One of the sweetest pooches I ever met is a Rottweiler. Can’t help but kiss his little face when I see him, then I quickly realize he could end me if he wanted. Then I kiss him some more…
Same her name was Natalie and she was convinced she was a lap dog. The only time I ever heard her growl was when a stranger came up to me and my cousins in their yard when we were kids. She had so much mama bear energy.
When I was in elementary school my best friend and I would go door to door offering to walk dogs. One neighbor had a pair of rotties and they were the sweetest, most gentle dogs. Love those big sweethearts!
Those were the days I remember too, calling on perfect strangers. Today the would probably cite your parents for not monitoring 24/7. Children have no idea what they're missing
Omg I remember me and my best friend at the time used to do that in our neighborhood. We encountered a rottie who was kept outside the yard all year round sadly and we would stick our hands thru the fence to pet him. He was so sweet and would always come up to us for pets
What total sweetheart! Whoever adopted her won the lottery, she has such a good temperament. All the Rottweilers I have met have been big goofballs that just wanted pets.
Honestly shocked she ended up at a rescue, she's gorgeous and such a great temperament! Wouldn't be surprised if it was over something dumb like an apartment building not allowing the breed 😞 They're really fantastic dogs and do NOT deserve their reputation.
They are a beautiful breed. We had to put our Rottie down last year. He was very lovable and protective of us. He was my road dog, he went with me on my errands. We love and miss him very, very much.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I see a Rottie on one of my mail routes that loves to bark a big bark, but when you walk closer to the house he stops and gives you this look like “hey wait a minute, you’re not supposed to do that! You’re supposed to run away!” 😂 when you start walking away from the house he starts back up again like he’e yelling “yeah! And stay out!”
THIS !! It's every Rottie I've ever known. Unless they have been specifically trained as a guard dog, they only look scary 😂. Most of them are like "Hey, Mom, Mom, someone is coming! Mom, MOM OH GOD THEY ARE HERE! Protect me 🥺"
It's all funny until one opens a door when your walking away from the house and mauls you. True story. It's never funny or ok for any dog to show aggression towards a mail person.
@@ladyspartafitness Barking isnt neccesarrily a sign of aggression. Its literally a guarddogs job. I have meet plenty of guarddogs (growing up in the countryside) that barked at you to make it clear, that you are not allowed to enter the property, while wagging their tail, basically saying, "i have nothing against you, but if you go over the fence without my boss being here, we will have a problem". And thats exactly what they are supposed to do. Which is also why mail boxes, when there are free running dogs around, generally are not at the house, but at the gate (well at least in my corner of the world).
I briefly had a pitbull who did the same. She pulled hard on the leash when people walked by and it looked like she wanted to tear their face off. But when they were past, she whined and cried for them to come back. She was amazing with people and dogs at the dog park, but did have a bad habit of jumping on people. She fell in love with one of the guys at the park who didn't mind her flopping all over him, though I felt awful about it 😅.
@@ladyspartafitness my positive interactions with dogs do not in any way invalidate your negative experiences with untrained, aggressive, and reactive dogs. I know that I’m incredibly lucky to have routes with very well-trained dogs that are excited to see the mail person, and that my experience is not the norm. I always test a dog’s reactivity and willingness to interact positively before taking the personal risk to deliver. There are definitely a few houses on my routes where I do not interact with the dogs because they have shown obvious signs of real aggression towards myself or the truck, and others where interaction is not in the best interest of the dog because they are working livestock guardians. A lot of my knowledge of aggressive behaviors and telltale signs of potential risks for aggression have actually come from watching the more “dangerous” and “reactive” cases on this channel, and that knowledge has helped me immensely in keeping safe in my interactions with dogs while delivering. I’m not looking forward to the day I get bit, but I’m sure I will eventually.
The sweetest dog I ever knew was Sophie. Sophie was a rotten rottie who lied about her people all the time. According to Sophie, no one *ever* petted her, and she was totally neglected. And nobody ever fed her either. What a sad life she had. According to Sophie.
I'm convinced that it was Rhonda who actually called on the phone and made the appointment haha, she seemed so calm, relaxed and fully cooperative during the whole process, she really seemed to be enjoying every step of the way.
