I like how the owner keeps telling the technicians how to do their job. If you already know everything why take it to a technician. 2 stroke motors fowl spark plugs much easier that 4 stroke motors. Being a cheap skate over a couple of spark plugs is dumb. blowing all the water out of the test barrel will also buy yourself an impeller from running it dry.
Oh this is painful to watch. Takes it to an expert, yet telling them how to do their job! Mate, you try that in my workshop and you're taking your outboard straight back home to repair it yourself!!!
@@pdevonport7266 yes it is real scary to have it shoot up in rpm, i added a hydrofoil and added a lower engine mount to keep the prop lower in the water.
New plugs seem to do the trick.. Awesome!
I would have looked at the plugs and thought they were good but the tech went for the plugs first thing and got it right 😁

You can't run the motor while it's cavitating like that. You'll blow it up. It's 5,500 rpm underload.
