Not for long. The New Manila International Airport in Bulacan will be operational in 2026. Plus the NAIA 1 terminal is starting its rehabilitation and it will up to par with the best airports once completed.

As I mentioned before, I was in Cebu City a few weeks ago. When I was in that airport I went to a counter to get a Coke Zero. One of the girls was singing. I mean, who other than Filipinos sings at a place where you get drinks? Singing is a part of Filipino culture. I brought up the fact to the girls that many Filipino singers are famous such as Arnel Pineda and Lea Salonga.
Just left there a week ago. By far the cleanest and most organized airport I have ever been too.. Also the most friendly. I was surprised you were allowed to film as much as you did They are more restrictive here in the states.

Hey Jonathan, super interesting video. Cebu airport is a new domestic destination airport available to us from Cotabato City, Mindanao. I would have automatically looked at NAIA for International travel, but not now!!
Actually the Philippines has 2 new modern airports. Under construction is the New Manila International Airport in Bulacan Province that would change the game. Mactan-Cebu- Visayas Island Clark International Airport- Luzon Island
Terminal 2 at the Mactan-Cebu Airport is relatively quiet in certain times of day because most or about 70-80% of its international flights arrive and leave during the night, especially from early evening to wee hours in the morning. Most flights operating at night are arriving or departing for South Korea as Koreans make up about 60% of all international visitors to Cebu.
