Never? That might be a bit extreme. Certainly the industry media pundits tend to ignore Angus and frankly Malcolm and the group for that matter. Guitarists tend to appreciate what Angus is able to deliver time and again. One of the best things about his play is that it is not so easy to replicate AC/DC in rhythm or lead work. A few notes - Bon was originally a drummer and wrote the lyrics for all their songs until his death. He had two notebooks of lyrics, he'd get an idea and jot down the lines and then Angus and Malcolm would come to him with the music, he'd look into his books to find some lyrics or ideas for lyrics and with his drumming experience, the rhythm of the words was important to him Those notebooks went missing when he died... he had left them to his ex-wife Silver but they could not be found. He was only about 5'3" but would be the first to jump into a fight and was a real scrapper.
I was a junior in high school and heavily into AC/DC when Bon Scott died. The general media consensus was the band was finished. I was so bummed out. But then they hired Brian Johnson and put out the greatest heavy metal album of all time. And here we are 42 years later. RIP Bon Scott. Gone but never forgotten.🎤
AC/DC were signed in Australia in 1974 and released 2 albums there in 1975... they became hugely popular there, and labels from Europe began looking at signing AC/DC internationally. While they were recording the 3rd album 'Dirty deeds done dirt cheap', Atlantic Records in the UK signed the band and released an international debut 'High voltage' album comprised of songs from their first 2 albums in 1976... That same year, AC/DC released 'Dirty deeds' and did their first UK shows to support the 'High voltage' album. Making an international version of 'Dirty deeds' for release in the UK, AC/DC discovered that Atlantic Records in the USA were not happy w/ the sales of 'High voltage' and after they heard 'Dirty deeds', they refused to release it - they deemed it a "poor" record. In 1977, AC/DC were desperate to break out of Australia & recorded the 4th album 'Let there be rock'... They got their label to put the record out in Europe, and then finally convinced the US label to release 'Let there be rock' and put AC/DC on tour in N. America for the first time. After the tragic death of original AC/DC singer Bon Scott in 1980, the band recruited vocalist Brian Johnson and the 1980 album 'Back in black' became a phenomenal hit, selling over 10 million copies in the US alone (25 million today!) ...AC/DC's US label decided to ca$h in on AC/DC's popularity in 1981 by releasing the 'Dirty deeds done dirt cheap' album - it sold 6 million copies.
Angus does sing that post chorus part when AC/DC perform DDDDC live, but it was Malcolm Young who did it in the studio. He uses that same voice in the chorus for TNT.
One of my early favorites from AC-DC would be, of course, "It's A long way to the top (if you wanna rock and roll)" and "Can I seat next to you girl?". Maybe could you give it a try ? ;)
AC/DC had the core of the band - Angus Young (lead guitar) and Malcolm Young (rhythm guitar) who founded the band in 1973. Malcolm Young was forced to retire in 2013... their nephew Stevie Young replaced Malcolm & played guitar on the last 2 AC/DC albums. Bon Scott joined in 1974 and did the vocals for the first 6 studio albums by AC/DC and their 1978 live album. He passed away in 1980. Brian Johnson joined in 1980 as the vocalist, and has been the singer on all AC/DC albums since 'Back in black' in 1980. Phil Rudd joined on drums in 1975 and played on AC/DC's second album (in Australia). He was fired in 1983 due to drug problems... He returned in 1995 and played drums for AC/DC until he was arrested in 2014. The band replaced him on tour, but he returned to record their latest album in 2020. Cliff Williams (bass) joined AC/DC in 1977 and played on all their records from 1978 til today... he announced his retirement in 2016, but did return w/ Phil Rudd and Brian Johnson to record their last album in 2020. Mark Evans (bass) joined AC/DC in 1975 and played on the first 4 AC/DC albums - he left the band in 1977. Simon Wright (drums) joined AC/DC in 1983 and played on 2 studio albums - he quit in 1989. Chris Slade (drums) joined AC/DC in 1990 for 1 album & 1 live record before Phil Rudd came back around 1994. After Rudd was arrested in 2014, Slade played drums on the 2015 - 2016 AC/DC world tour.
