan without giving serious thought the the build quality of the brand and model.
Cedar Creek is not on my recommended list. That doesn't mean that you can't get a good Cedar Creek RV. It just means that you have better options for the same money in my opinion.
I would like here what you have to say about DRV or Keystone as they are owned by Thor Ind. Bad reviews Thor Ind. Built stuff. Brinkley very cool. Signed Big Phil
Hi Big Phil. I'm not a big Thor fan either. But there is no clear evidence that Thor has clearly and directly negatively influenced the companies that they now own. It's just a bunch of hearsay by people who usually don't know what they are talking about. The truth is that the Covid pandemic had a far more negative impact on both DRV and Keystone than Thor did in recent years. And now that the pandemic is behind us, they are returning to better quality products and customer service.
Thanks makes me feel a little better about future of the RV Ind. I have not heard a lot of issues with Keystone and DRV. Some. I would like to here more about quality in the Destination trailers. I feel they are in a different group from Travel trailers.
@@philjohnson-ic7dm There is a lot of negativity and drama spread around online that often originates with online influencers who are just trying to get more views on their channel. I do my best to set the record straight but a lot of people aren't interested in that. So I appreciate you're asking questions to try to learn rather than just parroting what others have said. Unfortunately, I have not had a lot of exposure with destination trailers yet and so I can't really comment on them at this point. Have safe and happy RV travels Big Phil!
Not sure if DRV is all you crack it up to be. I had a friend who had 2 of them as a full timer. Both times he had water intrusion issues. And this was an isolated case as in spending time myself as a full timer I meet a number of people. I have been told on numerous occasions from DRV owners about water intrusion problems. Myself, I absolutely love my Landmark. Unfortunately they have “suspended production. If you want a true high end, then check out New Horizon 5th wheels.
You are free to have your own opinion about DRV Rick. But my viewpoint is not based solely on what I've been told by others. I have personally inspected several new DRV fifth wheels in the past 6 months and in my opinion their overall build quality is very good right now. Also, my experience is that water intrusion issues are seldom the fault of the manufacturer. They usually happen because the owner has not inspected and maintained their RV's joints and seams like they should. And by the way, yes New Horizon makes a great product but they are much higher in cost than a DRV. So try to compare apples to apples if you can. This list was meant to cover most of the price ranges from higher end to more affordable. It's not just a list of all the super high end 5th wheel manufacturers that have higher overall build quality because they are getting a ton of money for their products.
@@RVInspectionAndCare not too be disrespectful but you stated high end 5th wheels. New Horizons is a high end unit. Also, call Rolling Acres in OK, they know about the intrusion issues. While I won’t disagree on the lack of maintenance on most owners part, I believe those that buy and own new DRV’s have the wherewithal to have their sealing checked and fixed.
@@Rick92153 You didn't read my comment carefully. I said that whereas DRV is on the higher end of fifth wheel manufacturers, I did not want to make the three brands I featured in this video simply a collection of "super high end" manufacturers, meaning New Horizons and others like them. But clearly you have convinced yourself that DRV has serious problems at this point and nothing I'm going to say will change that. And that's fine, because it leaves more DRVs available for those who understand their true value.
As far as I know, if plumbing issues have been experienced, they were isolated instances. I am not aware of any major systemic plumbing problems with Brinkley RVs.
I went through some Riverstones just a few months ago and I was not impressed enough to put them on my recommended list. They need to up their game in overall build quality in my opinion. But that is common in Forest River products.
Thank you. Currently looking for full-time RVing. Love Brinkley too. Im in Canada so prices are much higher here. Brinkley has gone up a LOT in one year...in Canada anyway. Thanks again
Then you have been listening to the wrong people. Brinkley is at the very top of the fifth wheel category for overall build quality and their reputation for customer service.
We love the layout of our 2015 Montana, but the quality was horrible with several issues coming up in just the first year. Leaking jacks, sticking doors, failed AC, faulty black tank drain, dead fireplace, dead water heater, failed jack leveling system, and on and on. Compared to our Tracer which had 0 quality issues, we found the Montana to be sub-par in quality. If I was going to buy a new 5th wheel, I'd avoid Keystone and the Montana due to poor the quality - even our extended warranty was made mute when Camping World purchased our local dealer :-( Just my personal experience.
Hi Shawn. A few points need to be made here. First, I'm referring to the overall build quality of NEW 2024-2025 Montana's in this video, not used ones. Secondly, many of the things you mentioned do not have to do with overall build quality coming from the factory. The jacks, fireplace, water heater, etc. are not made by Keystone. They are components that come from just a small group of RV suppliers that provide appliances and parts for the vast majority of RVs being made, not just Keystone. And lots of people blame the manufacturer when the real culprits are the suppliers of these components of the RV instead. Finally, if an RV buyer would use a certified RV inspector to thoroughly test every system of the RV before they buy it, even new ones, many of those issues could be found and fixed before you take ownership of the rig. One final point. I never recommend buying an extended warranty from an RV dealer. I always suggest going with a reputable broker instead like Wholesale Warranties who will match your needs with the right company and follow up to make sure they pay out on legitimate claims. I know that it's easy to blame RV manufacturers for everything since that is what so many people on social media do. But a little buyer education about how buy RVs the right way can prevent a lot of headaches afterward.
