Your crackle guitars looks amazing! Cool way to bridge the looks of the 80s and today with the modern specs. You could try out Evertune bridges at some point! Installed many for myself and for others. They really make things easier live, studio, just practicing or playing...
I don't want an evertune for live guitars because I prefer them to be as light as possible, but I'm definitely interested in an evertune for recording!

Rad that you had an Ibanez RG470. My first decent electric guitar was a 2004 RG470 in "new penny" finish. Still have it. I blocked the terrible Ibanez licensed floyd tremolo on mine too! At one point I had an EMG 81 set installed, but then switched to DiMarzio Evolution humbuckers. Great mid-priced guitar.
I started on a steel string acoustic and LOVED it. It made me better at electric guitar and developed my finger strength so fast. Underrated approach to learning guitar in my opinion. :)

With the grounding issue, you can try a DI box and use the earth lift function, that could fix the issue. Also digging the album, the first song is my favourite
I don't recall if I've tried the DI box for that specific issue, but we have for the other grounding issues in our apartment and it doesn't help :( I'll try it with the radio thing though! And thanks a lot!!! :D

Straight out of the gate with a D-tier. lol I agree though. I think it was/is commonly suggested that people start playing guitar on a steel string acoustic because if you can play *them* well, then you can play just about anything well. It's how I initially started playing, and not only did it just hurt to play because of no calluses and stuff, it was just difficult to play. String tension is super stiff on acoustic guitars, and when you have a budget acoustic (like most would just starting off) they're really poorly setup, so the action is super high which exacerbates the issue of stiff strings with no calluses. These days, because cnc is so prevalent, even budget electric guitars are decent learning rigs.
I made the same acoustic mistake. Start learning how to play on the type of guitar that facilitates playing the music you like. All of my favorite guitarists in my favorite bands play 7 and 8 strings. So while there is indeed a bit more of a learning curve, I went with an electric 7 immediately. I couldn't play the music I wanted to play on an acoustic, so I didn't play it. Just a waste of money in my specific case.
Had the 2127z (trem version) which was my first foray into 7 string land. Loved it, but trem was not for me. Stuck some AHB-1 duncan blackouts in it, which in hindsight wasn't quite my jam, either. Traded it for my current ormsby gtr hype 7 only because I hated the trem.
Almost 2am, stoned and cackling at Claine and her Warbeast 🤣 Can't say a thing though, I had a white tribal Warlock, that I loved and eventually ruined by 18v modding it 😅
my first guitar was a black BC rich Warlock 6 on one side headstock :) the setup was awfull on it sadly so i didnt play it much. but two years ago i looked at tutorials on how to setup guitars and now it plays great :)

Holy shit these grounding issues! I thought I'm the only one who suffers from it so much. I live in a town where there's no ground connection whatsoever. And this noise drives me nuts, it makes my guitar sound so much worse! In every palm mute I hear sshhshshshss. For a long time I thought that I was doing something wrong, but it turned out there is just so much EMI going on that my pickups just catch and amplify it significantly. And those are regular humbuckers, not piezzo.
I spent a lot of years playing guitar without ever owning a tuner. I thought my ear was just that good. Years later I would learn I have "imperfect pitch." I now own a tuner. A true story, this.
