One dog putting their head in another’s mouth is a huge sign of trust, that’s so sweet
Dozer gives a few signals of distress when she does it, thou...
May just be for the uncomfortable sensation, but better keep an eye out...
I had a very naughty windhound mix and when she didnt obey, a friend of hers (a mix of irish wolfhound and giant Schnauzer, 60 Kg) used to take her whole head in his mouth or he ran her over. To me its more a sign of educational dog behaviour.
Putting their head into another's mouth as a sign of trust. Sounds like humans too ;]
The little dog was just sniffing the big dogs mouth, theres a tonnes of cool exciting scents in there!! Lol no threat at all.

It always amazes me how gentle big dogs can be with their mouths.
Because mouth play is a thing for them. My rottie does it all the time.
Agreed - I’m far more cautious playing with small dogs. Most that I’ve encountered don’t have a care in the world when it comes to their bite. Meanwhile I’m totally comfortable putting my hand in my pit’s mouth. 😁
I have a Pitbull/Boxer/Husky mix that has a steel trap for a mouth. When she clamps down it is hard to get something out of her mouth. But when she accepts a piece of food or is playing, she is extremely dainty. I can feed her something off of a fork and she doesn't even touch the fork with her teeth.
i am playfighting with my dog every day since 7 years. it makes him happy. he never made the tiniest scratch on me with his teeth ever (because we fight so often he is very sensitive with his mouth). even if we move really fast and the object that he wants is in my hands, if he accidentaly catches my hand, its always gentle.
but beware of the claws^^ i almost always have scratches from the front paws claws, when he tries to stop a fast moving toy (held by me) with the pawns.
@@certaindeath7776 My girl is the same way, even when she greets me in the morning. We taught her not to jump up because she's so big, strong, and energetic, she can jump about as high as your face. So now I get greeted by her "WoooWOOOOOOOOO!" She then gives me a hug, sits down, and paws at me to sit down next to her so I can pet her and say hello. Sometimes her paws hit bare skin and they don't feel so great, but it isn't something she's trying to do to hurt me.
Not only is this funny, it’s also precious.

Its lovely to see a rottie being gentle I've always been wary because they're big dogs. I work in a vets and one of our clients has a rottie and when he brought him in I was nervous but the rottie came over to me licked my hand so I started stroking him and then he laid on his back paws up so I could rub his belly he was a true gentle giant its a just a shame the breed has a bad rep

@@pateris I don't know if it's really true or not but it has been said by many animal trainers that dogs don't or can't always tell size when meeting bigger or smaller dogs. I doubt that's true though.
@@stevepatrickjarvis I must admit I don't either !
Every dog is a wolf.
Fascinating they’re both aware of they’re size and literally play into it…

I had a couple of Rottweilers male and female, and I used to cuddle them and take them on my knees all the time when they were puppies.
A couple of years later they grew into wonderful and beautiful full size adults (a bit more than the average to be honest 😅 the male weighed 130lbs ), and he was absolutely not aware of his size as he would run and jump into my arms to sit on my knees all over me and get kisses… 🥰🥰 I miss them so so much, I wish they could live as long as us...

Dog’s personality always reflects the owner’s.
@Wynn General personality of lovingness and friendliness are reflection of the owner
Not entirely true. I had a Belgian Malinois, and he was treated very well. Would protect me with his life. But, I witnessed him killing baby rabbits, despite screaming for him to come back, attacked a cat once, pigeons and even though I'd be upset with him for days, and he knew, even had a look of guilt and would want to avoid the carcass afterwards, I could not control its prey drive. My dog might simply tear this puppy to shreds. Its in its DNA.
@@roderickthered4981 bruh my sisters Rottweiler did the same. He'd kill rabbits, baby rabbits, birds, and neighborhood cats who got too close. Thats just a big dog thing, alot of them were used for hunting dogs. So like I said this dogs killed rabbits and cats, and then my dumbass decided to get a kitten. Hilarious enough he adjusted well, but the other dog (boxer great dane mix) got bullied by the cat when she was a kitten. The rottie doesn't borther the cat the cat doesnt bother him. I even caught them snuggling. You gotta introduce them slowly calming. Also puppies are your safest bet. Dogs arent goldfish they wont canablize or kill their young. The most important part is introducing right.