There used to be a rottweiler around where I lived named Taz, she was a sweetheart. The first time she met our new dog (chihuahua) she realised she was scaring him, so she laid down and put her head on her paws and just stayed there until he approached her. After that, every time we saw them she'd immediately lay down. Our dog hekkin loved her and she was so good with him it was so sweet seeing them together. Unfortunately she passed last year and we miss her a lot.
Rescued a poorly bred greatly oversized rottie many years ago, I still miss him. He was one of the kids and so dang smart. He had some fear aggression from his previous abusive owners when I got him, was a lap baby within a couple months. Best diog ever.
@tansiwolf8281 Came across a guy walking 3 Rotties off leash. Turns out he rescues them from people who don't treat them right. These 3 were well recovered from their previous homes. 3 wonderful giant (full grown) puppies. Had a great time playing with them and making a fuss of them. Did get hurt by one once though. Was walking friends dog, (small to medium size) the Rottie and my friends dog were circling around each other, and when the Rottie was facing away fro me, my friends dog made a sudden move towards the Rottie, who took fright from the much smaller dog and leapt backwards, nearly flattened me! We had to laugh!
I have nothing but love for Rotties. They are the most loving bed hogs you could possibly own. The hubs and I bought a king bed so there was enough room for us and our baby grrrl. She passed 4 years ago and I miss her every day. We have wanted to get another one but the hubs was diagnosed as terminal and we just don't have the time to devote to training a puppy or fostering at this time. The hubs has told me he wants me to get another Rottie to keep me safe. I told him a Chiahuahua would be better for that. LOL😂
@@corkycobon1481 Well, you made me sad, and then laugh out loud in the next moment. So sorry about your baby grrl, and even more about the hubs. i agree with him though, another Rottweiler is a great idea.
Rotties seem to largely be incredible sweethearts. My smaller doggo is usually apprehensive of big, energetic dogs, but all rotties we meet during forest walks managed to win her heart. Love to read the cute stories ❤
When the boys were young [3 and 5] we rescued a three year old 100 lb. Rottie named Queenie. She had arthritis, asthma and one eye. Very protective of my wife and boys. We lived out in the country. The dog allowed no critters in the yard. Let the boys ride, scratch and roughhouse with her and ate it up. Wonderful girl. Insurance company for the house merged with another and wouldn't allow the breed and insure us. Changed companies. She lived until her 12th year. Still miss her.
We had the same issue when we got our male rottie had to change home owner insurance we also have a female jack russell they are two peas in a pod . He don't mind the chickens after a little training but everything else is game on only bad thing is he freaking pees on EVERYTHING !!!!!! drives me nuts 😂😂😂😂😂 I wouldn't own another breed rotties are the best
As someone who’s not a dog person. I remember being terrified of them as a child but labs Rottweilers and border collies were my favs they were always the friendliest and calmest dogs
What "indignity"? All I see here is a dog being given a professional bath and hairstyling for which she won't even have to pay! Pretty regal to me /for all amebas who see this and misunderstand- jokes and sarcasm exist :v
It usually takes a bunch of work to make them aggressive, but I grew up next door to a pair that was legitimately (trained to be) dangerous. It was always just a matter of time before they broke out of the fenced yard, mauled a passerby and ended up being put down. Love rotties, though, and even the ones who aren't too keen on most people seem to like me back.
@@Narangarath our boss‘ wife owns a Rottie and she’s so calm. One of my colleagues picked her up once and put her on his lap. All 60 pounds of grown dog. It took a minute for her to even start „softly“ growling. She mostly looked confused. I know that they can be dangerous and bad people flock to dogs like them but at least the one‘s I met have been great
@Narangarath so true. My childhood nanny dog was beaten, starved, neglected, tied to a tree in the Florida heat, and forcibly to bred 4 times in 3 years. But she never let it break her spirit. My dad may or may not have stolen her from that tree on a night out with friends. 😅 affectionately named Tequila, she was the sweetest, most emotionally intelligent dog I've ever had the pleasure to love. Only regret is not saving her sooner. It's the only breed I'll own.