Sorry about that Chuck. But my recommendations are not based on appliances, components or features. Only on who puts out the best overall build quality.
Yes, New Horizons is very good. But this video isn't just about all of the highest end and most costly 5th wheels. It has to include brands and models that are within reach of a good portion of the buying public.
@@RVInspectionAndCare I have talked to several DRV owners that have had many issues. I think DRV quality has gone down since they were bought out . They used to be a top notch RV
@@cwtex59 Well I have personally inspected several new DRV 5th wheels in just the past few months and they were incredibly well built. DRV had trouble with quality control during the Covid years just like every other RV manufacturer did. But that doesn't mean that their overall quality has gone downhill for good. They seem to be rebounding nicely just like most of the better RV manufacturers in the industry.
@@RVInspectionAndCare The people I know one had a DRV pre 2020 and the walls were failing . They found screws backing out or shearing off . They were full timers and said floor was also buckling. They bought it new and said after first year it was constantly being repaired. The other DRV was a2022 and it had similar issues. Off the line it had minor issues like most do but the issues started multiplying after miles started racking up . They both have bought New Horizons and that ended the structural issues they were having. I’m sure if you inspected a new DRV it would probably look good but it’s when it’s used that the issues happens. All manufacturers can have issues with common components they all use . It’s the fit and finish, structural , quality of build that they lack .
@@cwtex59 Making a decision about a whole brand on the basis of just one or even two RVs is not wise. I never do that. My recommendations are based on lots of research, many online reviews as well as my personal interactions with RV owners. I stand by my recommendation of DRV as a brand.
Idk, while not a 5th Wheel, my 1988 Airstream(Thor) is still going strong. While we have replaced/upgraded components over the years, we have never missed a day/trip due to trailer issues. Maybe we just got lucky, lol. Unfortunately, the trailer bought new was $33k, now a comparable AS tt is close to $170k...😢
@@twbelieves There is so much misinformation spread around online about the companies that Thor owns. And you need to check your facts. Thor bought Airstream in 1980 - www.airstream.com/blog/the-history-of-thor-and-airstream/
The number one problem with DRV they are owed by Thor. Thor has a reputation of buying a company, sending in the accountants and destroying the product. I also noticed you didn't consider Riverstone Legacy, or at least you didn't mention them.
There is absolutely no clear evidence that Thor has negatively impacted DRV. That is just rumors spread online by people who really don't know what they are talking about. My personal inspections of new DRVs within just the past few months indicates that they are starting to recover nicely from the negative effects of the Covid pandemic. At the same time my inspections of new Riverstones did not leave me favorably impressed.
@@socapaul Sorry to hear about that. But your friend's problems are not typical of the experiences had by most Brinkley owners. Also, it's a fair bet that they didn't follow my advice and have a certified RV inspector go through the RV and get all the problems found in that inspection fixed before they took delivery and ownership of it. There is a reason why I make that recommendation for ALL RV purchases, whether new or used. And those who follow that advice usually have a very pleasant buying and ownership experience, especially with a Brinkley.
I would agree that in almost everything you pay for what you get for. Unfortunately I have seen $200,000 5th wheels and 800,000 motorhomes with horrible quality. So where is the line. If you cant get quality for close to a million dollars then what does it take?
Product consistency is a challenge for all RV manufacturers because they are all still built essentially by hand. And the better brands do a good job with maintaining consistency in their products. But that doesn't mean that they are perfect by any means and you can get a poorly built RV from any RV brand. But the odds of that happening are much less with the better brands. However, I always recommend that RV buyers make good use of certified RV inspectors when they buy either a new or used RV to help make sure that the RV they are considering is not a lemon. And I also recommend that if you're going to spend that much money on an RV, it's a good idea in my opinion to buy an aftermarket service contract from a reputable broker like wholesalewarranties.com to lower your personal out of pocket risks associated with costly repairs. It's the people who refuse to follow the advice I just mentioned here that are most likely to get problem RVs that they are dissatisfied with.
That's great to hear. Thanks for sharing your Northwood ownership experience with us!
That's awesome. Thanks for sharing your Keystone experience here!
We have a 2021 Jayco Pinnacle and we love it! This was made during Covid and we have had very minimal issues from the outset. We would buy this brand again.
That's great. Thanks for sharing your fifth wheel experience here!

