I'm pretty sure luxe has those standard..and maybe
brinkley .. in this day and age I can NOT believe some dealerships are STILL selling tin & tin as...well at all really but ESPECIALLY not live aboard 365 for crying out loud !?😂😢
Love love love
I would lose the recliners opposite the sofa and have a built in office area. I also would lose the double sinks but I know some people would love them.
Thank you . God bless America
Omg finally couches that are not pleather! 💕
Great options, sad that it will not accommodate most of us who are retiring who do not want to have a giant diesel Dooley truck🤦♀️
3 sofas is overkill! I think the counter could be a space for bar with stools where that one small sofa facing tv is.
Good floor plan
Awesome! But why do you always call dining chairs a dining table? 😂😂😂
It was almost an obsessed & loved one in everything until the shower. I’m super short so it would’ve been fine but I have a 6’2 partner & he wouldn’t be comfortable showering 😣 so it’s a no go unfortunately (looking for full time living one)
Hmmm, it didn't look like a deal breaker. Was it that bad, Myles? I think if you really love this trailer, your partner would figure something out for you. Happy wife, happy life. ;) 🥰🥰
Apparently the used carpet because it helps with the insulation but my dogs would be peeing all over that carpet. If I get one of these I'm going to have to see if they can make one without carpet
Bea beautiful RV. I'm surprised at draws also back shower. But if I was going to 5th wheel DRV would be first. Brinkley 2nd By the way that was a great showing thanks. I have Hy Line Destination. They are the DRV of destination RV. Thanks again good show, Big Phil.
Nice trailer excuse me I mean home. Nice presentation. DRV top of line. If I was in the market it would DRV, Hyline or Brinkley. In that order.
No washing machine and dryer hook up. Also where does the toilet paper go in the master bedroom?
That's the one! Now i need a new truck! Perfect
Glad you like it!
Love your presentation If I buy new or slightly used DRV would be at the top of my list for 5th wheel. St some try to do U tube on Hyline Destination. Your Faithfull Watcher Big Phil.
Very nice
It would be great if the vents weren't in the floor
Awesome video but I do have a question. As a person who doesn’t know much about RV Travel-Trailers or 5th-Wheelers (actually don’t know what the differences are to be honest), are FWs better for full time living than RV Trailers?
As a solo traveler and for someone looking to purchase my own piece of land, I think a FW would be way too much but a RV trailer might be a little more up to speed for me.
I just don’t know if people actually live in RV Travel-Trailers full time comfortably… or considering the FW as a better fit for full time living instead?
Any advice you (or anyone reading this) can give would be helpful and greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance and again… awesome video.
A FW can be longer because of how it couples to the truck (in the bed of the truck). This also makes it more manageable to tow because the weight is over the rear axle.
Of course there are pros and cons to both, as always...research, research, research. Lots of videos with tons of info. Pay particular attention to frames.
Good luck and happy camping!
Price??????
The only problem none of that stuff in that RV works. It all looks nice upfront, but when you put things in the order to operate, that’s when your trouble begins.
They missed a lot on this model. The price they want they need to step it up
Curious what you feel like they missed?
@@mylesrv drawers , hardware, carpet, refrigerator in slide, kitchen faucet not centered under window.
This kitchen is amazing. I don’t think I like the carpet. It just looks out of place where it is
None of the new RVs are built to live in. Stick with a mid 90s holiday rambler or comparable unit. New ones quality is absolutely a joke.
For anyone who doesn’t like floor vents, just know that’s another feature for an All Season RV, the heat in the floor keeps the water lines from freezing.
Can still have air vents in ceiling for heat & have separate under floor air vents to prevent water lines from freezing ...
Heat rises though, vents in the floor are better.
@@5slowaf Yes heat rises, but air vents in floor will collect all kinds of dirt, dust & miscellaneous debris which can lead to a whole other set of issues ... To each their own, but for me = ceiling vents every time ...
