What a fantastic session! I’m so grateful with Kate and Alan for creating such an amazing community and course. It is my second time doing the course and I’m glad to see that I have made some progress. Still no where I want to be but thanks to listening to Bill and Jackie I’m happy to learn that I’m not late at my 48 and like you said Alan, this is not about a number because following this course and educating myself about money and following the process and I will end up in a better position and that’s what count. I want the book to continue leaning and improving. I came to the airport earlier to have time aside from work to spend 3 hours listening to the first class of the course on Monday and now this amazing talk. All worth it! Now I need I’m ready to catch my flight from Bologna to London. I’m grateful to be part of this community!

I would like the book because I'm 47 and only started this journey 2 years ago and I often feel like I'm not where I'm supposed to be. I started with £2.69 in my UK account, and a little bit more than that in my SA savings account. I now have a pension and I've become a good saver, my savings pockets are getting plumper! This year I'm clearing all my debt in South Africa by end July, payment arrangements in place and I'm on track. I'm still petrified of investing and don't know where to start, but I can see from this webinar that is the key step.

Why I’d love to receive the FIRE for Dummies book by Jackie…I’m a late starter but I’ve always been interested in the FIRE movement, investing and financial freedom but the big question at that time was…where should I start? I started with many free courses and materials and now I truly believe that reading the FIRE for dummies book would fill many lack of knowledge I’ve “compounded” over the years along with the amazing and helpful The Donegans course 🎉 get inspired by all of you is thrilling! I would like to win the book because we started this FI journey last year with Rebel Finance School '23 (aged 51) and have made massive strides foward. So much so we've modelled that the changes we have made have taken 10 years off our retirement date. Woohoo! We're excited to make more progress and are sponges to learn more - the book will help with this! :) Plus everything we learn we tell people about! We invited around 100 people to the course this year and at least 20 signed up. That's 20 people who will have better futures through learning about FI. My current self already thanks my past self for the progress so far, and is looking out for my future self and the future self of the people we intereact with. Thank you Jackie and Bill for sharing your journeys and Alan and Katie for giving so much to help thousands have better futures. ❤

I would like a copy of the book because….the ethos of FIRE is relevant to everyone…..kids, parents and grandparents….and I would use my learning from the book to spread the message to every group of those I meet….
I’d love a copy of the book because I’m still lost on FIRE. Everyone is in their 20’s and rich, making six figure checks while I haven’t met anyone with a middle class income able to retire early. My goal is now Financial Independence because it just doesn’t sound feasible.

I would like the book so that I can improve my financial situation. I am a late starter but the book would be a good resource to use to get on this journey. Share pass this information onto my adult children.. I also work with children that are in local authority care. I would like to help the young people and improve their life and inspire them. Ripple effect as book was created out labour of love for highest good helping others..

I would like a copy of the FIRE book because I am currently witnessing my parents struggling with money. I am a second-year university student who will be graduating in 2026 and starting my first job, so I really want to get ahead and be able to provide for myself and my parents comfortably. I want them (and myself) to retire without financial stress and actually get a home that is located in a safer area. I may also need to rent out as I start working, so I want to try and ease my own finances to do this.
My mother and I have started the RBF school course this year and I have a side job that I am practicing to save money from :))

I would love to have this amazing book in my hands - I did the Rebel School two years ago and it has made a huge impact on my investing even though I'm a VERY late starter. There are still other things I definitely need to tighten up on... so this is the year I go ALL OUT on it. To really have a handle on it all! All of you have given great tips and for me, I'm forgetting the guilt and building more from here! I have the capacity I just have to implement it! Thanks once again.
We would love a copy of the book. I’m 46 and my husband is 64. I’d really like to spend some quality time earlier than my retirement because in reality, we won’t be able to have a similar retirement experience to others. We only learned about this in the past 18 months and are doing everything we can to reach FI to make this happen but every bit of learning helps to maximise the potential of making this actually happen.

I would like a copy of the book F.I.R.E for Dummies because I'm a dummy on my way to FI and need all the help I can get. Just kidding. There are so many flavours of FI that it's getting a little silly. Barista Fire. Fat Fire. Coast Fire and so on. I joke that I'm Trash Fire: broke but doing it regardless. I mean that in a good way. 😅
I would like a copy of the book because I’m 35, with huge student debt, only starting to learn about personal finances (starting from scratch it’s simply an understatement. I’m a Colombian who studied in the UK… did I do it backwards? 🤔). But mainly, because I’m close to a lot of people (23 yo to 65yo) who are struggling financially and I would like to encourage and help start their own fire.

I would like to have a copy of the book because I am almost 50 and I realised that the job is not going to allow me financial freedom. I am trying to educate myself on money management and investments but I don't even know where to start. I feel a lack of basic knowledge and I need to walk before I can run.
We would like to win the book as I’ve just woken up this year realizing hubby is 55 ( I’m 48) and ideally would like to make the most of retirement early as we might not be in good health if we wait until we both reach 65….So we need to get cracking!

Enjoyed the video. I really liked Jackie and Bill sharing their stories and some of their numbers (e.g., Jackie spending $40k per year, savings rate 40%, retired with $1.3 million; Bill sharing about living paycheck to paycheck on a physician salary, he is planning to retire at 63 or 65, etc.). I would enjoy having a copy of the book so I can learn more about finances (specifically, F.I.R.E.) and ultimately teach my college students about finances and how to find freedom (Financial Independence) earlier than 65. Each semester (Fall, Spring), I teach two sections of a college course called "Wellness for Life". One of the 8 dimensions of Wellness is financial. Thus, I start each class sharing financial advice/tips. I spend about 5 to 15 minutes of class doing this (each class last 50 minutes). I use the rest of class to discuss the physical dimension (e.g., exercise, diet, etc.). I use a variety of financial sources for the advice/tips (youtube clips, financial calculators, books I have read, etc.). Having a hard copy of Jackie's book will allow me to take it to the classroom and share with my students content from the book. For example, I can share how they can F.I.R.E. earlier than 65 or at minimum just achieve F.I. earlier (e.g., by age 40), then have the freedom to continue working or doing other things. I want to plant financial "seeds" in my college students minds to help them with managing their future finances :)