I discovered AC/DC in 1979. Been listening since I was 5 reciting early Beatles tracks in the mid 1960s. In the 1990s I watched my music world fade away as the younger turned to rap, proclaiming current music as "what my mom and dad listen to", which I assume was some form of turn-off. Today I see younger folk listening to music from my era (60's, 70's, 80's) and saying "This is awesome. What happened? Why did it go away?" Truly, the introduction of the digitized .MP3 song in the late 1990s, which can be copied perfectly with no loss in quality, the RIO digital player and the ability to illegally share songs with millions of strangers around the world via Napster, Limewire and similar files sharing sites killed the entire recording industry as we knew it. Rock clubs and record stores slowly vanished. A damn shame. Keep it alive, guys. Let the music play.
AC/DC such an awesome band. This one goes way back, but is such a good song, and you just find yourself singing along with it. Saw them 3 times, twice on their last tour they were all there. Traveled to Oakland, CA for one show, and then they came to Reno, Nevada and we saw them again. So good, and happy we went since all the members are not around anymore. Great reaction!!
Bruh all these comments are of you’s saying ‘so and so’ doesn’t get enoguh credit , or ‘blah blah blah’ gets overlooked ! 🗑🗑🗑🗑🗑they’re god damn one of the biggest bands of they’re time , shut up , no one’s overlooking anyone except maybe you while ur fishing for ur likes 🤡
AC/DC live at the River Plate. Awesome! Phil Rudd on the drums, you can see him on the live River Plate concert, he locks in. Someone told Rudd one time, "Man you are like a machine!" Phil said, "I know." lol He can hold the beat for 30 or more minutes. He's relentless.
I was a high school student when this song first released...we'd all sing along when this song was cranked to 11 and some of my friends would sing: " Dirty deeds and they're done with Sheep !! " Yeah, I had some strange friends in HS. AC/DC is awesome...obviously.
So many great songs during the Bon era. Especially love Let There Be Rock (official video) and Long Way to the Top with Bon on bagpipes. 🔥 Back door man also refers to I'll be your man on the side.
great song and band! Years ago, for some reason, a big local radio station (Q107) used to play this every night at 8pm. I would listen to it and get pumped up while logging into Xbox live for the night :)
Angus and Malcolm Young are originally from Scotland, but immigrated to Australia! Dave Evans was actually their first singer, but Malcolm and Angus pretty much knew he wasn't the right guy, enter Bon Scott and lasted until Highway To Hell when he died in 1980! They thought it was over, but they got the blessing from Bon's parents to continue, enter Brian Johnson formerly of Geordie! Except for a brief stint with Axl Rose, Brian Johnson is back! Their album Power Up has been around for awhile! Great band live!
“For Those About to Rock” will knock your socks off. For years in my teens I thought that was the most bad-ass song in existence…almost dirty, forbidden, pornograhic. Now I just think it’s a masterpiece. Also, “It’s a Long Way to the Top” - there exists no better song with bagpipes in it than this song.
Such a great tune to jam out to, never gets old, and I've been listening to it since it came out. 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Now this is a bit out there but I haven't seen you guys do any reactions to Wierd Al Yankovic parodies yet. He does a REALLY GREAT one for this song. Dirty Deeds Done With Sheep, it's flippin' HILARIOUS
The secret(s) to Angus's energy is 1. He absolutely loves what he does 2. He never wants to disappoint a fan 3. A cup of tea. Guess it's not a secret anymore...

ACDC was my favorite group in high school and Bon Scott was a great singer, but I'm a Brian Johnson fan all the way! This album is pretty good, but Back In Black is beyond phenomenal!
Such a distinctive voice... You know right away this AC/DC. With that breakdown wear his voice goes deep is cool! (Like in For Whom the Bell Tolls - "we're in the trenches"). Then there is the pause before the chorus. Nick had his stank face from 9:05. ❤ Cottage Cheese 😂
On my radio show, I used to do, a loooong time ago, I would once in a while, play the Bob Rivers version of this song..."Dirty Deeds done with sheep"...you might get a kick out of it...Rock ON!!!
Blackfoot- "Highway Song", at first it'll put you at ease, make you real comfortable, but if you're traveling down the road, believe me you best be strapped in good.
Live Wire from the album High Voltage! Surprising this got through because YT usually blocks the studio album stuff with Scott on lead vocals (thru '79) for reactors.