Love your presentation as always! Just saw one thing that I think should be changed and that is who needs two sinks in the bathroom? Nobody! I would like to have the countertop space instead.
We love having 2 sinks!
We have two sinks at our house, we love two sinks in a camper.
We love our 2 sinks in our RV.
@@cindygablehouse7283 Hey, each to their own that’s what makes the world go round right? Personally, I would a whole lot rather have the countertop space instead of two sinks. I mean how often do married couples get ready at the same time and brush their teeth at the same time anyway?
I agree - 2 sinks not needed!😊
Are the two love seats the same length? Like I would prefer the loveseat with the cup holders be in front of the tv.
Agreed. Swap those out. Deal breaker for me as there is no place for a drink or power outlet.
I totally love this- with the exception of carpet, for one main reason- it holds environmental allergens more than tile or linoleum. Especially if you are full time and traveling throughout the US. You can use all the air filter machines you want; but some allergens will still be in the carpet. I live in AZ and allergen removal with carpet is a huge challenge.
To put a spin on Joan Crawford's "No more wire hangers" - for rv's it is "No more floor registers" ... and "No more carpeting" ...
Just don't beat your kids with floor registers and carpeting!
@@sandragray4598 Only way to beat your kids is with "beats" aka - music ...
As with most Mid-Living Room RVs, this one has the fatal flaw that the chairs in front of the TV are tiny. It doesn't matter how good the left and right is, MOST of your time watching TV at night will be right in front of the TV, and that little two person bench is tiny - no middle arm rest, no separation in case one person wants to use a laptop while the other watches TV. This is a fatal flaw that anyone who spends a lot of time in an RV will see right away imo. Sorry, but I'll stay with my Rear living room with theater seats in front of the 50" TV.
Hey Myles, Your videos are great! I like how you include the small details and features. Also, I appreciate you taking the time to reply back when I messaged you asking about RV roofs because I know you have a lot of subscribers. Thanks for your help and God bless you.
Carpet under and around the fridge is a negative for me.
Shower is a dealbreaker for me at 6’3. Was super excited that I found my perfect full time RV until then. 😢
I'm only 6'-0", but at 255 I'm wide across the shoulders, that little seat in the corner prevents the use of a shower chair.
@26:03 That shower is a NO-GO (aka crap)!
K next the best trailer/rv for a family to love in.. not a retired couple
This is a gorgeous 5th wheel omg 😲...on another note in regards to the carpet my wife and I would prefer to have the carpet instead of all the linoleum.
As a full timer in a DRV the carpet is necessary in the slides due to the added insulation carpet provides in the winter.
Floor registers are necessary due to the size of the unit. First the floor registers are spaced to ensure even heat distribution. Second the duct work helps to heat the floor. Anyone who's used their RV when temps are 50 or below will notice how cold the floors are.
Lastly for those complaining of dual sinks in the master bath, a single sink vanity is optional.
A popular custom option is deleting the toilet and sink in the half bath to create a laundry/storage/extended pantry.
Bummer. The shower is a deal breaker.
All the storage is great and the floor plan is nice. I would also get rid of the double sinks in the master bedroom to create more counter space
I like this since I believe being a single person, I could be very comfortable with this 5th wheel…TY.
Would love to hear your thoughts about living in destination HAMPTON 378DBB. I need a 2 bedroom
Love this one.
The storage is phenomenal.
I appreciate seeing all the controls behind a door. When I see controls in most rigs located all over the rig, my mind automatically goes to my younger grandkids that would love nothing better than to play with all the pretty buttons. Lol
😅👍
Wow! This one is AMAZING! And I love the white cabinets too!
That is the tinniest slide I’ve ever seen in the bedroom dresser. it almost looks like it isn’t open on the outside. Seems strange to create an entire slide for just two inches. They could have made it deeper and done a spectacular wardrobe
Young man, you are thorough and very knowledgeable. Love, love this 5 th wheel. Master br,like over cabinets over sink. Agree with shower pull down bench, drop floor . Thank you for in depth education.