I saw the movie The Omen back in the 70's and saw my first Rottweiler. I wanted one ever since then. Then in 2003 my dream came true, I received my female Angel, one year later I got my little buddy Caesar. So for the next 20 years I bred AKC registered Rotties. The best dogs I have ever owned. My customers came back for years to come because they loved the temperment of my dogs. Caesar lived for 15 years which was crazy for a dog of that size. My wife and I had to put him down he was in much pain in his legs. We cried like babies, the hardest thing I've ever had to do. I am tearing up now texting this years later.
@WhiteFishNinja You have a beautiful baby girl and she was a dream for Vanessa to groom ❤😊❤ I don't know how she ever ended up in a rescue situation, but I'm so happy that she found you as her new family ❤😊❤
Never had a Rottie but had a Dobie. She was a big, sweet goofy girl. Loved everybody she ever met except for one man. We were out walking and she got really nervous the closer we got. She positioned herself in front of me as he got closer and kept herself between the both of us until he walked by. She kept looking back as we continued our walk. There was something about him she could sense! Best dog we ever had!
my rough collie did that once. once she got incredibly scared of an old woman to the point i had to end up taking a different turn because she wasn't willing to even walk towards the street the lady was coming from. I have never seen her do this before or after.
When I was a kid my parents had a rottweiler called Lady and I absolutely adored her, she was so so good with me as a toddler and she was an excellent protector for the family.
When I was growing up, my grandmother had a Rottweiler. She was the best playmate. My mom died when I was 10 and I got a lot of comfort from that dog. I would lay my head on her and she would just curl around me.
They can be really good at telling our mental states. And are selfless in commiseration, especially when you're both affected so much at the loss of the same person.
We had a rottie in my early twenties. She was an amazing dog. I had a mutt that I rescued from a dumpster at work and a persian kitten. The 3 of them played and it sounded like a herd of buffalo . Wonderful memories. Cancer took her too young ❤
A great German breed , the Roman military used to use them to protect there cattle while crossing the mountains in Northern Italy on there way north , 1800 years ago,
A properly trained and socialized Rattweiler only becomes agressive if someone or something is threatening their family. Same as with the Bullmastiff, German Shepherd, Doberman, Cane Corso, and even the Labrador and Bully breads. . The most agressive dog I have ever seen is the Chihuahua. Good thing they are not big.
I would argue that if any breed deserves a negative reputation, it's chihuahuas. I've watched a lot of breeders and trainers on youtube and generally they all agree that the honestly meanest dogs are the smallest ones -- not because they were bred that way, but because most owners of little dogs treat them like pack leaders instead of giving them any amount of discipline. I've been bitten by dogs twice in my life, once by a German Shepherd and once by a Chihuahua, both because I was trying to pet them. The Chihuahua's owner didn't even acknowledge the bite or take responsibility for it.😐
What a difference the dog makes! The last one I watched was blind and deaf and was screaming due to age and condition. Big beautiful Rhonda is blessed.
I know a rottie-pittie who was likely bred to fight but is the biggest smoochiest snuggliest baby! He was literally rescued from the snow at 6 weeks. He had a missing muscle group on one leg and had a slight limp & appears to have been just thrown away while alive. He was likely rescued pretty fast, he was in good health and with exercise, his gait was fixed completely. He is a massive adult dog, but even when he believes there may be a threat, he does not choose violence. He’s very much the “let’s lock the scary thing in the bathroom/garage and let mommy handle it” kind of good boy. I am always cautious around dogs who are stronger than humans, that’s just common sense, but he is an absolute angel. And it’s beautiful that his missing muscle ended up saving him and giving him a wonderful loving family ❤
My sister had the most gentle rottie ever. Bear was huge at 130 lbs. but not fat! Children used to come to her door and ask if Bear could come out to play. Yea he was that sweet. He adored children. I miss the big goofy love.❤😢
Rhonda may be the cutest Rottweiler I've ever seen. Her little face is so adorable. At one point during the shower, you could see that she was looking at Vanessa, almost like asking permission to shake. And it appeared she was enjoying her head massage mid-shampoo too. She is SUCH a good girl. I love her so much... 😭😭❤
She’s incredibly intelligent. When Vanessa was gesturing to the wall, talking about how there’s no hair on the wall. Rhonda turned around and looked at the wall trying to figure out what she was talking about. Is what it look like.
