Top 10 or 20 video game villains who turned out to be underlings
I wish we had a time machine for real i want to relive 1990-2017 and this time i would fix the mistakes that i have made
A prophet was a phenomenal movie. I have new videos up!
I love Almost Famous! 💖
"My friends, you bow to no one". Still gets me the teary eyes, 19 years later.
Tears man
Excellent scene, The Fellowship of the Ring is still the best film in the trilogy though. Easily in my opinion as well. All 3 are excellent films though. 👍👍
@@PeterAtkinson yeah fellowship is also my favourite. It didn't have a lot of political story lines
@@PeterAtkinson i must be the exception, to me Two Towers is the best by a mile. Call it the Empire Strikes Back formula, where you separate the group and it just works. Merry and Pip and the trees were kinda blargh, but the ROhan storyline, sam and Frodo and GOllum, theres just a sense of dread, I will take Towers over all of the other middle earth movies any day. King as actually the *weakest* in my view
Two towers by far is the best 🔥🖤💯✨

@@musicaholic119 tbf its a pretty great film
The prestige needs to be on here
Thank you, good sir! You are indeed a gentleman and a scholar
No Blade is an absolute shame
Great director , amazing story , incredible actors , memorable performances , unbelievable characters and then you have The Dark Knight
lol 😂
It has it all!
We talk about Batman: The Dark Knight, and Iron Man, but let's not forget how Spider-Man introduced humor and heart to the superhero movie, and let's not forget how X-Men itself (2000) was what started the notion of giving more to such a movie than just action and special effects, like personality, emotion, social commentary...
Nah forget all of that pussy shit
Blade
Hellboy 1&2.
The Punisher (2004).
Watchmen:The Ultimate Cut.
Spider-Man 2 is much better than iron man
@@saifkhan-ln7dd IKR.
I have been rewatching Sam Raimi's Spider-Man Trilogy for over 20 years and i never tired of watching it.
It's super fun to watch.
The Lord of The Rings Trilogy will always be a masterpiece. Hundreds years from now or even more, nobody should ever touch Peter Jackson's creation to remake it. It's impossible, you'll never capture his vision
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy truly is a once in a lifetime type of movie(s).
Hundreds of years from now? Lmao
@@luckydiamond77 People are still talking about the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, even after about 20 years. Certainly has a cult following.
Never seen the movies the looked boring.
To say it’s impossible is just wrong. Personally I’ve never understood this idea that a film can’t be reimagined
I am very surprised that Spider-Man 2 (2004) is not on here
Same
Me too
Yeah
Yea I’d put it on here in place of ironman
@@jrad410 yeah it’s waaaay better, but the first one was the best tho imo. Spiderman 1 was the true movie of my childhood
Your picks were great, but Spider-Man should've been at least an honorable mention
I bet this was a truly difficult list to make considering how many great movies that came out in the 2000’s.
These movies definitely made a huge impact for me considering how they came out during the adolescent part of my life.
Almost Famous should have been in the top ten
Requiem for a dream deserves at least an honorable mention, imo
The 2000s is one of the best decades for films of all time. Lord of The Rings, Iron Man, Spotless Mind, No Country, Spider-Man 2, Kill Bill, Inglorious Basterds, Dark Knight, Casino Royale and many more. Still a timeless time for films 🙏🙏🙏.
So many gems it’s hard to narrow the whole decade down to 20.
We were happy and we didn't know it. Even the bad ones were fun.
Now most of the movies are 💩☹️
And yet they barely picked half of those 🤦🏽♂️
Movie making peaked and then just got redundant and simple
2000's was real turning point in the way we make films. across all genres
LOTR and the TDK definitely stood out to me of the entire 2000s not going to lie.
I can’t believe there was no mention of David Lynch’s “Mulholland Dr.” Should be the top film on this list, if you ask me.
Agreed 100%. Absolutely great movie that pushed boundaries.
Easily top 5 of that decade IMO.
Donnie Darko should have been added, to this list instead of films like almost famous and avatar. Very surprised such a compelling film didn't even get an honourable mention.
right? but they go ahead and give an honorable mention to Before Sunset.
@@MultiplexityGaming It seems to me that they base their choices here too heavily on rotten tomatoes critics scores.
No love for Oldboy (2003)? 🥺 I've seen all these movies except for Almost Famous
Its not a Hollywood Mainstream Movie thats why you cant find Old Boy on this List.
^this guys right
I'm glad you put the correct movie as #1. I was worried you wouldn't.
Same... I was relieved
Lord of the Rings Return of the King, Pan's Labyrinth, No Country for Old Men, The Dark Knight, Inglorious Basterds
Sorry but No Country for ( stupid) old Men is one of the worst movie's ever made . Slow , boring and just plain stupid . Put yourself in any character's shoes in that movie and none of it makes any sense.