Dave Evans was lead singer before Bon Scott, also Bon didn't die from alcohol poisoning he died when he passed out in the back seat of a car and choked on his vomit.
It's different based on where you look but this one says something similar. www.cantonrep.com/story/entertainment/books/2017/11/05/bon-scott-s-overdose-fink/985555007/ "His cause of death, the coroner found, was “acute alcohol poisoning”, the official finding “death by misadventure.” Some claim it wasn't a great investigation but who knows. That's what was reported.
Joan Jett did a great cover of this song to. For a couple of AC/DC songs to check out, try "The Jack", "Ride On", and "Big Balls" for a few that I don't think I've seen reactions for.
If I’m an american idol judge I want Brian Johnson If I’m a fuckin ROCK BAND AND WE ARE AWESOMW BUT WE NEED A BAD ASS CHARISMATIC SINGER TO PUT US OVER THE TOP IM TAKING BON SCOTT NOT ONLY OVER BRIAN JOHNSON BUT MOST FRONT MEN EVER! Dude was lighting in a bottle💯
So I know Ryan loves Saxophones so it would be a crime to not tell you guys about a band that is HIGHLY underappreciated: The Midnight. They are a Retrowave band and their albums Nocturnal and Endless Summer heavily incorporate saxophones. I really feel like you will get a kick out of them. Here are two great songs to introduce you to their sound: Crystalline Vampires
Damn dudes 1st time checking out your channel...I thought when I saw 50duce...I thought you guys were 502nd Airborne Infantry...this is the theme song of the Infantry low pay and harsh living..Dirty Deeds dirt CHEEP
Now you gotta get to Eagles - Hotel California! There are a ton of reaction videos on it and no issues. Just please do the studio version (Most are using the live version though the studio IS available as I’ve played it before). You guys are awesome and I watch daily. Keep it up!
I don't know if you were implying Angus was singing some of this but I have never seen him sing. His brother Malcom sings backup. It was Bon Scott all the way. i
You really need to react to more Queen , Live performances. You can't beat them. Try "Save me", live at Montreal 1981, "Under pressure, Another one bites the dust, One vision...all live at Wembley 1986. Really, anything from the live at Wembley 1986 concert is great.
Geordie is a nickname for people from Newcastle in north eastern England. Like how people from Indiana are called Hoosiers and people from California are nuts lol.
Like a few others have mentioned, I'll suggest Let There Be Rock. It's obscure enough that maybe Ty hasn't heard it even if Nick has (we know Ryan won't know it😄). It's got a long, ripping guitar solo. The original video has the band jamming, and you get a feel for the singer Bon Scott. The song itself is a fantastic, high-speed tune. Cool lyrics. m.ua-cam.com/video/3f2g4RMfhS0/v-deo.html
The phrase "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" is an homage to the cartoon Beany and Cecil, which Angus Young watched when he was a child. One of the cartoon's characters was named Dishonest John, who carried a business card that read: "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. Holidays, Sundays, and Special Rates."
If you want to start listening to ACDC , start from all the Bon Scott era starting with " High Voltage " album all the way leading up to the Brian Johnson albums. Don't start with " Thunderstruck " or River Plate show.
man that does piss me off all reactors do that just because they think it will get em more views oooh and something else that you left off and that is don't do Bon Scott era songs with Brian singing them
@@sammy_dog would you rather do all the Bon Scott era first leading up to all the Brian ? Or just do all the Brian ? Many start off with the River Plate show or "' Thunderstruck " reactions. And although great , any band playing at River Plate gets the same amount of fans. But when ⚽ is played at that 🏟️ , it gets 10 times more full. And that's coming from a River Plate ⚽ fan.
@@guitarman8462 if your goin to do AC/DC its best to start off with Bon then go on and do them with Brian there are reactors that are doing that those that start off doin Thunderstruck or River Plate are only doin it for the subs and likes and they may only do 1 or 2 AC/DC songs any long term fan like me will prefer Bon over Brian dont get me wrong here i do love Brian but ive been a fan from the start hey a very young me made a cameo in the it's a long way to the top if you wanna rock n roll video standing by the truck as it rolled past haha

Dave Evans was lead singer before Bon Scott, also Bon didn't die from alcohol poisoning he died when he passed out in the back seat of a car and choked on his vomit.