Years ago my friend’s boyfriend had a HUGE Rottweiler. His name was Hunter, and he was an angel. He was always so gentle and sweet and I never heard him bark once. He passed away a couple years ago. He forever changed my opinion of his breed ❤
Had the opportunity to have a Rottweiler in my life years ago. My mothers ex needed his dog to be taken in, he was no longer able to look after him. We brought him home when he was 11, he spent 4 great years with us and passed away in our living room at 15. The biggest baby, scared of his own shadow, lovable guy. I miss his goofy smile and his habit of sticking his head in your lap right after drinking water. He was incredibly trained, thanks to his previous owner so we could never take any of that credit but was poorly looked after. We got him vet treatment, proper diet and exercise. Just so happy to have been able to give him the best remaining years of his life. ❤ I love Rotties
I watch most of your videos but have never genuinely felt like I was going to cry out of cuteness before. She's a perfect baby. I met a Rottweiler once who was waiting outside a shop with her human, and the second I said hello and held my hand out for her to sniff, she threw herself against my legs and essentially forced me to cuddle her - nearly knocked me over. The guy gave me a knowing chuckle and said "now she's never gonna let you go". The sweetest giant.
ronda reminds me of my rottie growing up as a kid his name was Buddy GOD rest his soul he protected my family loads of times when thieves tried to scale our fences and he cuddled with me and my siblings load loved his walks and runs round the neighborhood and always knew immediately when i was home
We had a rottweiler when I was a kid. My mom put a spike collar on her at first since she was unsure of her temperament, the kind that digs into her neck if the leash is pulled hard. We took her hiking and my mom was pulling hard as she was afraid and the dog was so big and strong, then the dog bit my mom's arm very very gently so as to communicate that the spikes were hurting her. My mom immediately understood what a sweet and controlled dog this was and took off the spike collar. She was the sweetest dog I've ever known.
I don't think I've ever seen a rottie this good for nail trims. I know we have no clue where she came from but whoever was responsible for training this angel of a rottweiler should be commended.
Mine were. But they were trained as puppies. Lots of treats and praise. They were taught to rollover on their back and we would dremel them in no time. Then lots of belly rubs❤
Funny how this vid comes up in my recommended, yesterday at work I saw the biggest Rottweiler in my life and it looked like such a teddy bear! It was looking at me from the counter with big brown eyes and a big smile 😊 I said “hi puppy!” Like I do with every other dog I see, and its little tail started wagging! I wish I could’ve given it a great big hug!
Rhonda reminds so much of my sweet Rottie girl Luxa. She too was a rescue and became a service dog for one of our friends. However our friend never got comfortable with Luxa and we adopted her. We had 9 glorious years with her until she succumbed to bone cancer at 11. Hands down, she was the smartest, the most loving dog I have ever been blessed to share space with. I still miss her every day. Thanks for sharing Rhonda with us. Although seeing her be so brave and stoic during her bath made me cry thinking about my girl it was joy to see this beautiful dog today.
I had 4 Rottweilers that spanned a period of 16 years and they were the sweetest dogs. My vet said they should be the poster children for Rotts - Elsa, Anzel, Eli and Ali Belle were their names. I would still have one if it wasn’t for my age and degenerative disc disease which forced me to downsize to Mini Schnauzers, Zach and Zoey. I love dogs. My Rotts would lay on their back, stick their feet up in the air for me to clip their nails. It was funny to watch.
Agreed, I love the look of Rotties with their tail still on, Vanessa was right this is not a typical dog you see up for adoption, very fortunate new owner!
Docking was made illegal here in Australia quite a few years ago now. I don't know why it was ever legal in the first place. Every dog should have a tail.