Don’t forget Revenge of the Sith Shrek
Wall e UP many more
@@bradley8575 are you saying those are good or bad . Because I can understand if you're understand if you are young and like those movie's. They are kid movie's .
@@feck2594 nah its amazing
@@feck2594 revenge of the sith for kids??what are you talking about?? im 39 years old and wall e is really good by the way
To this day I still think that Spider-Man 2 is peak superhero cinema!!
All movies are awesome but I think Harry Potter and Spider Man should have been included in the list.
feels like yesterday i was in the 2000s
Wait, Why you don't talk about Harry Potter and Spiderman? This movies are soul of 2000's.
That's because 20 is too small a number for a list like this.
Also Pirates...
I don't know how you guys do it, but these are really well-put-together videos, and there seems to be one for at least "many" of the topics I'm interested in. Good stuff. And a great decade for movies, or at least one I had a lot of growth in to watch them.
The Dark Night is one of the greatest movies I’ve ever seen.
The Dark Knight in my opinion is simply the best movie of all time !
@@Unknown-rz1sj The Dark Knight is masterpiece ! Citizen kane is extremely dated on the contrary, also Casablanca & Seven Samurai
@@MrMrjack18 the dark knight loll i guess you are born in the 2000s this movie is so much overrated. watch others movies kis
Sharknado is better
There will be blood is the greatest movie
Samwise is the real hero of Lord Of The Rings.
I agree, he had to put up with all of frodo's and smeagol's bs.
Training Day is better than Mean Girls
@Jhonathan Martins Lindsay Lohan did a better acting job than Denzel?
@Jhonathan Martins that’s like saying Jared Leto did better than Heath Ledger as Joker
Cmon not one animated movie? Shrek, The Incredibles, Wall-E or Up anyone?
I’m a big fan of all four of those movies you mentioned. I miss the old Pixar.
they 100% said that animated movies can have it own list
They said they get their own category.
@@shelleysprouse5687 my parents tell me i have selective hearing so i guess that’s how i missed the memo 😅
So that would be Spirited Away, Up and Wall-E in the top 3? Hopefully with Mind Game somewhere in there too.
Tom, your narration and essay is so good. You're a great addition to the team.
I can't agree with this list but I do respect it. My favorites
1. Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind.
2. The Departed
3. Cast away
4. The Dark Knight
5. Brokeback mountain
6. Inglorious Bastards
7. City of God
8. There will be blood
9. No country for old men
10. Pan's labyrinth
What about Training Day??? It should be on this list!!!!
Return Of The King is the perfect choice for #1. That said, where is Moulin Rouge! ? An explosion of extravagant production values, dazzling performances from Kidman and McGregor, and a wildly creative variation of the jukebox musical. Note that this movie original lives on in a very successful Broadway blockbuster.
I love the 2000s even though I am an early 2000s kid since I remember the times from 2001 to 2005 fondly and especially miss them.
City of God was an amazing film to me, probably that much more as I'll often bypass subtitled films feeling like I can't fully sink into it visually, missing out on small details of the scene if I'm reading what's going on. Don't remember why I thought I could sit still for it, or wanted to watch it at all, but glad I did. The story was tensely engaging.
I agree. Sat and read Subtitles also. It was that good
I've never actually seen the movie Castaway but I know the part where the ball floats away is very heartbreaking🙂
Lmao, it's definitely something you should watch though, it's a good movie. It gets clowned on a lot, there's a lot of really goofy tropes in it, and it's not particularly great in the rewatchability aspect (yep, I just invented a word) but it's sure as hell worth a watch, it's a really powerful movie.
Shaun of the Dead deserves a Top 10 at least imo
For some reason the 2000s get second billing when it comes to best decades in movie history, but to me they are neck and neck for the No 1 spot along with the 90s!
I don’t know about the 90’s but I agree the 2000’s were a really good decade of film
@@Sorry-sk4kt 90s is the best decade in film history!!
I know there were so many good movies in 2000s, but my favourite will always be The Dark Knight.
Not even one harry potter movie made the list? I think it deserves a spot considering the impact it had worldwide.. And agree with LOTR return of the king at #1 💯won most Oscars on a single night for a reason 💯🔥
The franchise as a whole is excellent, but I don’t there is a single film that deserves to be on a top 20 list. Maybe top 50. If we were looking at iconic franchises or properties of the 2000s it would be near the top. 👍👍
No, it aint really good
I would say Prisoner Of Azkaban.
@@jeuryrabassa4724 definitely PoA! 🖤🖤
I have to admit that I enjoy every movie on this list 👍🏾
Top 10 Most Technologically Advanced Civilizations In Movies.
I'm glad Lost In Translation was at least a honorable mention. One of my favorite movies. Sofia Coppola isn't a good actor, but she's a damn good director.

