Even in Saudi Arabia we have so many Filipino nurses and workers and we really love them and appreciate them cause they are very professional at what they do and they are so kind hearted and pure people 🤍
13. Philippines' New Year is a really loud occasion like there's a war going on. Every house has their own fireworks and fire crackers. Every 12 mn of January 1, you can't hear or see a thing. All house that has vehicles will make loud noises, kitchenwares banging, people shouting, firecrackers, fireworks and horns. It is believe that the louder you make a sound it will scare bad luck to your house or that year. It's a fun celebration except for the pets. We are providing a shelter like my room under the bed for my cats and dogs during new year's eve.
And also nurses in the Philippines were not well compensated so a lot of nurses from the country would rather work abroad than to work in their homecountry. Its just sad that people just wants to study nursing because they know that it is compensated well in other countries and it would bring their families out of poverty.
The Christmas one was my favorite part , i didn't know the Philippines enjoyed for so long , normally it's related to west countries , especially Europe
I remember I read that when the Pope visited Manila, 7 million Filipinos went to the mass to see him. They may be indeed the most Catholic country in the world.
Philippines is the most westernized country in Asia .... We celebrate all catholic festivities, halloween, valentines, day of the dead same as in mexico
Let's be fair even though Christianity started in Southwest Asia and Europe revitalized it... Spain conquering Philippines made it the only Catholic country here in Asia.. *The Light of Asia*
i am really hoping that Filipinos engage more in contents like this, sharing about what's fun in our country, not talking about the trivial (or worse, the negative) matters. we need more of this so that the world knows Philippines has a whole lot to offer.
@@CaptBone see how you still managed to ruin one very positive comment? give me a break! if you badly want to talk about the negative traits of our country and its people, talk about it within your friend group, or in a platform where your discussion actually yields a good result. not where everyone, esp. non-Filipinos, may see it and judge us. it doesn't help us, does it? we need to market our country because the world is missing so much. heck, we even need to market our country to our fellow countrymen. Philippines is a great country. it is the people, not just the government, that destroys its image! talking shit about it in front of our potential visitors or investors is just stupid.
I have a theory that we Filipinos start celebrating Christmas early in September ( not only because we love Christmas so much and it's the biggest holiday in the country ) but also because we are trying to avoid the "Christmas rush" when everything gets more expensive when you buy decorations and gifts for your loved ones and the traffic jam becoming worse when it's nearing 25th December...also, we will have to prepare and attend to a lot of Christmas parties for different set of friends, coworkers, and families.
Basically its like telling your friends to be there at an time earlier than the actual time. The on time ones you can chat with while waiting for the late ones who will arrive close to on time.
I want to clarify some things of the fun facts about the Philippines. I don't want to discredit her or that. She did a great job explaining to her friends/colleagues. Just correcting some of the information. The main language of the Philippines are Filipino and English. The difference between Filipino and Tagalog is that Filipino have influences of English, Spanish, and some of the languages in the Philippines. And Tagalog is a language that spoken on parts of the Luzon Island. Note that Filipino is a language and Pilipino is what we call the people born on the Philippines. Another thing she mentioned is that Karaoke was invented by a Pilipino but rather it was invented by Daisuke Inoue, a Japanese man. It was only patent by Roberto del Rosario. Jeepney is a public transportation on the Philippines, it hold more than 20 people per car. They decorated it because to express their art of the Pilipino. But with the recent changes, Jeepney will be changed into modern ones. You would see this public transportation less on the streets because of the government wants to modernized it. Yoyo was not invented on the Philippines, it is used thousand years ago by the ancient Chinese and/or Greeks. It was patent by Pedro Flores, a Pilipino, he's one of the pioneer to popularized and sell yo-yo on the USA. I hope you visit the Philippines and experiencing my people's culture.
This is in correct though "Note that Filipino is a language and Pilipino is what we call the people born on the Philippines"- the word "Pilipino," which refers to the language spoken in the Philippines, was discarded in the 1970s because, similar to abakada, it included a recollection of Tagalog. "Filipino" was substituted for "Pilipino" in order to represent the latter's contemporary nationalistic goal.
The most similar country with the Philippines is of course, Indonesia 😊😊 This year, Philippines and Indonesia will commemorate the 75th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations so we look moving forward for the future of two countries because they are strong economic and the two peoples are well socialized in the world 😊😊 Philippines and Indonesia are biggest pageant powerhouse and there are pageant lovers swap, Indonesian fans with favorite Filipina candidates such as Miss Universe Philippines and Binibining Pilipinas while Filipino fans like me with favorite Indonesian candidates such as Puteri Indonesia and Miss Indonesia and recently, Philippines and Indonesia are always roommates in some major pageants 😊😊 I love Anica and Elita because these are beautiful and they are sisters of ASEAN and hopefully, in the future videos in this channel, is all about Indonesia with Anica and others so Good Job World Friends and Have a Great Day 😊😊 Mabuhay Pilipinas at Indonesia 🇵🇭🤝🇮🇩 Greetings from Calamba City, Laguna in the Philippines 🇵🇭💕🇮🇩
They all seemed nice and level headed, gorgeous ladies but the girl from Brazil is so cute and her expressions and reactions were adorable too. They all should visit the Philippines and pls share it to us we wanna see their reactions to the Philippines.
Why do majority of Filipinos still think that other Filipino languages are still called "dialects"? What's more problematic is that they are spreading this false information to the world.
It's because of how parents taught to them. Most old gen people learnt that it is a dialects. The real reason why they taught like that is because of unification, there's an history of it. That's why we need to reeducate those oldies and clarify to the new gen the difference between a language and a dialect.
@@zachzoldyck1796 it’s also bc self-education with the magic of mass multimedia wasnt a thing til now. It’s kind of easy to see how the thinking formed: country = language; dialects = provinces. But yeah, if one region can’t understand 90% of what a second is saying, yeah-probably a different language
Anica: "A Filipino invented the karaoke machine" Me: That is actually incorrect, a Japanese dude invented the karaoke machine but a Filipino patented it. 👍 Anica: "And one the thing is, mainly because transportation is quite hard for us to use." Me: The texting thing or SMS is not because of transportation. The Philippines is the texting capital of the world because calling someone is relatively expensive than texting that is why most of us would rather text/sms than call unless it is an emergency. Transportation is not hard to use here, we don't have the most efficient public transportation in the world but it can get the job done. I think she is referring to heavy traffic when you travel not public transportation. 👍 Anica: "So the languages in the Philippines, consists if more than 170 fascinating dialects" Me: Again, incorrect. Those are languages not dialects. If they are unintelligible from each other it means they are languages but in those languages for example the language Chavacano is famousfrom Zamboanga but did you know that their is Chavacano in Cavite? that is an example of a dialect means some words from each region may be a bit different but ultimately Zamboangueno Chavacano can make conversation with Caviteno Chavacano. #RealTalk
I kinda felt embarrassed for her because she had such a huge smile on her face whenever she'd explain things, not realizing that her informations are inaccurate. She seemed so sure/so confident in her words -- I feel like she was just happy and excited to talk about her country -- that it almost made me feel bad when she'd get the facts or informations wrong lol There must be someone more knowledgeable about the country and the English language that could've sat there with her to elaborate on things or to explain things in a manner that is expressed articulately and easily without all the grammatical errors and awkward wording, lol. If there was truly no one else, then honestly, they need to do a better job researching and fact-checking next time.
@@RANMAJUANHALF-23 Another Filipino problem: when someone tries to correct you with plausible facts. Sasabihin agad: "Ikaw na lang sana kasi marami kang alam". You sir, prove this stereotype. Congratulations! Kung gusto magpakamali, nasa sayo na yan. Stay ignorant and stupid.
I agree with your explanation esp. in texting in Philippines.. But, me as a Filipino here in US. Since calling is not costly, i rather call than text.. (or I guess, most Filipinas. Not all, I guess). And about Karaoke, when somebody asked her if it's all of the Filipinos must have, and she said the big one. Nope, as in not all. Most of the Filipinos have big karaoke machines when it has a party going on. Like in my province, Karaoke machines (or we called it Videoke) is always rented on parties. But the small ones, like sold inside the malls are the ones that some Filipinos (some, not all and not even most) do have in their house. Some filipinos, 2 reasons: because not all can buy this stuff and/or even if they can buy it they not too, because they rather use the money practically in most useful things. And for me, yes I am a filipina, but since the technology now is great, i rather use youtube on smart tv than buying that machine (which i will not use everyday). I will just need bigger screen TV, Speakers, Microphones to connect. Open youtube to sing karaoke and I don't need score in the end. At least if I am not singing, I can use that TV and speakers on watching movies on weekends.
Correction!@ 14:15 Daisuke Inoue (井上 大佑, Inoue Daisuke, born May 10, 1940) is a Japanese businessman best known as the inventor of a karaoke machine. Inoue, a musician in his youth employed in backing businesspeople who wanted to sing in bars, invented the machine as a means of allowing them to sing without live back-up. Filipinos and other people in each country followed and continue using it for fun and for practicing etc.

