Thank you, I was able to install my new G930 by watching your video! I'm so glad to have gotten the 10", as it just barely fits between the Jeep visors. Haven't hidden the wires yet, but at least I have the front cam working! I was struggling with the chip/settings, and your vid made it so much easier!
I just bought this mirror and installed. Overall I really like it. So far my only concerns are that the mirror does not seem to have a auto brightness function and I’m really hoping I don’t have to manually turn up and down the brightness as I drive day or night (haven’t driven at night with it yet). I’ve also noticed glare on this does seem to be a little high. My other car has an oem camera mirror and there is virtually no glare on it.
James, on the glare issue: I reached out to the manufacturer about the same and they sent me an anti-glare film but they only have it in 12". I haven't applied it yet, so I can't tell you how well it works or not.
No one ever reviews how accurate the rear view is in terms of distance of objects. I bought one and it made ever car behind me look extremely far away and so what’s the point I almost died bc there’s be a truck right behind me but it LOOKED far away. Please someone address this. Is it that they can’t? Some now have new zoom feature…but I think just one company.
I've been reading this comment for a few weeks now, unsure of how to respond as there are a lot of variables in play. Ultimately it depends on where on the car you mount the camera. For example I mounted a camera on my mini cooper above the license plate and you can back into things where you'd swear its gonna hit and yet you have another foot of space.. mostly because the distance from the license plate area to the actual furthest point on the vehicle is different. Best thing I can say is that it will have to be adjusted to every install. Fortunately this mirror allows the lines to be adjusted, many dont. What I would do is install the backup camera where it makes sense and then get a yard stick and put it under the camera. Adjust the lines on the mirror to where you want a vehicle to be when you park and you're done and you know its exactly how you want... hope this helps!
You just have to buy the ones that can zoom in not just adjust the camera lenses up and down. How far away are car is behind you is to me the most important thing, you can’t expect these mirrors to do everything so if you want peripheral in my example, I had a cargo van so I had to install cameras that would help me with blind spots on the size and then I cried most about how far away was the car behind me. Some of these are trying to do too much, I think that’s a little bit of the problem but also I have read people who have more technical knowledge describe that it’s almost impossible to get an accurate sense of how far a car is behind you other than the rearview mirrors we have in cars that we look at because of the digital feature and the fact that there’s a camera on the back of your car so there’s very little chance it will be that accurate. However, the new ones that they’re making that have a zoom feature, are what I prefer. Then I think you just have to practice over and over with your car till you really understand what the distance is.
Quick question, i have a G930 with the WDR and regular camera it came with and though i am able to rotate the camera from.the dashcam by 180 degrees so ot looks correct on the display, when i replay my rear dashcam video no matter if i am using the WDR camera or the original version that came with the G930 it replays upside-down lol. So like for example the thumbnail looks correct in its position and even the Wolfbox logo at the bottom showing the time etc is in the correct position but the footage plays upside-down. I contacted Wolfbox and they are going to send me a replacement WDR camera but im not so sure its the camera as i bought a second G930 and that one does the same thing lol. By any chanch have you noticed your G930 playing back your reqr dashcam footage upside down? Any feedback from a fellow user is appreciated. 🙏🙇♂️
GPS coordinates are embedded into the video so in the event of an accident you know where it took place and at what speed. The unit is powered by hardwire 12v to USBc adapter 🤙🏽

Great review! I just want to know if when you drive, you can trun the display on and view the rear camera's caprured image and use it as the rear mirror or instead of the mirror? The black glass of the display is cool, but a video would be better. I had that option in G900 model in a different car.
Guys who tried it is it good during the night (light glare) and what about brightness during the day? Cause i have Chinese mirror and it’s not bright and bad quality in dark areas
Its great at night honestly! If its too bright it does have adjustment and you can also just turn the screen off easily with the button on the bottom middle. As for daytime use, its bring enough for my old car but i dont have a sunroof. I could imagine it would be a little more difficult in direct sunlight but not much worse. hope that helps!
I have found the easiest way is to take the memory card out and pop it into a card reader attached to your computer. From there you can view the videos like any other memory card. The files are a weird format so you may need a program like VLC playee
Hi, sorry for the delay. I do not remember the screw dimensions but I think they were M2. This kit should have what you need! www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZRD1D6L?psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=autofun02-20&linkId=94d5dc3f3b3c855d4711cf29eec60040&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl
You can go into settings and there is setting called "record interval" where you can turn off the interval all together I think. Or while it's on, there is a red record button. You just have to tap it.

Good call with the actual visor distance measurement. Mine is also 10in, and I nearly ordered the larger unit. Thanks for the tip!
Glad to help!

I just received the G930 and it still doesn't have wifi but you are able to use the app to connect the videos to your phone, which is awesome.
Thanks for the video, really helpful!!!

Love the video does it have parking monitoring when hardwired in
it does have an optional hardwire kit if you want 24 hour parking monitoring
Which is better, the G900 or G930?
the G930 is a newer model but its a 10" screen instead of a 12"
I wish someone would do a comparison between the two .
What’s the point of the GPS? And how did you hard wire this? I hate the USB lighter connector.

Very cool!
Nice! thanks!
Do you have any links for mounting kits for this to the front window
Is the backup camera weather proof? I want to find something that is weather proof to mount on the outside of the trunk to give me a lower view
It sure is 👌🏻
Hello,
will the signal quality from the rear camera be compromised if it is mounted inside the rear projector
Inside the projector?
Hey, great video, do you have a link to the bracket you used for installing the camera?

Is 930 better than 900?
No
Bro your intro is crazy😂😂😂
Gracias!
Does it have WiFi to download videos directly to the mobile phone?
This model does not.
@@WompFilterProductions which model does?

can you post some footage??
Between this one and the 840s, which one is better? Or the only difference is the length?
Honestly i think the UI is similar so it just comes down to what size will fit in your vehicle :)
a question, does the wolfbox logo every time you start it it comes with the logo, or can you cancel it, as it is annoying ?
I do believe it shows wolfbox everytime. To be honest it happens so fast and im usually fumbling with this or that i never notice it.
Is there a standard mirror mode without the rear camera image being displayed?
Yes, there is a button on the bottom that you can turn off video so you can use it as a mirror.
@@WompFilterProductions So you can still record even when you press the button to use it just as a rear view mirror?
@@iggydip thats correct :)
Hi! Can you say what is the length between the screws of the camera or the custom mount you used?
is this still now after 1yr?
Still the best one I own 👌🏻
How do you play the video?
The recorded videos?
@@WompFilterProductions yes sir. And save it in case of an accident

Does it delete the old footage by itself once the SD card if full?
It does yes
@@WompFilterProductions thank you
Can you leave this connected to a battery pack over night so it can stay on without hardwire
I dont see why you couldnt!
Just know that it wont power the rear camera if its only plugged into the mirror.
So the rear camera isn't connected to the mirror by its.own cord ?
And can you turn loop recording off
no it gets power from the reverse light, but the camera feed is of course attached to the mirror
@@Hangerback
Does it automatically record when it starts up?
Yes it does
Some sample footage would have been nice, but thanks for the overview.
This clip is audio and video from the camera :)

sorry i dont understand what you're asking. camera has to be connected to screen and have power to work.
Will the cigarette plug drain my battery?
If left on long enough without starting car yea. I used a wiring module that shuts off after a low voltage to preserve battery…
How can I know that my cigarettes plug is sending power to the device?
You could use a multimeter. But i think it has a light on it?@@rickyrichy5496