Heart warming to see rotties with their tails intact ❤
It's illegal in Australia to dock their tails and I agree with that law but can confirm that if a wagging Rotty tail hits you in the eye or testicles (I've experienced both), you kinda understand WHY they were docked. I'd rather be punched in the face tbh, it REALLY hurts!
@@MichaelJP it is stupid to outlaw it. Many of them get tails docked for health concerns for the dog itself. They are a massive breed with very high energy and the long tail can easily put them in compromising positions, especially in cases of home defense which they are great for, or working land which is what they are breed for. While I do like seeing them with tails it makes complete sense for most to want them docked.
@@InfiniteKhaos The only reason I see for most really wanting them docked is looks, they wouldn't have them if they weren't supposed to.
No idea how tails affect their defensive/working abilities, you got a source for that belief?
@@MichaelJP it's not a belief it's literally the reason people do it. For home defense it's so criminals can't pick them up by the tail and render them useless. For land work it's so they don't get their tail caught up and get trampled on... You want sources? A simple Google search might help

When I found a litter of Australian/Cattle Dog puppies in an abandoned house, I brought them and their mother home to raise. At the time, I also had a 130lb male Rotti named Mojo. He watched over them like a proud Daddy! Mojo would 'babysit' the litter, have them hanging off his ears and climbing all over him...but he never got cross. And you know those puppy teeth are razor sharp! But he would just love on them. Miss you Mojo! Best dog I've ever had in my life.
So sweet. Mojo sounds like he was a lovely old soul. No better quality in a dog in my opinion
@@michaelbigelow3255 Thanks, but I had no choice once I found them. We found them all good homes mostly on ranches/farms except for Stasch.
This all happened in a February blizzard at about 7500' in SW Colorado. I originally found 6 puppies that the mom led me to. After getting them settled into my nice warm camper trailer, I went back to the shed to double check.
That's when I found one more tiny male who had managed to get himself stuck under an old couch. The wind died down just enough to let me hear his frozen whimper. He was almost gone but I placed him against my skin inside my parka. And tore that shed apart to make sure I didn't miss any others. He lived about 14 years with me..sweet loyal boy, HUGE paws.
I'm a grown ass man, 3 kids, beautiful wife and I like to think I have things together to some degree but as soon as i read that "Miss you Mojo" on came the waterworks. You never forget what they meant to you and the pain never truly goes away. You can only think back and appreciate the time you had together.

@@elisemiller13 Well it depends on the zoo. There are some pretty incredible zoos that are indeed the way you describe them. But there are also LOTS of zoos where animals are kept in very small and inadequate environments and they are kept solely for the profit of the zoo owners. I've seen too many videos and images of animals in zoos kept in tiny inadequate concrete enclosures and they look miserable. Zoos like that should be illegal.
I love Rotties. I've had 4 myself over the years and they are such great dogs. They know their strength and capabilities and will be very gentle with puppies and small breed dogs as well. They are also great with babies and small children. They are tough dogs and don't get hurt very easily, so if a baby or small child pulls their ears or slaps them, it doesn't hurt them plus they acknowledge that these small humans mean them no harm and like a puppy. They are very gentle and even protective over a baby or toddler. I'd take my Rotts to dog parks often and some people would be afraid that they would hurt their puppy, but I assured them not to worry. They would love to play with the puppies and act just like one themselves. Like I said; they know their strength and power and are very gentle with puppies. They would even submit to the puppies by running from them and then lying down when the puppy was playing and biting them. There's something calming about Rottweilers that puppies pick up on. They sense that they're safe to be around them and try to engage them in playing with them.

All my Rottie's we're like this when we brought a new "family" member home. Our last was a Blue Pittie, rescued from a fighting situation. (They were dumping her at the pound because she wouldn't fight) We just happen to be walking in to look for our next rescue & we took her right then & there in the parking lot. She was only 12 weeks old, full of scars & her ears were poorly cut w/rusty scissors, almost down to her head😭 Got her home & my Rottie somehow knew he needed to go slow w/her. Within 2 days, she was jumping on him, bringing him toys & running around the yard. They're favorite pastime is tug of war😆 She is now a healthy happy 5 yr old. We also have 2 other dogs & 2 cats. Rotties are such gentle giants. My family has had three in total. Two were when I was very young, maybe a toddler. My parents never planned on having rotties btw, one just followed my mom home one day and she was like “well guess we have a second dog now.” They we’re practically second mothers to my brother and I. They’d come check on us constantly and would follow us around the house and let us lean on them for support when we were learning to walk.
Our current rottie is my boy. He is so good with kids. He’s normally very rambunctious but he’s like hyper aware of himself when he’s around small children, he makes sure not to knock someone over. He’ll find the nervous ones and just sit on their foot and lean against them. He’s the sweetest boy.
They are. I have a Boxer and he loves Rotties.
My first experience with Rottweiler is when I was about 7-8 y old. My family just moving to new house and greet new neighbor, who got this really big dog. The dog looks really scary and intimidating, but he really nice and friendly to us (in first meeting) I forgot his name already, but I never forgot my first impression
I had one from elementary through high-school. Was almost like a babysitter. Waited for us to catch bus to school then be waiting for us to get home. Used to practice his herding skills with my bro a sis when we had deep snow running back and fourth knocking us over to stay put. 😆 Love Rottweilers!