The world's first karaoke machine, the Juke-8, was built by Japanese inventor and musician Daisuke Inoue in 1971. But it is Filipino inventor Roberto del Rosario who holds the machine's patent. He developed the Karaoke Sing-Along System in 1975. What Is a Patent? A patent is the granting of a property right by a sovereign authority to an inventor. This grant provides the inventor exclusive rights to the patented process, design, or invention for a designated period in exchange for a comprehensive disclosure of the invention. They are a form of incorporeal right. Example. The Telephone: Patented by Alexander Graham Bell in 1876. The Lightbulb: Patented in 1878 by Thomas Edison. Kung logic ang paguusapan itong Karaoke machine ginagamit natin ngayon ang inventor nito ay Filipino hindi yung Japanese. May credit din naman si Daisuke Inoue dahil siya yung unang nakatuklas. Who invented Karaoke? Answer: Japanese and Filipino Stop being crab mentality dahil lang sa may unang nakadiskubre wala na karapatan ang Filipino inventor?
When I was in Manila this year, my friends had a karaoke party, and they all were singing so amazingly. They asked me to sing, and I told them Im no good at it. They eventually convinced me to try, and I was even worse than I thought I was. They didnt ask me again, hahaha. Last year, one of the places I went was Camiguin Island, and it is absolute paradise. I rented a car and we drove all over the island exploring. It is very safe, and for such a small island, it is packed with tons of stuff to do. I highly recommend going there.