In my opinion, while the outside of the camper shell appears to be solidly built, the interior seems cheap. The one leg table does not appear to be very solid. The cabinets do not look finished on the inside. There aren't many shelves. The drawers look slapped together on the inside. I also bet that the swivel chairs by the table look flimsy. I am not impressed with this model.
Not exactly high end. Doors under tv have no gap. I wouldn't brag up the drawer boxes as being plywood. That's junk China plywood. Look at the rough cut you get with the voids inside the plywood. Go solid maple or 7 or 9 ply cabinet grade ply.
Immediately I can see that I absolutely love the fact that they have cubbyholes for storage above every single tip out / window that they could put one. What I cannot understand is why everyone doesn’t do that.
Beautiful RV. For a fifth wheel of this calibur they went overcthe top on everything except the shower. Im sure this rig is North of $150,000 30:02
Beautiful camper! Double sinks in bathroom…dumb. Would rather have the counter top area. I agree shower could be better design. Very nice tho!
Very nice. But, why would they put carpet underneath the kitchen table? If food drops or something spills, it'll be a challenge to clean it. Also, there is carpet in the guest bathroom cabinet. That is a bad idea. You want to put cleaning supplies under there and sometimes they leak or drip down the side of the bottle. Plus the things you put in that cabinet won't be flush with the floor.
the only thing about this is there is really only one dedicated bedroom and I have a kid. It would be nice if they would figure out a bunk or something like that. I just feel like they could have thought out the living area more and fit in some bunks somehow. why would you need 3 couches, it's just weird.
The carpet is a deal breaker for me! It cheapens the whole look. Who wants dirty carpet under your kitchen table? Gross.
No floor vents, no carpets in the living room/dining room slide outs. - Love the storage in the dining table and those chairs on swivels is awesome. Loving the kitchen but I'd have to personalize it. We couldn't do white cabinets/counters. Light grey tops perhaps with sage green cabinets (Personal preference). Love the pull out sofa, they've sure been upgraded better than back in the day. Loving the laundry in the half bath. In the master, Side tables square like that are great. The two chairs under the bed are NOT the same as what is already at the table.. bummer. Only needs one sink in the middle in the master. Need the counter space/storage under. Master shower could have been done WAY better. Everything you said about the shower I agree with. Loving the closet. I'd love to have one like this I just really need a two bedroom.
Kitchen by the right side be nicer to have a lazy Susan drawers to pull out make it a lot easier. The shower skylight needs to be longer towards the back for taller people.
No pantry
My hubbie could never in that shower gotta pass
Poor layout. Who wants visitors passing through your bedroom to use the shower? Im definitely not a fan.
Would’ve liked to have seen a pantry since it’s geared more toward FT living.
Love the kitchen, table, couches, actually like everything except carpet.
That itty bitty corner shower seat is about as useless as teets on a bull...get rid of it and you can sit a shower chair in there. And kinda of pricey for no built in generator.
The outside designs are so dated looking. Who decided that RVs have those hideous swooping lines? Just imagine cars with the same designs 😅
Between the sink and stove would have been a good spot for a lazy Susan in those cupboards!
HVAC vents in the floor! Dumbest thing ever! Will they ever learn!
Where do you go to sleep at night in the bed and the rain starts pouring in from the slide you could sleep and take a shower at the same time
We hate carpeting because holds smells ~ we have that wet dog smell from our carpets
Carpet and floor vents are a deal breaker. For that price point I would expect a lot more.
THIS IS NICE THE CHAIRS AND THE BEDROOM AND BATHROOM NEXT TO THE BEDROOM
The only thing I see is the drawer construction looks very cheap.
Those fake floors are so ugly. They put them them in everything.
I have a question. What RV is best to live in up in central/northern Ontario Canada. With winters going to -40C with windchill down to -60C.
