- Took theKraton 6s to the track for a bash day finally got a new body for this thing and every time I take this truck out it amazes me how tough and well it performs

So I have the 4S Kraton and really enjoy bashing with it. I've been looking at the 6S pretty hard. My Guys at the Shop say my Talion is more than a match for it. I'm thinking more and more that a 6S Basher would be a great buy. Keep my Talion for Speed and just Bash the Kraton til there's no more tomorrows. I have to say I'm really liking your videos. You and Rich Duperbash are true bashers and I always enjoy and good Bash. I'm 58 and every bit a Kid at heart, at least that's what my wife and 13 Y.O. Grandson say.
I have a great time bashing the 4S Kraton also the Talion is an awesome car it has a lower center of gravity and stays planted to the ground really well, the Kraton might be slightly better just do to more suspension but yeah it will definitely give it a run for it’s money. but I really appreciate the kind words and watching the videos man, I don’t think we ever really grow up we just grow older LOL
the more and more i watch you drive the 6s it makes me want one, but with the new redcat hopper i kinda want to preorder it as well XD so many cool rcs i want lol, great vid bro
Thanks buddy I really appreciate it and the support man. But honestly the 6S line is my favorite overall lots of power they handle great and the Kraton is just a blast it’s so easy to control and predictable it makes it a ton of fun to drive.

Thinking 6s but leaning towards the Typhon but it's a 50/50
@@donuttime2507 I would say to choose between those 2 trucks would depend on your terrain.. Also 6s has more ground clearance, typhon is nimble. Obviously a massive weight and cost difference lol. Both awesome trucks tho 👌

Great video! Your jumps are sooo smooth. I can't tell which handles better for you, the regular Kraton v4 or EXB. Can you tell a big difference between them performance wise?
Well as of right now I would say the regular V4 handles better but that’s probably because the EXB has a locker in the rear differential right now. When and if I ever get the new differential from Horizon Hobby I’ll be curious to see if the EXP handles as well as the V4

@@BarstoneRC really haven’t drove an Arrma product yet I didn’t like . But the fun factor and durability with the 6s is unique to the industry. The Kraton 6s is the first rc that ive felt just begs you to send it you know

Yeah everything is stock, I usually leave most of the electronics with the stock systems but I do think I’m going to get a max six combo for the EXB possibly.
@@BarstoneRC Kool. Yeah man that sounds sweet man. My EXB I have the stock BLX electronics and a nice power hobby servo. Definitely get over 300oz at 6V if you ever get a servo.
Yeah I put the stock BLX system in it when I got it but I’m contemplating putting something bigger and it’s just to see how I like it?
Trying to decide between this or the Sledge. I have a coupleof 5000 Traxxas batteries already for my Rustler. They just dropped price on Sledge but it is a toss up between the two.
Both cars have their strengths and weaknesses, but I will say this the differentials and drive training are a little better in the Kraton

No the chassis so far has been holding up well.
Fun bash session and nice place to do it at! Thanks for the video. I saw your bash session of a Big Rock V3 which I have. My one and only legit basher RC. Was looking at a 6S model but can't decide between a Krayton and Outcast. Would one of those be too similar to the Big Rock I already have? or is the 6S really making both a different beast all together?
Anything you recommend I ask myself to help decide between Krayton and Outcast?
I do like doing wheelies like the Outcast offers, but figure the Krayton can do it too but with more intention and it seems to handle better on flat turns. Thoughts?
The outcast is a great and really fun car you can really backflips really easily and it doesn’t handle bad at all but yes the Kraton does handle better and flies a little easier in the air but it depends on what kind of terrain you’re going to be running on also, I don’t know if you thought about a buggy but the Typhon 6s is a blast it’s extremely fast it handles great it jumps nice but if you’re going to be running it in taller grass it’s not as good for that stuff.
@@BarstoneRC Thanks for the quick response. When you say the Kraton is easier to handle in the air is that b/c it tries to keep level due to the longer wheel base? Meaning the Outcast is harder not because it falls short but rather it flips too easily and is sensitive to rotating it to where you want it? Meaning Outcast is easier to flip but Krayton is easier to control?
Not interested in the buggy b/c I do want to run it in mostly offroad and mostly interested in wheelies and air.
Yeah that’s exactly what I mean the Kraton because of the long wheelbase it doesn’t flip and rotate as easily it will do it, but it’s just a little more controllable in the air now if you’re looking for backflips and a more touchy car in the air than the outcast is the way to go. But I run my Typhon 6s off-road all the time on motocross tracks and BMX tracks and it’s my favorite car for jumping and big air.
Is this the v5?? I’m thinking about getting it for my second arrma rc...I want a 1/5 Kraton or outcast but I think the 6s are more durable looking
This is the V4 bought it about 4 months ago. The truck it a blast, probably my favorite but I just got the Kraton 8S also and so far I have been very surprised with how it’s been holding up and pretty durable.

No I actually put the EXB chassis under it it’s held up very well so far.
@@BarstoneRC nice man yeah EXB chassis is alot tougher. You don't get more than 60 feet she will hold up well. Arrma is now sending me a new rear diff for my EXB. It's V5 Kraton diff case and whole differential so that's what they're doing now since the LSD are on back order. My rear differential now with new gears install still is very crunchy and locks up so can't use it. Not sure probably diff case or something is bad. Very werid.
Well I haven’t heard too many problems with those differentials yet so hopefully it holds up for you. But that chassis has held up very well I’ve launched it over 130 feet distance with about 35 to 40 feet in the air and I have yet to bend it or tweak it.

Ohh on the 4s. Yeah when it landed really hard multiple times it broke the wire loose from that little cap Pack that’s on the ESC wires I have now soldered it back on and fixed it.
@@BarstoneRC of course you managed that with your esc! How didn’t the car break as well or did the entire thing combust along with the esc

If they are shimmed from the start they’re usually pretty solid

I geared it up a couple teeth but I have changed this car a lot now recently

how the hell do you get access to a mx track when its closed? every track i have ever seen is locked up, real well
I spoke with the owner a couple years ago and told me as long as there’s not bikes on the track I’m welcome to use it
@@BarstoneRC your lucky to be able to have that spot. I have gone up to multiple property owners and noone wants to let me drive my rc on their property. Its no wonder theres no hobby shops left, no one will let me drive my car. If i was just getting into the hobby for the first time i would have sold whatever stuff i had and be done with it because there no good spots to drive.