My uncle had a rotty and he was the biggest cuddly sook I've ever seen. He loved us kids so much, and was super protective of us. It's been like 15 years since he was alive and I still remember how much he loved it when we were at my uncle's house
I wonder how rescue she was. I really wouldn't be surprised if in this case it was something happen to her loving owner, an she rescue from a kill shelter an she rescue because no one her because of stigma attached to rottweilers so another non kill shelter rescue this sweety.
Around 30 years ago I lived in a small (but lovely) Bavarian village with a Rottweiler in the neighbourhood. When I passed the house on my way to or from work she would come to the garden edge ( no fence!) to greet me and get some cuddles. Anja was the sweetest dog I could imagine ( and I'm by nature a cat person). I've moved since but I still miss her kind and calm ways.
I have a 140 lb. Rottie, a 129 lb. Rottie, and a 50 lb mutt. People are afraid of my sometimes exuberant shepherd mix, but everyone loves my Rotties... one of whom can ride a skateboard. They are great pups!
Grew up with 6 dogs. Our Rottweiler was the sweetest, most loyal and obedient of them all. Apparently it took years of training to get her that way, but worth every damn second I'd say
my parents had a rottie when i was born, and he passed away when i was 8 years old from a cancer they found after he broke his leg and it wouldnt heal correctly. he was very sweet, and would let me sit on his back as a wee toddler. never had a bit of aggression and liked to eat kraft singles
I too, love Rottie’s. My. Aunty used to breed them and that’s where I got to know them properly and finally lost my fear of them. Thank you for sharing.
There's on the channel called The Farm. He's a rescue too and another sweetie. He got "happy tail" at one point I'm sure. His name is Freddo. His full story is on the channel if you want to check it out.
We had a Mal/Boxer mix named Underfoot (yes, that was her name) who loved baths and showers. We had to start locking the doors when we took showers because she was 80lbs of solid, energetic joy at knee height and would bullet train into the bathroom if we so much as turned on the tap to wash our hands. More than once if we forgot, we'd start taking a bath or shower and find ourselves with large, fuzzy company. I miss her but I know she's living up to her name and being underfoot of all the angels.
i had a rotty. loved her whole heartedly. we were bonded. i miss her terribly. she taught me how to speak dog. one of the few breeds with the ability to logic.
Wow she was amazing did you notice how proud she stood there couple times while you were drying her?!! Like she knew how to pose for a show dog. If u didn't go back and check out the time she was being dried. Shortly after you started!! She's amazing!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I just lost mine, I feel your pain. I don't think I'll ever get over losing my boy, the world just isn't as lovely without my Roscoe. Watching Rhonda was so sweet, they had the same temperament.
Thank you for highlighting how INCREDIBLE and misunderstood Rotties are. Rhonda was an angel. I loved the bit at about 6:13 and about 7:06 when you put the blow dryer or her shoulder and totally hit THE SPOT!! She loved that!! I have a Rottie cross (with a bichon frisée) and my mum started with all the stereotypes about them. “What if it’s aggressive? What if it hurts your daughter? What if it hurts the cats? What if it bites you? They’re aggressive aren’t they?!” She is one of those things. She is a registered Therapy Dog with a charity here in the UK and I take her to see patients at the Mental Health Hospital in the nearest town and also to a junior school to spend time with some of the children there that have various struggles and also to my daughters secondary school where we spend time with the Autistic children and then children with either anger issues, or they’re upset or struggling for various issues. Also my daughter (14)is autistic. My mum changed her tune so fast when she actually saw how incredible she was. To the point of even looking after her for me (which she would have never done before with any dog). She just wants cuddles and affection all the time. She’s scared of my cats, although she did raise one from being 5 weeks old that my daughter found abandoned. As for training, my daughter trained her (with my supervision) and she is so obedient and does as she’s told and can even do a few tricks! She’s 7 now and she is totally amazing. The best dog I could have hoped for, for both me and my daughter. So thank you so much for highlighting how wonderful they are. Xx
My mom rescued a Rottie boxer mix from a truck stop. He was practically skin and bones when she took him in. He got along well with her current dog Scarlet, a black lab. When I was born he was very protective of me as a baby and always took care of me. Fly high Murphy
Sad to think of a rottie being "skin and bones" because they're supposed to be really solid. Not overweight obviously, but solidly built. It's one of the awful things about breeds getting reputations for being aggressive and mean, bad owners will get them and treat them terribly.