The one I’m showing here. Or a step up from this would be a Spacecraft RV
One sink with more counter space around a centered sink….
@15:13 If you want real wood (instead of plywood) dovetail cabinets you’ll have to go to Brinkley RV to get those🫤
Or Jayco
A rain shower would work if installed on the shower cycle
This is great... just need another room for the kids
Forest River Sandpiper 3800RK is waaaaaaaayyyyyy better than this.
How so? The quality of this and a Sandpiper are very different from one another.
Is there an RV out there that can fit a family of 7?
Carpet is a fail! Ever had carpet under a fridge? Bad idea!
Dual sinks wouldbeGreat.
I want you to show me more car houses,
Could you review the smallest option to live in?
I love it but where is the outside grill an fridge?
Washer/dryer option location?
Many of the cabinets need shelving.
Small shower for a DRV. I loved our 2017 DRV LX410 (1 of 5 made). It was before Thor purchased them and removed that model. I actually preferred it over our current Newmar.
😅 Did you show us the chairs in the dinette? I tried to rewind and see a swivel, but I didn't see one. Their legs look pretty solid. Yet when you talked about them swiveling, I thought they did.
I like your presentation, but we just traded off a 2020, 40KSSB4, why, the customer service we got was pathetic from Chad Olinger who works for DRV. They refuse to send parts to any dealer that doesn’t sell the DRV even if they used to sell them, Dennis Dillon in Boise ID and Pierce RV in Billings MT, why did they quit selling them we’re were told because DRV was too hard to get along with. We bounced around Boise for 42 days waiting on parts that never came, sat 28 in Billings MT where we bought the trailer, parts were order over 90 days prior to arriving. They recommended Whiskey Mountain RV in Mesa AZ, another mistake. Like I said I like your videos but our experience with DRV was the worst. We traded for a Brinkley Z3610 and have been extremely happy, I’ve been RVing for 36 years and our Brinkley is our 9th RV. God bless and keep up the good work.
Prefer master bath
more counter space
1 SINK & more counter space
Not finding the price of this unit.
Blue compass used to be Blue dog RV, used to be the worst RV dealership in America we've been full-time for 9 years now so back before full-time was a thing this RV dealership was the worst RV dealership ever
Neither bathroom has counter top space. Most people I know use their bathroom counters. If you are a CPAP user, this layout is awful. The tiny shelf is too far from the pillows. Guess you could sleep with your head at the other end and use a folding table. Love the living room/kitchen area.
Looks amazing, Myles! Love how they put the cabinetry up high, making good use of space, although may need a step ladder. Colors and lighting are great. The kitchen and living room is a nice use of space, and like the swivel chairs too. 😄 The bathroom is great with the washer/dryer in there, and they included a safe in the trailer as well. A well thought out design. Even a shade on the ceiling skylight. Ha! Beautifully designed!
Wonderful, I could quite easily live in this. Only one thing that it doesn't have is a space for a hoover or ironing board, which I'm sure they could have accommodated that somewhere with all the cupboard space.
Where’s the washer and dryer go?
This is garbage materials!!! Plastic and cardboard!!!!!
Where?
Not going to lie. Shower ruined it for me. I'm 6'3" and the mobile sweets won't be an option. I'm not standing in a skylight to take a shower....
Tk u Myles..there nice ones on market
Just keep waiting for that deal come across. Look good on lake just east of Nashville Tn. Make good show place for them show one off. Cherokee Maria and camp ground ❤
Not a new one 😅😅😅😅
What would’ve been a cool added feature is those small cabinet just above the dishwasher in the kitchen if they’ve had a slide out double sided part that allows you to store spaces that would’ve been a very cool use of that tiny cabinet. Overall, I really like what I’m seeing in this fifth wheel. Just curious because there are opposing slide out. Does that mean that bed requires a tilt when you bring the slide out in?
Get rid of the double sinks in the bathroom and make the shower taller.