I'm from the Crocker Amazon/Outer Mission area of San Francisco, just a short walk from the Daly City border. So although I'm not Filipino myself, I've been surrounded by a lot of Filipinos and their culture my entire life, and it's really wonderful. I've been doing some political work with local Filipino groups too (such as Bayan and the ILPS), and we co-organized a very strong mass demonstration against the APEC conference in November, which was a truly incredible experience. It's also been great working with the nurse's union, which has MANY Pin@y members, over the past few years. There are so many awesome people in that community! You haven't lived until you've been to a Filipino karaoke Christmas party! 😄
probably the reaaon why we dont get overwhelmed by christmas carols is that it gives us the feeling that we are nearing he big day.like when u r waiting for tge week end to get a break from ur job. its is even better cause its not only a long vacation, its a reunion with ur family, a whole lot of them, also u get every kind of christmas parties in schools, work, family and other families, friends and neihgborhood, etc.. feels is a combination of celebratory and nostalgia cause uve been through it since birth and and the major fun activities starts on (some on september , soon businesses followed) holloween and the week of december 25, then extends to newyear.. after the pandemic tho, much of these christmas traditions diminished after pandemic
The Brazillian girl talks a lot like most of us here in the Philippines. I believe we are Filipinos but are heavily influenced by Latin America in terms of our behavior and emotions. Yes, we have mouths like machine guns. Sometimes.🤣 I really love the vibe of the Brazilian girl. She's hyped throughout the video. @13:30 That's my hometown. It's in Banaue, Ifugao. It's called the Banaue Rice Terraces. We also have many hot springs there and wonderful waterfalls and natural swimming pools. How I wish our government would not remove the jeepney in our country. I'd rather ride in a jeepney than the modern weak jeepneys they want.
Fun video as always! Some of their reactions were priceless, especially Julia, meu querido 😅 You are all welcome to the Philippines! Another fun fact: a Filipino guy invented video chat!
Fact for those who don’t know: The reason why Filipinos celebrate Christmas from September to February is because of its deep ties to the Country’s Love and Devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Mama Mary’s Birthday is on September 8 and Purification of Mary is on February 2 which is also called “Candelaria” to most Provinces, in which we blessed Candles used for the Whole Year. Devotion to the Blessed Mother is so huge in the Country which hailed the Philippines as “Bayang Sumisinta kay Maria”. Its an act of Consecration to the Nation to Mary. Devotion to Mother Mary explains the resilience of Filipinos and the richness of the Country in all aspects of Virtues, not perfect but truly Rich. Devotion to Mama Mary is not bad , but indeed loved deeply by her son, Jesus. When you glorify the Mother, the Son is glorified as well and its vice versa.

