The two things that worked was food (only temporary given how fast dogs can eat), and the scent of a female dog in heat (this part the guard dog ignored everything around him except the scent.)
It's not going to work on a trained dog. It's been shown in numerous tests untrained dogs most often do a fine job at defending their people, but if it's just the house the untrained dog often just makes a bunch of noise.
I love Rottweilers' unabashed carnivorousness. (if that's a word) My dog would need the steak cooked medium well, seasoned thoroughly and cut into small, bite-sized pieces with no fat or gristle. Side of buttered baked potato and cous-cous NO garlic.

@@tasospontian7319. I have a 130 lb GSD Malemute mix. I was advised by a vet to mix up the proteins to prevent allergies. A local farmer prepackages 1 lb tubes of a 70% muscle meat and 30% organ, skin bone mix. He also gets whole fish on occasion. The dog is happy and healthy with the diet.

😂😂😂😂 brilliant

That pup went full on Sméagol with that bone at the end!

Yes and the burglar has been missing to this day. Old Rufus knows noooooooooothing.
I was told once that this trick works with every dog apart from German Shepherds.

He actually has pretty good manners. I like how he uses his paws to hold the bone down so he can pull the meat off. Smart dog.
All dogs do that, come on now.
Even stupids use their hands to eat food its natural 😅

I could watch this all day.
Thanks.
My rottie does the exact same she eats like there's no tomorrow and she was hungry for week just about anything I eat she loves 😂
Eating fast is the reason they can keep eating, gotta make sure they chew and eat slow so they get full or else they might get health issues
Plenty of fiber and minerals went down with it😂
Gotta eat fast might get your meal stolen

doggo living his best life

Yum grass blades, twigs and dirt.
Collin is that Junior?!! 😮😂
Not so Junior anymore huh?
Is the steak, FDA approved!!!
The dog said he approves.
Just a little snack Collin ?
He got a little bit of salad with it, nice to see he’s conscious about his health.
Welcome back Ranch! Nice looking snack
Healthy dog you can see the strength and power
Impressive! I'd estimate somewhere around 2.5 - 3 minutes for my face. Nice doggy.
Afterwards the dogs says, "Thanks for the appetizer." ::::looking around:::::: "Now, where is the main course?"
Did you subtract the weight of the bone?
How long does it take to train a dog after the first time

Anyone seen the mailman lately?

Doggos don't waste much time eating. To them, its a speed sport.
That's because in nature you can`t lose time while eating, that makes you more likely to be attacked by other predators
Everything dogs do is at 1000%. Probably why they live such short lives.