These behaviors are dangerous in large powerful breeds but largely ignored in small ones. Kids come along and get bitten by untrained dogs.
They are just simply adorable.
Adorable chiquitín,es como una pulguita odiosa.
Hermosos angelitos
The big guy is so friendly and loving of his little sisters. Hes a very good protective big brother I'm sure
Oh,she’s super duper sassy lol 💕💖🥰
Hello Glenda🌹 it's nice meeting you here on UA-cam. Where are you from?
These dogs are so precious💗💗
Slightly of topic, but the look of the rottweiler in the thumbnail is the exact expression my dog used to have whenever he used to 'casually' try to steal food off of my plate! 😂 He was always really gentle, and would delicately bite it while giving me a look that said "you don't need this".
I love you Riley! ❤ RIP ❤️
Frenchies are like tattoos... They are addictive and can get a bit expensive. I love my lil guy so much 💙❤️❤️🔥
By the dogs behavior you can see it is a very calm, safe, and loving environment they live in.
What a Beautiful tough Guy
I was having a terrible day until I watched this. That is the sweetest thing EVER! Thanks for sharing that.💜
Don't take the v@ccine trust in the LORD ALMIGHTY and if you already taken it please pray to GOD about it because it is a deception!!.!...!!!..!.!.
JESUS is coming soon and JESUS is the only way to salvation accept JESUS as your LORD and SAVIOR today!!.!!!...!!!!
Love how he was so gentle while they were playing tug of war. So cute lol
I am 100% a cat person, but the pogo stick bounce at 2:36 still gives me life! While Daisy and Mocha both love their big brother, I know Dozer is _bound_ to be happy Daisy has a high-energy sibling now.
Yes! That's too cute! Didn't notice that.
Join the dark side and become a dog person. Those aren't even the cutest dog puppies
I love this. We had a Rottweiler mix before our 1st daughter was born. He guarded her like crazy. Always had kitty's too and he loved them laying on his back. Sargent was the best dog❤❤❤
The Gentle Giants♥️♥️♥️
The size difference is hilarious! They are all playing so well together!

Ahhh I miss my Rottweiler so much. They're such a charismatic breed
May you have many, many years of all of the love and devotion that they bless us with, and that the lucky ones like yours receive in return. I've recently lost my last two within 2 months of each other and I am grieving beyond words. Thank you for making a good home for all of your pups.
Hi how are you and I guess you are a pet's lover?
Oh you guys! Always making me tear up. And what now- another even tinier dog at end. You know exactly how to pull on these heart strings!
Thats why we love dogs so much
It’s so cute to see the oldest playing with puppies
Dear God, this would be a dull world without our canine friends. I’m 61 years old and I’ve been a dog owner since the age of 21. I truly love animals.

Hello 🌹 it's nice meeting you here on UA-cam. Where are you from?
her making money off of the dogs is also precious lol
That was so funny when the second puppy showed up...that Rottweiler was like "oh my goodness". You could see it on his face.
When we got our Jack Russell five years ago, we thought our lab would be great with it, but was concerned about our Shepherd. She’s the queen bee, the smartest one, and our guard dog. Well, our lab was okay with it. But they sort of developed into rivals and spend more time doing things to purposely annoy each other. So the Jack Russel turned to the shepherd for a playmate, and at first she didn’t want anything to do with him. Well, he wouldn’t give up either. And then she started to respond in a way that was like, “I deign to notice you, peasant.” Anyway, it’s been that way ever since. Well, until recently. Now she’s too old to play with him and in the next couple of weeks I’m going to have to get her put down because she has cancer. But poor Joey. He just doesn’t understand. He barks at her almost constantly, like: “Play with me, play with me!” Of course, she can’t. And she can’t hear him anyway.
It's a very very sad time when a member of your family is slowly wasting away and you can't do anything about it but keep them comfortable. My heart goes out to you and your family as its a very hard decision to make . A part of you will probably be in denial and she will get better and the other part is seeing the pain. I hope you get through this and think of all the happy times you had with her. God bless you and your family