I had a brindle Rot/Akita mix that was one of the best dogs I'd ever had. Very protective of my wife and daughter when I wasn't around but a total goofball when I was. So smart!! One story about her....She was playing with a friends daughter...they bumped heads or something and the dog went and hid under the table because the daughter started crying...but I told my dog to go say she was sorry and she walked over to the girl on the couch and just gave her the biggest lick on her face. It was amazing to see!
AS a former dog warden in training ,Its all about the training Rotts get, so some very vicious ones, but owners taught them to be that way!! Unfair for the breed...I like them!😊😊😊
I have trained my dog to be a guard/alarm dog. I have not trained him for violence. Instead he just starts yelling and barking an bouncing and causing a scene when someone's around and may accidentally knock them over in his quest for petting and attention if i don't stop him. Dogs don't have to be trained to attack to guard and i hate that there are people out there that do that still.
What a beauty! Rotties do not deserve their bad rep. Over the years my brother has raised and cared for five: two adopted as adults. Magnificent. Gentle. Highly sociable. Such dear faces.
I have had several breeds of dogs in my life and the Rottweiller was one of the most intelligent, loyal, protective and cuddly I have known. Brook my babygirl you will always stay in my heart sweetheart 👐❤
My brother had a 3/4 Rottweiler 1/4 St. Bernard. He was huge, very smart and super friendly and loving. He would even give small children rides. He was an awesome dog and we miss him.

I had the joy of owning a Rottweiler, Chewy was the sweetest, friendliest, most well behaved dog I ever had. He loved people, other dogs, cats and especially children. I cannot say enough good things about him.
There's a junkyard/car shop near me where they have a couple of Rottweilers & they are such sweethearts. They have that big, scary bark with that big, scary body but really they're big babies.
My first doggie was a female Rottweiler. She lived until she was 16yrs. Wonderful dog! Smart beautiful loyal. I will definitely have another one! Santanna ❤
Applies to all breeds. And I would argue that the smallest breeds should actually be the ones that have the reps that rotties and pitties get. Way more people are bit by teeny chihuahuas with Napoleon complexes than by any large breed. But even with those, it's absolutely the lack of training by the owners. People tend to assume that the smaller the dog, the less training is needed, but that couldn't be further from the truth.
You are 100 percent correct so many people jump into buying dogs with a lack of research or knowledge on breed traits and genetics and often don’t bother to work around their dogs needs
There are so many dogs that have a bad reputation just because they are BUILD strong so they were USED to fight. Which is awful and so sad. Showcasing these types of dogs with their usual sweet temperaments is really important and this was super heartwarming.

She is super cute and seems to have a good personality.
We love and miss him very, very much.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Im sorry for your loss. I understand, they leave a huge hole when they pass. Cherish all those memories… the car rides and companionship.
According to Sophie.
lol!
😆
Her life must have been so hard. She had to inform everyone that she had never been fed before.
Omg this is my Delilah!!! No one loves me. Haha
My Chrystal lied too. Even with cat litter pressed into her nose she NEVER ate cat poop. 😂😂😂
Most doggos are so much better than people! Love that she got down to his level to make a friend! She will be waiting at the rainbow bridge for sure ❤
So sorry she passed but so glad it sounds like she had a life full of love with a family who adored her ❤
Rescued a poorly bred greatly oversized rottie many years ago, I still miss him. He was one of the kids and so dang smart. He had some fear aggression from his previous abusive owners when I got him, was a lap baby within a couple months. Best diog ever.
@tansiwolf8281
Came across a guy walking 3 Rotties off leash.