Nicely done ladies! well put together video. The official languages of the Philippines are actually "Filipino" and English. Filipino is based on Tagalog, but incorporates many foreign words from Spanish, English, and maybe some words of Chinese and Japanese origin. Greetings to all of you from the United States.
Si anteh, missed a lot of infos abt the Philippines 😅 esp, in the jeepney part, boxing part, church in the malls, many more. But again thanks for telling them facts😅
15:49 Jeepneys are actually the remains of the US military jeeps of WW2 . Filipinos took them as an opportunity to put them in good use and it also became their source of living . Nowadays , you rarely see them on busy highways because modern airconditioned jeeps are stealing the spotlight . These jeepneys deserve to be in museums as a remnant of how the first jeepneys came to light .
Tagalog and English are national. Everyone understands it. Dialects are local to the region/province. A native Manilenyo (without influence) going outside the tagalog region wouldn't understand other regions' dialect, in general
I love the Brazilian girl😂like I’ve seen her already on diff videos and I guess she was right when she said ph is like the Brazilian in asia I mean like seeing them just how they are on concerts and fanmeets & just like I said I knew her on a vid that I think it’s about Latina guess each other’s nationality? The word karaoke is derived from two Japanese words. 'kara' comes from the word 'karappo' meaning empty or void and 'oke' comes from the word 'okesutura' or orchestra. The karaoke machine was originally invented by Shigeichi Negishi.
They are not dialects. They are languages because they are not mutually intelligible to each other. Dialects should be mutually intelligible with each other. For example, 'Hiligaynon' is the language, but there are Iloilo Hiligaynon, Bacolod Hiligaynon, Negros Hiligaynon, and South Cotabato Hiligaynon. They are dialects of the same language; they are mutually intelligible with each other, with some differences in vocabulary. Speakers from one place may use alternative words that are found or not found in other dialects.
They are dialects according to Philippine decision makers, socio and historical specialists. Mandarin and Cantonese are dialects of Chinese even though they are not mutually intelligible. And there are languages that are mutually intelligible yet are not dialects. Mutual intelligibility is not a good criterion, even linguist don’t agree and find the boundaries between the subject too blurred to differentiate. Max Weinreich once wrote “a language is a dialect with an army and a navy”. Simply put, what gets called a language has more to do with political and social situations.
@@elle05 Dialects of Filipino (based on Tagalog Manileño) is Tagalog Batangueño, Tagalog Caviteño, Tagalog Laguna, Tagalog Rizaleños, and Tagalog Quezon. Even China don't call Cantonese, Hainanese, Sichuanese, etc a dialect of Mandarin Chinese (Standard Chinese language use in China)