Acute alcohol poisoning which led to him choking on his own vomit
No his blood alcohol level was not at those levels. He passed out drunk, on his back and didn't wake up when he vomitted . @@ViewsFromThe502
It's different based on where you look but this one says something similar. www.cantonrep.com/story/entertainment/books/2017/11/05/bon-scott-s-overdose-fink/985555007/
"His cause of death, the coroner found, was “acute alcohol poisoning”, the official finding “death by misadventure.” Some claim it wasn't a great investigation but who knows. That's what was reported.
IT'S A LONG WAY TO THE TOP IF YOU WANNA ROCK & ROLL Video.
Your house outlets have alternating current, and batteries have direct current.
BLACK FOOT.... HIGHWAY SONG .LIVE.
Joan Jett did a great cover of this song to. For a couple of AC/DC songs to check out, try "The Jack", "Ride On", and "Big Balls" for a few that I don't think I've seen reactions for.
Alright since you guys are starting from the Bon Scott era, you've got to hit Let There Be Rock. It's definitely one of their top five songs.
If I’m an american idol judge I want Brian Johnson
If I’m a fuckin ROCK BAND AND WE ARE AWESOMW BUT WE NEED A BAD ASS CHARISMATIC SINGER TO PUT US OVER THE TOP IM TAKING BON SCOTT NOT ONLY OVER BRIAN JOHNSON BUT MOST FRONT MEN EVER!
Dude was lighting in a bottle💯
nice drop with the Finding Nemo reference, well done
Alternating and direct current!
Here are two great songs to introduce you to their sound:
Crystalline
Vampires
Damn dudes 1st time checking out your channel...I thought when I saw 50duce...I thought you guys were 502nd Airborne Infantry...this is the theme song of the Infantry low pay and harsh living..Dirty Deeds dirt CHEEP
Big Balls has to be your next AC/DC reaction lol fk yeah 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
Now you gotta get to Eagles - Hotel California! There are a ton of reaction videos on it and no issues. Just please do the studio version (Most are using the live version though the studio IS available as I’ve played it before). You guys are awesome and I watch daily. Keep it up!
I don't know if you were implying Angus was singing some of this but I have never seen him sing. His brother Malcom
sings backup. It was Bon Scott all the way.
i
You really need to react to more Queen , Live performances. You can't beat them.
Try "Save me", live at Montreal 1981,
"Under pressure, Another one bites the dust, One vision...all live at Wembley 1986. Really, anything from the live at Wembley 1986 concert is great.
Geordie is a nickname for people from Newcastle in north eastern England. Like how people from Indiana are called Hoosiers and people from California are nuts lol.
Correct, it was also the band name. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geordie_(band)
@@ViewsFromThe502 Cool, I did not know that.
that's the slightly shortened version. (near the end)
Type In Exodus Dirty Deads Done Dirt and prepared to have ur ear drums rocked😂🤘
There was 2 Singers ACDC over the years!

For a laugh you guys should listen to the Bob River's spoof of this song "Dirty Deeds Done With Sheep"

You guys should check out their cover of a song called Baby please don't go.
We said that lol
bon scott singer ,the best
@@guitarman8462 if your goin to do AC/DC its best to start off with Bon then go on and do them with Brian there are reactors that are doing that those that start off doin Thunderstruck or River Plate are only doin it for the subs and likes and they may only do 1 or 2 AC/DC songs any long term fan like me will prefer Bon over Brian dont get me wrong here i do love Brian but ive been a fan from the start hey a very young me made a cameo in the it's a long way to the top if you wanna rock n roll video standing by the truck as it rolled past haha
react to the live version of this song, live in river plate 09, argentina, whith brian johnson
This was great. You guys should check out Riff Raff (Official Video), it's amazing. Peak AC/DC.
Concrete shoes 😂😂😂
Try The Poor for Angus and Malcolm's brother James' band. Another good Australian band.
AC/DC is also another way of saying a person swings BOTH ways(sexually).See,learn something new every day above ground.
Good aussie oi music....
Great Bon songs
Soul Stripper
Walk All Over You
Man you have a very long Road Ahead….. to paraphrase ( A Highway to Hell…. Plenty of Acca Songs to React too…..and no matter what they will always be Australian….🇦🇺.
I think of Homer Simpson singing this when I hear it now.
