In this video Rich from Eat Sleep VR gives tips to help get rid of motion sickness when playing vr with your quest 2, psvr2, pico 4 and quest pro

Ur videos are epic bro!
Thanks, much appreciated
Those are some great tips. I usually reach for a ginger ale myself after an intense session of Ultrawings2 or WW1 Fighters!
Nice - A ginger ale is a great choice 🍻 thanks for the comment
I remember having no motion sickness during my first time using a VR. However, it came to be months later out of nowhere. I had played a very active game and it did nothing. Nowadays it does and that is strange to suddenly get. I actually don't play VR that often, so it's odd.
Same! I played every day and was fine. Now I can't play for 10min without getting sick
Try to eat ginger pill
This is a great video. I don’t get motion sickness but a lot of people do.
Thanks for the comment. I still suffer with driving games occasionally but I can now play flying games like war planes with no problems.
@@EatSleepVR I should mention the only games that do make me motion sick is roller coasters. I forgot about those!
I can pay roughly 45 minutes until i get too dizzy.
Yeah for me it depends on the game but even with a tame game I can only spend a certain amount of time before my brain feels fried
I have a cure for all of this. Don't buy VR headsets. I feel nauseated and disgusted while I use VR, which is why I gave away my headset. I don't think they use it either. We are entering an epoch where we are delving into technology so much that it's physically hurting us. That's when we say no. VR is unnatural and we don't know the long term consequences. They're too expensive; people stop using them after the novelty wears off. VR sucks. It was a human mistake.
So say the luddites.
@@german719 I don't give a fuck about your opinion.
Lol pre 2000s magazines on gaming.
@@literalcringe6154 Yeah, I know. I'm not cool. VR makes me physically ill. Sorry about that. Use the damn things if you like. Stay in virtual reality. I'll stay in real reality. Different strokes. I'm sure a technology you have to take off after an hour or so is completely safe for everyone. Float yer boat.
Yeah nah, probably just overreacting mate.
"unnatural harmful technology"
bit much aye?
People got sick when doom and quake came out because we never had fps games like that before our brains didn't know how to handle it, modern landscape of gaming? Fps is everywhere and motion sickness isn't a issue for the majority who play them.
Its not about being cool.
Getting motion sick from vr is a well known occurrence, you can either put in the time and effort to get acclimated to it or not, one quick google search would have told you that.
"stay in vr, ill stay in reality"
Honestly mate, your techno fear mongering is a little late. People have been spending thousands of hours in WoW for like 2 decades now.
I can confirm chewing gum helps, ive played 30 mins without feeling sick !