Slight correction, The Japanese inventor Shigeichi Negishi invented the first karaoke machine in 1967 called 'Sparko Box", then Daisuke Inoue his own machine in 1971. But Filipino Del Rosario holds the patient and developed the Sing-along system in 1975.
This video is really great because in my school we are learning about filipino traditions. (Yes, I’m a filipino) and it really tells what is common among us or our usual traits, I love video’s like these because it always tells abt our history.
I'm Filipino but I don't want to spread false claims by Filipinos - a JAPANESE INVENTED THE legit KARAOKE MACHINE in 1971 - Daisuke Inoue; a Filipino, patented it in 1975. But recent news have it that Shigeichi Negishi, invented the "Sparko Box", an early karaoke machine in 1967.
But it was Roberto del Rosario who filed a patent for his version of the karaoke machine system, the Sing Along System, which del Rosario developed in 1975. Inoue did not patent his machine and did not earn from it because he wanted to “teach the world to sing”.
I think the reason why PH is the text cap of the world is not because of the transpo, it is because text subscription is cheaper compared to any other country in the world. We have unlitx promo we can easily subscribe. Other country would require a load/minutes before they can RECEIVE or send a text but PH don’t require load to receive a text.
Exactly! Coz it's much cheaper to text than to make a call in the Philippines, specially back in the early days of the cellular phones. While in the US, calling from your cp is included in your monthly plans, while texting is sometimes isn't, so you pay extra if you text
I don't think it's still true to this day. I believe it happening before, when 'clans' and sending group messages or 'GMs' was a thing. Social media wasn't that big back then so young people would either make friends or meet new people through texting. I remember typing some greetings and an update and sending it to everyone in my contacts. Thinking about it now, that was kind of like our early 2000s facebook post. 😅
Texting started here in the Ph when GSM cellphones came here. Offered by Globe back then. Specifically the Nokia cellphones which at the time the only cellphones that had that feature. Back then the thing was not mobile phones but pagers. But because we need to call the paging companies before sending the msgs and it kinda like sending telegrams back then with limited words and not all words can be sent it was screened, people opted to just text. And paging has a fee. Unlike texting it was free. And that was also the reason why Nokia cellphones back then were selling like hot cakes back then.(they were the only cellphones in the market that has text messaging) Not because we pinoys were calling (which were expensive back then) but we were texting. 😅 And that is also the reason why Globe flourished and Smart came for the piece of the cake. And also GSM phones can't be cloned back then. And that was also the reason why pagers died here in the Ph. And also back then not all pinoys can afford mobile phones. I for one was just borrowing my brother's cellphone back then. 😅 Good thing nowadays there are different levels of phones here in our country. If you really don't have the budget for a low level smartphone you can buy call and text phones ( specially if that's what you'll be doing, calling and texting) and there are plenty of plans out there also may it be prepaid or postpaid.
@@rosaaan considering that other countries have access to internet in almost all parts of their countries, usage of internet apps to communicate is higher, the use of SMS has also decreased. But here in our country, not every province (hindi lahat ng sulok ng Pinas) has access to internet, some parts are fishing for signal still to this day, so SMS is still the cheaper option of communicating since calls are still considered expensive for the general public unless you subscribe to a promo. So considering these things, even if the usage of SMS has decreased, Philippines will still be the texting capital.

28 September is Feast of Archangel Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael according to Catholic Church liturgical calendar, so it's not a surprise to prepare Christmas decoration from that day, also in October Catholics do full month communal rosary prayer every day. Attending church 9 days before Christmass is actually root in Catholic Novena prayers practice, that means you do 9 days Novena before Christmas day. This practice is make sense and not a surprise if you know Catholism teachings enough.
WOW! i found this really interesting. the philipine christmas celebration is same as for the christian people especially ini the east of indonesia… when it comes to months with end of ‘ber’ (september to december), we start to play christmas song lol. and yeah, it stands until february!
in indonesia there is chruch in mall because its hard to get space for build church in the city, but i surprised philipines have that too even they are majority christian/catholic
It's more of convenience...In Philippines you can always find Catholic churches near your area...we have shrines, chapels, basilicas, cathedrals...name it and we have them all. Mall owners are usually Catholics, and they finance construction of Catholic churches beside the mall, inside the mall, and sometimes offer to repair the chapels near the malls. I live in Naga City (Bicol), my house is literally walking distance to 5 large Catholic churches. Our city has only 200k people, but we have more or less 30 Catholic churches.
The similarity that The Philippines and Sabah (one of the state in Malaysia, located on the Borneo Island. Also known as North Borneo) have karaoke machine in each house and our favorite pastime is singing... hahaha...
@rots.866 wow!!! Amazing!! Applause everyone!! 👏👏👏.... To be precise The Brunei Sultanate used to own most of Borneo, and only a small part of Sabah was given to the Sultan of Sulu from Brunei Sultanate because of helping him to fight the enemy in 1658. --“The rightful owner was Britain. The Agreement of 1878 fully allowed the North Borneo Company to transfer the Deed to any British subject (and with Britain’s permission another nation). Thus the UK could (and did) accept protectorate role ( even though initially it did not intend to)…and had the right to transfer that Deed/Sovereign powers to Malaysia.-- So I hope you do more research on your country history ya... there's many history books in library and now no need to go to the library, you can just browse through the internet and do your research and do comparisons between all the sources that you've found ya... goodday...

