I know there are better written stories but something about toriyama creating new things that would happened right after such as trunks coming from the future as a ssj was something NO ONE EXPECTED. This was toriyamas writing and it was so good! The fighting was perfect in the manga and much better paced. His paneling is perfect hence why I love dragonball and why it’s more than just an anime or manga

Even if you're talking about the og db with Kid Goku which is better than z I still wouldn't call it the goat. Berserk, monster, Vinland Saga, fma, Rurouni Kenshin, hxh, Yu Yu Hakusho, Digimon, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, and Samurai Champloo and those are the ones I could list off the top of my head. If you like the anime good for you even I like it but I'm not gonna pretend is some near-perfect masterpiece.

I started black clover on some month of 2022 and finished it in early 2023 (pretty sure) now I'm watching only One Piece, which I had started after taking a temporary break from Black Clover.
@@noonespecialtbh I have yet to see anything that comes close to Dragon Ball. Although I enjoyed HxH, One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, OPM, & JJBA, they really don’t compare in terms of story or fights.
