He completed medical school at the University of Toronto and a fellowship in nephrology at UCLA. I'm so grateful to you both. I found you two during the pandemic and although my generation was called all kinds of names for advocating much of what has been proven in research nowadays. I learned so much from the videos but my bottom line, at the age of 70+ the joint inflammation is very difficult to get under wraps
Have you eliminated sugar? limited bread /bakery carbs? Whole Foods only? Eliminating sugar helped me the most.

I was in Santorini last month and I found greek food very disappointing. A lot of junk and deep fried food. I needed a week to recover and my IBD flared up.
Please comment on saturated fat. Dr berg /berry said it is not a problem but Dr li thinks need is bad
From a bunch of sources sounds like it may be bad after all which does not mean that eg refined carbs aren’t bad also.

But that’s when you are adulting on your own to Chance decades of bad learned eating habits at home because your family made bad choices based on the lack of education, and available grocery money to by the best to feed you growing up!
Lifestyle habits, cultural habits, and tragically being fed the SAD is leading to generations of obesity, fluffy people in the downward track to insulin resistance, and metabolic syndrome!

Anyone havevan opinion on lectins? There are some people saying not to eat certain vegetables and grains etc. Also avoiding fruit because of the high fructose
All fruits? You’re missing out on some delicious and extremely valuable foods
Your at least talking about Dr. Gundry - there are so many contradictions, & disagreements among the best out there. We really don't know who or what to believe anymore. Maybe it's much more simple - moderation & variety. Plenty of hydration, fresh air, exercise, friends & family. Nature & LOVE in all it's forms....
There is no one size fits all when it comes to food. You have to figure out what foods are best for you. I have a lot of foods that cause me inflammation. It takes trial and error to learn what works best for you. Good luck in your journey!
You just have to learn how to prepare each food an Instacooker takes care of lectin in beans the high heat destroys it.
I love all colors of bell peppers I cur in four or eight pieces flatten them out skin side up drizzle liberally with olive oil
Bake @450 degrees 30 minutes then the skin peels off no lectins in meat of peppers. Peel the tomatoes you can remove
some of the seed too.