I have a theory that we Filipinos start celebrating Christmas early in September ( not only because we love Christmas so much and it's the biggest holiday in the country )
but also because we are trying to avoid the "Christmas rush" when everything gets more expensive when you buy decorations and gifts for your loved ones and the traffic jam becoming worse when it's nearing 25th December...also, we will have to prepare and attend to a lot of Christmas parties for different set of friends, coworkers, and families.
The jeepneys were also American army jeeps from WW2 that were left behind and converted for public transportation.
Filipino is both a nationality and language. We only use letter P for native speaking or writing since our original alphabet doesnt have letter F.
@@suhotv6894 yeah true, it could be but it will be nice to differentiate the two by their letters and avoid confusion for foreigners.
This is in correct though "Note that Filipino is a language and Pilipino is what we call the people born on the Philippines"-
the word "Pilipino," which refers to the language spoken in the Philippines, was discarded in the 1970s because, similar to abakada, it included a recollection of Tagalog. "Filipino" was substituted for "Pilipino" in order to represent the latter's contemporary nationalistic goal.
Filipino is the standardized version of Tagalog.

@@zachzoldyck1796 It only did the opposite of "unification". It only made resentment.
@@epraizer999 yeah. Its still a problem way back pre-colonial era even Spanish colonization where they introduce that our languages are just dialects.
what do you expect from Philippine education system?
@@zachzoldyck1796 it’s also bc self-education with the magic of mass multimedia wasnt a thing til now. It’s kind of easy to see how the thinking formed: country = language; dialects = provinces. But yeah, if one region can’t understand 90% of what a second is saying, yeah-probably a different language
Anica: "A Filipino invented the karaoke machine"
Me: That is actually incorrect, a Japanese dude invented the karaoke machine but a Filipino patented it. 👍
Anica: "And one the thing is, mainly because transportation is quite hard for us to use."
Me: The texting thing or SMS is not because of transportation. 👍
Anica: "So the languages in the Philippines, consists if more than 170 fascinating dialects"
Me: Again, incorrect. #RealTalk

Daisuke Inoue (井上 大佑, Inoue Daisuke, born May 10, 1940) is a Japanese businessman best known as the inventor of a karaoke machine.

Answer: Japanese and Filipino
Stop being crab mentality dahil lang sa may unang nakadiskubre wala na karapatan ang Filipino inventor?
When I was in Manila this year, my friends had a karaoke party, and they all were singing so amazingly. They asked me to sing, and I told them Im no good at it. I rented a car and we drove all over the island exploring. It is very safe, and for such a small island, it is packed with tons of stuff to do. I highly recommend going there.

Thanks for information
You could have simply said Variant. For example, American English and Australian English are both dialects or variants of British English.

