I had the same problem with these servos but what I did to fix it was I shimmed the servo spring with retaining clips. so when you turn it doesn't split. And I use losi 100wt shock fluid and I tighten the springs all the way down. Happy BASHING! 👍🏻
Sweet jumps! Looked like a fun first bash. Stock ARRMA 6s trucks definitely don’t have the best steering. The servo saver is set up a little too soft unfortunately. Great video!
@@DerbyCityRC be honest everything I have and others I hear that they only throw 30 weight in everything, like 30k diff lube IN front and rear diffs just about everything under 8s. Center diff in 6s is 100k. I put 500k in the center of the Kraton and the Notorious left the center at 100k and changed the rear and front diffs to 50k.

Maybe more pre load? some thicker shock fluid and two hole piston? or as you say stiffer springs nice vid its super stable in the air. My guess on steering is servo saver.
I’ll definitely experiment with the preload adjustment and shock oil. I’ll probably start with that servo saver as well. Seemed weak for the size of the truck. Thanks!
Dang sorry to hear that. After much abuse I finally have one bent shock shaft. Pretty much everything else got upgraded. Never ever had a dog bone pop out but I’ve heard of that happening quite a bit.
@@DerbyCityRC And this is light bashing, maybe a 3ft jump in the grass, i didn’t land correctly but still shouldn’t be that fragile. I repaired it but it happened again. Hopefully i have better luck with this Kagama that came in today.
Yes, I added some shims/ snap rings to the servo saver and replaced with this servo. amzn.to/47vdWrp I also added bearings to my steering linkage. 50 weight shock oil seems perfect front and rear to stop bottoming out for my setup. Also steering rate will help turn quicker or slower.

@@DerbyCityRC I think they do that so its cheaper on them and we dial in with the weight we want on how we drive.