@@grahammonk8013 lmao not always graceful
I have nothing but love for Rotties. They are the most loving bed hogs you could possibly own. The hubs and I bought a king bed so there was enough room for us and our baby grrrl. She passed 4 years ago and I miss her every day. We have wanted to get another one but the hubs was diagnosed as terminal and we just don't have the time to devote to training a puppy or fostering at this time. The hubs has told me he wants me to get another Rottie to keep me safe. I told him a Chiahuahua would be better for that. LOL😂
@@corkycobon1481 sorry about your hubbys illness dear
Now that is a man with his priorities straight.👏

We had the same issue when we got our male rottie had to change home owner insurance we also have a female jack russell they are two peas in a pod . He don't mind the chickens after a little training but everything else is game on only bad thing is he freaking pees on EVERYTHING !!!!!! drives me nuts 😂😂😂😂😂 I wouldn't own another breed rotties are the best
Good move!
Nice move switching insurance. They can kick rocks.
I went over a date 's house, and this humongous rottie brought me his toy when he met me. It was the CUTEST thing ❤
Same exact experience here. The dog got him a second date 😅
You passed the test. Congrats
So… second date?👀
Yeah, so?! Did you see them again?! The dog and the human I mean?
@@DeadAlcoholZombie The human? I thought you go on dates to meet the dog?? ; P
I used to know a 89 year old lady with a Rottweiler. That dog followed her, played with the grandkids. He was so gentle.
As someone who’s not a dog person. I remember being terrified of them as a child but labs Rottweilers and border collies were my favs they were always the friendliest and calmest dogs
Rhonda maintaining the most dignified expression while undergoing the "indignity" of a groom is sending me. Yassss Queen! 👑
What "indignity"? All I see here is a dog being given a professional bath and hairstyling for which she won't even have to pay! Pretty regal to me
/for all amebas who see this and misunderstand- jokes and sarcasm exist :v
Flip side- the👸🏿was looking like, you may bathe me now
Every Rottweiler I have ever met was the absolute sweetest doofus imaginable.
The only way they're usually dangerous is their combination of mass and enthusiasm. 😂
I know that they can be dangerous and bad people flock to dogs like them but at least the one‘s I met have been great
They always seem to be in love with our little terriers and want to play! 😂
I am tearing up now texting this years later.
spoiler alert ...she's a good girl!

Thank you for taking such great care of my rhonny baby! Vanessa you are the best!! Rhonda was very happy and loved her groom session.

You have a beautiful baby girl and she was a dream for Vanessa to groom ❤😊❤ I don't know how she ever ended up in a rescue situation, but I'm so happy that she found you as her new family ❤😊❤
She's a sweetheart ❤
@rondaboze4622 she came from Egypt 🇪🇬 I was fostering for a rescue and when I came across Big Rhonda I had to keep her. ❤️
Thank you for sharing your beautiful girl with us! I adore that face! You’re such a wonderful person to adopt her! I could squeeze her little face!🐾🐶😘
Be glad he didn't "play the fool", dogs have a 6'th sense about who people truly are!
my rough collie did that once. once she got incredibly scared of an old woman to the point i had to end up taking a different turn because she wasn't willing to even walk towards the street the lady was coming from. I have never seen her do this before or after.
When I was a kid my parents had a rottweiler called Lady and I absolutely adored her, she was so so good with me as a toddler and she was an excellent protector for the family.
Good comment. Well said.
As a kid I was read pretty much all the books about Carl the Rotweiller Dog.
My mom called hers Fraulein, which was german for miss or a young woman. She was so good with my baby. Miss her so much.
Cancer took her too young ❤
i am so sorry for your loss, i’m glad you have such sweet memories of her and thank you for sharing!
Absolutely No Barking! That breed does not deserve that reputation. No breed does!
from all my experience, the problem is always comes from the other end of the leash...
The Chihuahua's owner didn't even acknowledge the bite or take responsibility for it.😐
It’s like pit bulls. The viciousness comes from the human!!!!
We just had a beautiful Rottweiler boy come through our rescue. Never seen a dog get adopted so fast, and by such a good family.
They must be popular
I had a Rottie. . .from 4 mos old she passed away at 11 yrs old. . .broke my heart !! The Most loyal, loving dog & protected us with her life !!
He forever changed my opinion of his breed ❤
love it when you said I may call the owner and say she ran away, did you see her ? a big smile on her face
I didn’t realize that a dog could be embezzled. But I don’t blame her. That was one sweet dog!
This may be the best dog I've ever seen.
Don't tell my dogs.