Even China don't call Cantonese, Hainanese, Sichuanese, etc a dialect of Mandarin Chinese (Standard Chinese language use in China)
from what i see from my filipino boyfriend, they really had good bonding to people they loved, they love to make 100 parties, karaoke, and travel to some island or beaches like once a month atleast !! and its true about nurse, here in my country indonesia its just doctor be a top notch.
The Brazilian girl's disposition reminds me so much of Jackie Burkhart (Mila Kunis) in the 70s Show. 😀
5:11 makes me so proud to see our city's Bamboo Organ Church being used as example in simbang gabi
as a Filipino I don't care about the topic I'm just hooked on that Brazilian beauty.😍❤️
Great video but a minor correction I would make is that the karaoke was PATENTED by a Filipino, not invented. A Japanese man was the one who invented the karaoke
Nope it was Filipino please give the credit the rightful.
Kaya nanalo siya sa kaso sa Japan mismo
@@allynsworld8317 I am giving the credit to the rightful person tho. A Japanese man was the one who INVENTED the karaoke machine in 1971 while a Filipino man holds the PATENT to it and also developed the Sing-Along system in 1975. Even the word 'karaoke" comes from Japanese which means "empty/missing orchestra"
And México invented the TV a lot of people don’t know that
In my fictional world, the Philippines has a lot of great public transportation
the girl in a white jacket is so smart and funny pretty❤️
Pilipino the best in quality...... kind.... happy......so just love......❤
Here in Baguio City…mass is also conducted in the market every Sunday in the afternoon. Visit the rice section at 3pm and you can join the mass if you like.
Americans brought nursing in the Philippines, and Filipino nurses are trained, educated well and eligible to work overseas. There are tests and examination for them and they got passed
That is their ticket out of the country.
Actually the practice of nursing was introduced much longer ago by Spanish religious orders to PH and not by Americans. PH biggest exports after WWII were nurses and engineers.
The brazil girl and the filipino girl looks so similar! Except the 2 ponytails and red hair
Some aspects very similar to Mexico
probably because it was colonized by the Portuguese

Christian mass in malls provides convenience to mall goers, especially sunday is also a family day and they chose to spend it in the malls. So what's more convenient than Mall + Christian mass in one place.
No, the reason Filipinos text a lot because calls are too expensive. Westerners use calls mainly and even have voice mails if they can't answer their phones. Filipinos just leave texts
Gregorio Y. Zara (8 March 1902 - 15 October 1978) was a Filipino engineer and physicist best remembered for inventing the first two-way video telephone. Zara's video telephone invention enabled the caller and recipient to see each other while conversing, laying the foundation for video-conferencing.
invented the first ever video call...😁😁😁
Slight correction, The Japanese inventor Shigeichi Negishi invented the first karaoke machine in 1967 called 'Sparko Box", then Daisuke Inoue his own machine in 1971. But Filipino Del Rosario holds the patient and developed the Sing-along system in 1975.
This video is really great because in my school we are learning about filipino traditions. (Yes, I’m a filipino) and it really tells what is common among us or our usual traits, I love video’s like these because it always tells abt our history.
She missed to say the big cross in Camiguin is an underwater cemetery.

I mean…the word ‘karaoke’ is a Japanese word for “empty orchestra”. So the true inventors should have their recognition. And I’m Pinoy as well.
L
Good thing nowadays there are different levels of phones here in our country.
I love the Brazilian girl 🤩🤩 she's so energetic and funny.. i would love to have her as a friend!!!

Tell your muslim indonesians that we're not the same okay?😊

As a Filipino, i never felt this proud. Thank you for representing our country! Mabuhay!✨❤️
in indonesia there is chruch in mall because its hard to get space for build church in the city, but i surprised philipines have that too even they are majority christian/catholic

Also known as North Borneo) have karaoke machine in each house and our favorite pastime is singing... hahaha...
Sabah is technically part of the Philippines. Malaysia is only leasing it from the Sultans of Sulu.
Thus the UK could (and did) accept protectorate role ( even though initially it did not intend to)…and had the right to transfer that Deed/Sovereign powers to Malaysia.--
So I hope you do more research on your country history ya... there's many history books in library and now no need to go to the library, you can just browse through the internet and do your research and do comparisons between all the sources that you've found ya... goodday...
Sabah people surely could still be called filipinos DNA-wise, but sadly they chose to be just malaysian by nation instead
Daisuke Inoue invented the
First karaoke 🎤 in 1971
While roberto del Rosario
Patent it in 1983-1986
He added a video so it's Videoke machine yoyo was a weapon in WW2 by mos Filipino gurellas like slingshot we called tirador
But yoyo was use in ancient times but patent by Pedro Flores and popularized in America

11:50 Nurses - One reason there are so many filipino nurses around the world is because the filipino people are so caring. The culture of the Philippines is very kind and caring so when they hire filipino nurses around the world they often find that it is more than 'just a job' for them. I moved from the USA to the Philippines in 2010 and the people here are the sweetest people I've ever met, found my sweet wife here.
The official lang of Philippines today is called Filipino.
