I can't believe that the 2000's started 22 years ago, and concluded 13 years ago. It's the era that I, and many others, came of age in, and I remember all of these flicks like they were yesterday.

I hate getting old
I still feel like the decade should be new.
The movies of the 2000s I watched and had a fond of were:
- Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith
- Spider-Man Trilogy
- Shrek 1 and 2
- Harry Potter films
- Lord of the Rings Trilogy
- Transformers 1
- Some of Studio Ghibli films, like Spirited Away.
- Bionicle movies
- The Dark Knight

2004 was a cracking year, I was 17 and got Eternal Sunshine and Napoleon Dynamite both films I still love !

I remember showing my brother both "Mean Girls" and "Legally Blonde" back in the day, and he was initially reluctant, protesting that they were "Girls' movies." But luckily, he enjoyed them both more than he expected, saying that they surpassed his expectations.
I have only seen bits and pieces of Legally Blonde.
Did he like them as much or more than American Pie & Superbad?

@@davidz3879 He liked them on par with those movies, he found it interesting to see high school from a female perspective, just as I managed to relate to those male perspective movies, despite being female. They can resonate with anyone, regardless of gender.
I checked out Mean Girls not too long ago, it is definitelt a girl movie just like Grease but it has its moments. Rewatchable for sure

How are any of those 2000s nostalgia? Most aren't set in the real world in the 2000s.
Because title is misleading, it says nolstagic 2000s movies, not movies specifically made between 2000-2010 that are also supposed to take place and give nostalgia about living in the 2000s. I’m which case, half of those movies don’t accomplish that. They are nostalgic cuz of when they came out and their plot, not the setting they take place in. Like #1 borat? It’s nostalgic cuz when it came out it had a very distinct sense of humor and lots of people found it hilarious. But when i think of borat I don’t think about, oh he lived in the 2000s. Stupid title by watch mojo on this video honestly.
I agree with the original comment, I get more nostalgia for the 2000s from lord of the rings or Harry Potter than I do from borat.

Do The Top Ten Most Nostalgic movies of the 2010s yes its still fresh in our minds but you got memorable movies like Kick Ass, Get Out, Bad Moms, Don Jon, Magic Mike, Crazy Stupid Love, Bridesmaids, Project X, Easy A, Scott Pilgram, Silver Linings Playbook, Ted, and Friends With Benefits just to name a few that reflects the yesterdecade
Too soon. Maybe early 2010s but not the entirety of the decade.
Bring it On and Napoleon Dynamite and The Fast and The Furious and Superbad and Lost In Translation and Brokeback Mountain and High School Musical and Borat are my favorite 2000s movies or movie on Hulu or on Netflix or on TV or on the DVDs
I can't believe that watching a movie from the 2000s now, is like watching a movie from the '80s in the 2000s.
And watching a movie from the 90s today is like watching a movie from the 60s in the 90s or watching a movie from the 80s today is like watching a movie from the 40s in the 80s. Weird how time flies.
I can't believe Top Gun 1 and Home Alone are almost 40 years old.

I know the woman who played the DA in "Legally Blonde, " She used to be a minister at the church I go to, Now she's the lead minister at a church in Oregon,
I never watched The 40-Year-Old Virgin back then since I was still just a kid, but I remember seeing posters of it hanging on the walls and windows of video stores and that brings back memories for me 😊

The mid-2000s were such a good time. This was roughly my last years of elementary school, middle school and high school years and man it was so much fun in terms of all the good movies that came out

Could not agree more about 40 Year Old Virgin but i also feel that one of my other nostalgic 2000’s movie is Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back directed by Kevin Smith circa August 24th, 2001.
‘Brokeback Mountain’ is still one of the best movies in 2000s and also my most favorite LGBTQ movie.

8:50 = Superbad the movie that became one of the best of the decade since 2007 , plus it's my favorite movie . Since it teaches us that even though we are almost going to graduate we should spend it the last year of high school and go to a big party . [and my ultimate favorite character is Mclovin]