I just purchased a Brinkley Z3400. We are going to most time when we retire in 13 months. I have been researching for about year and half and I love the Brinkley’s fit and finish. I never thought in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would spend that much on a fifth wheel.
That sounds great Mike. I'm sure you're going to love your Brinkley. I hope you have lots of fun adventures in it!

I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. And thanks for the positive words of encouragement. It's nice to hear!
Thanks for the info. Happy to see you list the Montanas here!! I agree. We are really happy with our 2022 Montana Legacy 3761FL. We had minor issues but overall it's been a great rig!!
So glad to hear about your good experience with a Montana. I hope you have lots of great adventures in that rig!
We’ve had good luck with our 23 3761FL as well. Some initial issues which Keystone took care of without hassle. It’s nice not to have stuff break every trip as we did with our previous Grand Design.
Happy to see you listed the Montana. We have a 2022 3761fl Montana and love it.
That's awesome. Thanks for telling us about your Montana experience!
Liz amazing just showed how DRV takes care of of there customers. No so good.
I don't know or follow Liz Amazing, so I can't comment on her specific issues. But I do know that the vast majority of DRV owners are very happy with their rig and with the customer service they have received.

I hope you enjoy it and make a lot of happy memories in that RV!
@@RVInspectionAndCare Thank you sir for the quick and to the point response!
That is the one issue none of us Brinkley owners are having, zero plumbing issues. And if you watched that guys video in the work shirt? He is full of it!
@@boondockduane I agree.
I think one oft forgotten 5th wheel is the Outdoors RV brand out of Oregon. They make a high quality 5ver
I'm very sorry to hear about the problems you had with your RV. But the vast majority of Keystone Montana owners are very happy with them.
What are your thoughts on Alliance? I have heard good things about them
Alliance is on my recommended list of fifth wheel manufacturers.

What about Luxe and Spacecraft?
Like I said in the video, the brands I mentioned are not the only ones that I recommend.
I've heard that keystone Montanas have frame issues. Is that true?
What is your opinion of a 2025 Venture Sporttrek 5 Touring model #353vik?
What do you think of a Keystone Cougar 368MBI? My husband is trying to get one built for us to maybe winter in and maybe full time in when I retire….🎉

I'm interested in a Reflection. What are your thoughts and recommendations?
What’s your thoughts on heartland rv specifically the big country

Unfortunately, East to West is not on my recommended list of 5th wheel brands. That doesn't mean that you can't get a good RV from East to West though. It just means that you can probably do better for overall quality consistency with a different brand for similar money spent.
@RVInspectionAndCare thanks. However, I was talking about the Ahara line. This line uses Dovetail cabinets and has brass fitting for the plumbing. This is the same as the Brinkley.

Has anyone had plumbing issues with Brinkley?
As far as I know, if plumbing issues have been experienced, they were isolated instances. I am not aware of any major systemic plumbing problems with Brinkley RVs.
Look at Forest River Riverstone they are great far better than a Montana
I went through some Riverstones just a few months ago and I was not impressed enough to put them on my recommended list. They need to up their game in overall build quality in my opinion. But that is common in Forest River products.
Your thoughts on Alliance Paradigm
It's definitely on my recommended list. Thanks for watching!
Thank you. Currently looking for full-time RVing. Love Brinkley too. Im in Canada so prices are much higher here. Brinkley has gone up a LOT in one year...in Canada anyway. Thanks again
I've never heard anything good about Brinkley. I'm a little surprised that it's at #2
Then you have been listening to the wrong people. Brinkley is at the very top of the fifth wheel category for overall build quality and their reputation for customer service.
We would have to disagree about the Keystone Montana. We looked very closely at the 2025s and found the quality to be lacking.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I personally inspected several Montana's recently and I still stand by mine.

Yes quality fifth wheel RVs tend to be heavy. Thanks for watching!

Sorry about that Chuck. But my recommendations are not based on appliances, components or features. Only on who puts out the best overall build quality.
New Horizons beats all of them but are considerably higher in price.
Yes, New Horizons is very good. But this video isn't just about all of the highest end and most costly 5th wheels. It has to include brands and models that are within reach of a good portion of the buying public.
@@RVInspectionAndCare
I have talked to several DRV owners that have had many issues.
@@RVInspectionAndCare
The people I know one had a DRV pre 2020 and the walls were failing .

Thor didn’t own them in 88
@@twbelieves There is so much misinformation spread around online about the companies that Thor owns.
Sorry, Brinkley has not been around long enough to be rated.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I just don't agree with yours.
Are friends have a Z3100 Brinkley. It's been back to the dealer 2 times now and going back again. There are so many things going on.
@RVInspectionAndCare No inspection, told them to get one. They got caught up in the hype of they were so well built. There are many small things.