18. Zodiac
19. The Prestige
20. Shaun of the Dead
if you're gonna add marvel movies why put iron man over spider man 2
Man, Gladiator should be much higher. Favorite movie of the 2000s. The storytelling, choreography, musical score, and acting were all superb.
Daniel Craig's Bond is one for the history books. He gives off the raw appeal and danger of a wild beast in a cage which I also got that vibe from in the books. I'd watch a 100 more bind mvies with Craig in them.
And Casino Royale is a modern classic and my #1 favorite James Bond film of all time.
Collateral 2004 and Passion of The Christ, The Last Samurai, Unbreakable, Signs, Punch Drunk Love, Black Hawk Down, Chronicles of Narnia, Kingdom Of Heaven Directors Cut, Cinderella Man, SpongeBob the Movie, So many of those movies should be on here.
I would actually place zodiac and pans labyrinth higher but still a solid list. We don’t get that very often from watchmojo the recent years
brokeback mountain made me cry so bad..
90s and 2000s will always be my favorite part of my life and also 2010-2017 was something special to me
Yeah “walk to remember” could’ve made this list
The list was great!!
Until now, I wasn't sure why Avatar seemed like meaningless 'pap' to me, now I see. The Ring trilogy is why. The 'Ring' movies managed to present something worthy of Tolkien's masterpiece, while Avatar felt like a grandiose cartoon with a plot far thinner than its visuals.
1. The Lord of the Rings trilogy
2. The Dark Knight
3. There Will Be Blood
4. Gladiator
5. No Country for Old Men
6. Children of Men
7. City of God
8. The Departed
9. Spirited Away
10. Avatar
11. Brokeback Mountain
12. The Hurt Locker
13. Inglorious Basterds

16. Pan's Labyrinth
17. Lost in Translation
18. Almost Famous
19. The Bourne Ultimatum
20. X-Men 2
Avatar really?
Battle Royale deservers an honourable mention
Yeah, definitely but its not a Hollywood BS🤣🤣a No Go for Mojo.
Avatar ???? seriously? You better put In the mod for love (2000), Wall-E (2008), Memento (2000), Ocean's Eleven (2001) in that list.
Spiderman 2 how can you not add this one ????
I'll put it as my number 2 best superhero movie ever made behind the dark knight
Any doubt that The Lord of The Rings would be the number one , not just in 2000 , but it's one of the greatest movies of all time
Thanks for getting me excited about Pan’s Labyrinth when no English dub version exists
It seems like when you didn't experience much of your decade it's hard to understand when movies were released. But when you're actually ALIVE in your decade it makes more sense when movies were released because you were there and you remember it
This list is too "safe". Also, Iron Man is NOT a better film than Eternal Sunshine. LotR I've always liked but never loved as much as everyone else.
yeah "greats" no Iron Man doesnt really fit. I'd have given it an Honorable Mention.
Bro tbh Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind is my top pick😗
@@MultiplexityGaming its watchmojo bruh, go look at ANY movie list they have done that is related to MCU, comics, superheros, endings, etc they are contractually obliged to put RDJ and Tony Stark in there like it was this worldwide super Godfather level of cinematic achievements. Its disgusting

Zodiac too low still an underrated masterpiece
Dark knight easy
👏👏👏 finally you did it now movies of the 2010s and horror movies of the 2000s
X2 X-Men United
Spider-Man 2
Wedding Crashers
King Kong (2005)
Harry Potter and the Philosopher Stone.
These are some of the movies I reconcile with the 2000s and deserve more credit.
Seabiscuit should be in the list.
It's unbelievable They put mean girls over interstellar, inception, American psycho, requiem for a dream, unbreakable etc. I think y'all could have done a few picks better.
Interstellar is sooooooo good, I had to watch it twice because I'm kinda stupid and it gave me a brain ouchie the first time. But it's freaking perfect, and I don't say that about very many movies.
These films are clearly just in random order. While most of them are good some of the ones in the teens are far better than some top 10s.
okay y’all made a lifetime fan out of me with this list. this is a phenomenal list, but ending it with my all time favorite movie?! legendary. Return of the King (and the entire LOTR franchise for that matter) does not get enough attention or credit. the acting alone is just phenomenal, orlando bloom and viggo mortensen put on all time performances in each of the 3 films in this trilogy. props watchmojo, props ❤️
Almost Famous needs to be MUCH HIGHER like in the top ten
Maximus didn't become a gladiator to avenge his family. He was forced to become a gladiator.
Okay now animated of the 2000’s… it’s gonna be a bloodbath!
Absolutely no need for spoilers, regardless of how old they are. Avatar!!!??? Are you fucking kidding!?
500 Days of Summer and Up in the Air are great movies from 2009. I think Catch Me If You Can, Blood Diamond, Dan in Real Life & The Patriot are also great movies from this era.
Iron Man, still my favorite MCU film, and one of my top-10 all-time favorite films
Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon is also utterly fantastic

-No Country For Old Men
-There Will Be Blood
-Minority Report
-Chicken Run
-Friday Night Lights

"The Lord of the Rings " moves fit the times that we were in at the time ! Since they all came out post 9/11 .And felt at the time with opening lines in the first movie ,that we need a escape to go to .But you right "Lord of the Rings Return of the King " had it place then .And it still a timeless movie to watch today !