I told your dogs and now they’re after you 🤣😂❤️❤️
Love Rhonda's composure. She has an air of nobility, calm & confident, not making a fuss.
I had a Rottenweiler for 13 years. He was my buddy. Smart and gentle as Lassie. One of the best dogs I ever had. Miss him. His name was Beau.
ronda reminds me of my rottie growing up as a kid his name was Buddy GOD rest his soul he protected my family loads of times when thieves tried to scale our fences and he cuddled with me and my siblings load loved his walks and runs round the neighborhood and always knew immediately when i was home
OH MY GOD, SHE’S SO GORGEOUS!!! I can’t BELIEVE someone gave her up!!! She seems SO SWEET!!!
LOVE that her tail isn't docked! What a big sweet bear ❤
And her ears are uncropped as well. Hoping the natural look is the new trend.

Docking was made illegal here in Australia quite a few years ago now. I don't know why it was ever legal in the first place. Every dog should have a tail.
My uncle had a rotty and he was the biggest cuddly sook I've ever seen. He loved us kids so much, and was super protective of us.

The only aggressive dogs are those owned by aggressive people. Dogs are just like kids. They reflect their environment.
my parents had a rottie when i was born, and he passed away when i was 8 years old from a cancer they found after he broke his leg and it wouldnt heal correctly. he was very sweet, and would let me sit on his back as a wee toddler. never had a bit of aggression and liked to eat kraft singles

Xx
I have a Rottie. It's always one of the saddest and most hurtful things to hear people judge her. She is the sweetest dog on earth and lives people!
I grew up with Rotties, they’re amazing. There’s no bad dogs, just bad owners IMO, thanks for sharing xxx
That was one of the calmest dog grooms ever! SO sweet!
She is so sweet. Very even tempered. Love the way she leaned into the blowdryer.

5:56p.m. I had a beautiful light brown rottie. No one could come into our yard. Then one morning we found her dead on the sidewalk. Some evil terrible person gave her poisoned meat. We were so devastated. She was so warm and loving especially with the children and she was very protective of them. We miss her so much.
I’m so sorry about your sweet baby. Hopefully that person is as unhappy as they made you that day
So sorry for your loss! They’re so sweet and misunderstood. I’m on my second Rottie.
I had a Rottie, and he was the sweetest and most gentle dog I've ever had. Such a loving heart.
in my life ive never met a mean Rotty. They have always been the biggest sweetest dummys i love them so much
I had the joy of owning a Rottweiler, Chewy was the sweetest, friendliest, most well behaved dog I ever had. He loved people, other dogs, cats and especially children. I cannot say enough good things about him.
One of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever had was a Rottweiler mix, he was huge and extremely powerful, but was always so gentle with people and other dogs
There's a junkyard/car shop near me where they have a couple of Rottweilers & they are such sweethearts. They have that big, scary bark with that big, scary body but really they're big babies.
it would be such a huge honor for someone like Vanessa to say they're obsessed with and love your dog!
My first doggie was a female Rottweiler. She lived until she was 16yrs. Wonderful dog! Smart beautiful loyal. I will definitely have another one! Santanna ❤
Bad owners is the problem in 99.9% of cases for Rotties & Pitties both.
👍💯
Applies to all breeds. And I would argue that the smallest breeds should actually be the ones that have the reps that rotties and pitties get. Way more people are bit by teeny chihuahuas with Napoleon complexes than by any large breed. But even with those, it's absolutely the lack of training by the owners. People tend to assume that the smaller the dog, the less training is needed, but that couldn't be further from the truth.
You are 100 percent correct so many people jump into buying dogs with a lack of research or knowledge on breed traits and genetics and often don’t bother to work around their dogs needs
tell to the two bennard babies
@@addiey9312 I did say 99.9%, right? Plus, there's no real history about the dogs in the incident, nor what may have triggered the attack.
There are so many dogs that have a bad reputation just because they are BUILD strong so they were USED to fight. Which is awful and so sad.
Showcasing these types of dogs with their usual sweet temperaments is really important and this was super heartwarming.
RHONDA is stunning. Owned four rotties years ago. My fav large breed.
